Moon and her menu.
Diana V.

If you like Thai, you've got to try this establishment. We stopped by for the first time. Moon is super sweet. She took the time to explain her menu and to give us samples. Got to admit, everything was delicious. I'm enclosing the menu.

Mango Sticky Rice

The Thai teas were so creamy and refreshing .The pad Thai had such a deep flavor topped off with super fresh veggies with the crispest egg rolls to accompany it. The mango sticky rice was prepared to perfection and topped off with rich coconut cream and the sweetest softest mangos .The owner was so nice and the food is made to order, even waiting for online order drivers to be nearby to prepare your food in order for you to get the freshest food possible. They had nice outdoor seating with the cutest look of the forest and hills. You can tell the owner is so passionate about the food her customers experiences.

This place is so delicious and the customer service is amazing!! I've been passing it for a couple of months on my way to work and finally had a chance to stop by and so glad that we did. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend you guys give this place a try. The sweet lady working the truck the day we stopped by even gave us a Thai green tea to try and it was delicious!

Thai Tea -

The entire experience at Thai 2 U was very pleasant from start to finish. We were immediately greeted by the owner, Moon, and was offered samplings of the many delicious food options. Pad Thai red curry roll, pad Thai roll, veggie roll, basil Thai fried rice roll were all amazing!!! My wife and I left with a happy and fully belly and leftovers for the next day. We will be back very soon!

Yummy green tea; it was hot and I forgot to take a picture before throwing it back for some temperature relief.

Got a single green curry roll (chicken included) and a green tea for $11 after tax. She asks if you like your tea, are you vegetarian, "you know it's deep fried, right?", how best to eat your dish...she really cares about your needs and providing the best experience for your meal. A sincerely friendly lady turning out some really tasty food. The roll's enormous, love the peanut sauce. If I hadn't already busted my gut getting in half a giant cheeseburger and fries from next door this would have been a perfect adult lunch size. Maybe add a side salad. A wonderful first visit and everything about it says I should go back for more. Thank you!

We went weekend around 5:30pm, followed GPS, it took to Lowe's parking lot, thought maybe wrong address on thEre website and called them, we were at the right address, they park truck in Lowe's parking lot. We wanteD to try green curry spring rolls with tofu, but they were out so ended up ordering chiCken spring rolls, so if you're vegetarian, I'd say call before going. It's the only truck tHere, person who took our order was nice. you get 3 rolls per order, Spring rolls are huge, was hot, stuffed with rice chicken, noodles and green curry, stuffing was kinda dry needed some more green curry and noodles inside was not good, it was sticky and chewy like rubber texturE. It came witH peanut sauce which was ok. Overall it's good.

What a wonderful spot! As a university student who commutes along this road everyday, I will absolutely be stopping here again! I got the Thai Green Tea that I highly recommend!!! Perfect slight sweetness, creamy, vanilla, pandan notes, and the best thai green tea I've tried. Then, I ordered the Pad Thai Red Curry Rolls (not the full set) with added Shrimp for $2 and it was SO GOOD!! Rich, full of flavor, and the perfect portion size. It looks a little deceiving rolled up but it was very filling. Moeun (Owner) was amazing, had wonderful customer service, and was quick to give me samples and even offered to top off my green thai tea. Meal + drink came out to $21 and it was worth it! The winter soups and drink/meal pricing was also available

I love Thai food and this place screams freshness. Food was absolutely delicious! We got the fried rice which was fresh topped with bell peppers, cucumber and other veggies. It has a nice amount of spice for flavor. If you think hot wings are spicy, then it might be a bit much for you. We also got the Pad Thai spring rolls that comes with a sauce which is to die for! We met the owner, and she is so kind. Offered many samples prior to placing our order. Absolutely delicious and gave us ideas for our next visit. She takes pride in the food she makes, and the craftsmanship is impeccable. We plan to visit this place often. Support local business!

Ask the Community - Thai 2 U

Do you ever have Pad Phrik King or Kao Pad?

Can't find it. According to my map, it's in the parking lot of a Lowe's?

It is, near the pick up section!

Do they make drunken noodles(tofu)?

Yes, we sure do!

Do they serve Tom Yum?

Yes, we serve Tom yum fried rice, Tom yum soup, and Tom yum kha gai soup. Your choices of chicken, shrimp or tofu. Thank you

Any vegetarian options?

They make everything absolutely fresh and DEFINITELY has vegetarian options! The protein choices are chicken, tofu, and shrimp.

Is this only a roll place now or does it serve the traditional dishes like pad thai noodles or curry meals? The latest reviews confuse me, plus the recent pictures are only of rolls, but the older ones show great looking dishes (non-rolls). Thanks!

Hello Stephen, we also do the traditional pad Thai chicken. On the days of the week whichever it lands on then you also have the option whether you want it traditional or in Rolls. But we just started our Winter menu: Thai-FUL Clear broth Chicken… Read more

We arrived about 10 after and there were already 5 tables seated but no one appeared to have drinks or anything on their tables. They have one hostess, one waitress, and one person making sushi. The poor waitress was STRESSSED to say the least. And there was a 30+ minute wait for sushi. We did order sushi, but ended up just canceling it after we started eating the rest of our meal and it wasn't coming out anytime soon. I'm assuming that there's no tip sharing at this restaurant since the hostess stands around and scrolls her phone instead of helping out the waitress. The hostess could refill drinks, clear dirty dishes, bring to-go boxes, etc., but she does nothing except seat tables. It just puts a bad taste in your mouth as a customer when you see staff literally doing nothing when you need service and have to wait on the busy waitress to provide it to a full restaurant. We had to ask for everything...utensils, straws, sauces, to-go boxes (3 times so I just got up and got them myself), the check, etc. Annoying. The food came out rather quickly after being ordered, but we were really disappointed with the temperature of our entrées. They were lukewarm, at best, when I would've expected things to come out steaming hot. Portions are large though and I liked my Pad Thai leftovers. Overall, it was just a lackluster experience and we probably won't be back. Maybe to-go is the way to go here.

Even though I ordered tofu, the chicken was cooked perfectly and it was not too spicy! Sushi was nice and cold (which is a huge feat- since it was DELIVERY) ao that was a plus. Just sharing this in hopes the restaurant pays a bit closer attention in case someone is a vegetarian and can't eat this- 1037202817/10 recommend! Oh and if you go in person, try to guess the song that's playing- they always have latest pop music on instrumental!

But what keeps us coming back isn't just the value--it's consistency. The food tastes home-cooked, comforting, and reliably fresh, with trays constantly refilled and dishes coming out hot. Service is where they really shine. The front is run by just two women, Ang and KK, who somehow do it all--turning tables quickly, checking guests out, and still managing to be attentive and kind throughout. It's efficient without ever feeling rushed. Yes, it's a bit of a drive out to Universal City for us, but every visit ends the same way: full, happy, and already planning the next one. How soon? We actually don't know yet!

A True Hidden Gem Near JBSA-Randolph…read more I've been coming to this hidden gem, Thai O'Cha, since 1999, and it has never disappointed. This sweet little Thai restaurant near JBSA-Randolph is one of those rare places that just gets it right every single time. They offer a plentiful buffet, and the food is always hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. You can tell everything is made with care, and the flavors are consistently spot-on. The service is awesome too -- friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. My absolute favorite item is the crispy duck curry. It's rich, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and honestly crave-worthy. I order it whenever it's available and think about it long after I leave. If you're looking for authentic, comforting Thai food with great service and a cozy neighborhood feel, Thai O'Cha is a must. I'll happily keep coming back -- just like I have for over two decades.

The other reviewer that said the peanut sauce was wack, was correct. it was not the normal sauce, it was some weird oil with peanut butter bits floating in it. The crab rangoons were not bad. I just really would not recommend this to someone who really loves pho." - I said this a month ago and took it down because the owner called to harass me questioning why I left a bad review. She called me 2-3 times at 9-10pm at night trying to get ahold of me. She left a voicemail saying she wanted to talk in person and explain to me the purpose of "tax" and "having to pay for bills." At this point I was scared and removed my review but let me just say, if I could leave 0 stars, I would.
