Took my family of 6 over to their food truck on FM 967 and it's 6 thumbs up! We ordered two tofu pad Thai dishes and shrimp pineapple fried rice, all of which Ivory made Gluten-free for us. All of which was delicious and there was enough for lunch the next day. We will be sure to visit Thai2U again and again. read more

This is my first time trying Thai food and I have to say it was delicious! My husband and I both ordered the chicken pad Thai. They serve a lot of food so we will have leftovers for tomorrow which is a plus. Each plate is $10 but with the amount of food it's worth it! They have a cute patio but unfortunately it was raining and we weren't able to take advantage of the full experience. They mentioned the menu will be changing everyday so My only suggestion would be to call ahead if you have a specific plate in mind. We will definitely be going back. read more

Even though it is located practically around the corner from me , I finally ventured to The Barn on Brodie , awesome place for a few drinks and to hang out but that is a different review! Anyway it was while at said bar that I discovered Thai 2 U which is this review. I was chatting away sipping my beer when I became hungry so I strolled over with my friend to the food truck .The choices were overwhelming because everything sounded delicious . Luckily the incredibly sweet owner was there and offered a little sample of all her fillings . They were all so good ! I finally decided on the Pad See Ew rolls . They were amazing, Thai food that is fried in an egg roll is evil genius! Filling was flavorful and spicy ,outside was fried delicious ness and the sauce just put it all over the top.I am dreaming about the next time I eat one. Wonderful food and such friendly service! Me and my sister shared the pad thai, chicken eggrolls and another entree I forgot the name of. We were full to the max and weren't even close to finishing our food. The flavors are really nice and I was happy we could get the spice on the side to add ourselves. The ladies that work there are really sweet and helpful. The first thing you should know is one roll is a good amount of food. You will not leave hungry. Though actually that might not be such a good thing because these rolls are so good I actually wanted an excuse to grab another. The rolls are breaded so they taste a bit like Katsu curry (minus the fish taste). They are crispy but still chewy and there is a good ratio of ingredients and everything tastes fresh. Last weekend, I went out of my way to stop by and get Thai 2 U's chicken pad thai! So delicious and I love the fresh cilantro they put on top. Have also had the chicken fried rice (delish) and the spring rolls were good, too. I appreciate how they garnished my pad thai with a fresh slice of lime and chopped cucumbers on the fried rice. Superb! They are situated in a nice park that's a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. read more

Where to begin? Not only were these some of the friendliest people I've met in austin, their food is AMAZING!! My favorite part of the meal was taking the lid off of the red curry letting the floral notes waft out. Every bite of this meal was fresh, layered with flavor, and perfectly delightful. My wife and I were zipping by on farm road 967 and spotted a couple of food trucks. I went for Mexican and my wife went for Thai. Although my Mexican Tacos were exceptional, I attacked my wife's food. The Pad Thai was like nothing we ever tasted before .. Talk about fresh and an incredible explosion of flavors. I visited this food truck on Saturday with my boyfriend and it was delicious! I had the thai fried rice roll and it was so good, not at all greasy, especially considering it was fried. There is also an option for a spring roll without frying if that's not your thing. The portions are huge and I took half home to have another meal. The woman who runs the truck is super nice and I can't wait to go back and try something else. So the side of the road near Buda, TX was not the place I would have ever begun to look for great Thai food but was I in for a surprise. I happened upon this gem on a detour and took a chance on it. I'm glad I did. Not only were the people operating this food truck a pair of wonderful and extremely nice ladies but the food was amazing and the portion size was big. The pad Thai roll is pretty good. A little bit oily but that's to be expected from food trucks. There is 2 roll in each order which is enough for 2 people since they are big. The unconventional shape and color of this food truck caught our attention as we were driving home this past weekend... we decided to stop. I have been passing this food truck on various occasions and never quite had the nerve to stop by seeing that only two trucks are on the lot and it looked sketchy. Glad we stopped today. This blue truck serves the yummiest Thai food and so glad we didn't have to drive into Austin or settle for BBQ in the area. We had the Pad Thai, wonderful blend of flavors. We LOVE Thai2U and have been going almost weekly for the past year. I get the beef pad kee mao spice level 1 (which is pretty darn spicy to me) and my husband gets beef pad Thai. Hubs and I finally tried this place based on the reviews, and I'm so happy we did. Owner Ivory is visibly proud of her food--offered us samples before we ordered, asked what we liked and made recommendations based on that, and then described to us the origins of the ingredients--organic, local, some even grown in her garden. And her pride is not misplaced--we got the pad woon sen rolls and the chicken larb rolls--the first deep-fried and decadent, the second in rice paper with fantastic, flavorful larb chicken and fresh veggies and herbs, so a good balance. (All food is available as an entree rather than a roll if you prefer, but we had to try it.) The flavors are so fresh and faceted--the pad woon sen is mostly glass noodles with a wonderfully layered savory flavor, with chunks of moist and tender chicken. Even the sauces are spectacular, a hot-sweet duck-sauce type sauce and a delicious ponzu-type reduction, both excellent on both dishes. A great experience all around, and we'll be back.
