Siam is located on a second level in one of the buildings in DIX30. Parking can be on the street, but go into the underground parking as it's free and well you can basically walk around to the right building underground when it's super snowing or cold and pop up in the right building. It's pretty amazing, but I guess this is standard in snowy climate areas. When you walk to Siam, there is seating inside if you're wanting to eat there. Just remember to bring your Covid card to prove your vaccination status and also just make sure to check to make sure you know the requirements when dining in as the rules seem to change every where not just in Canada. We were here just to pick up, so we ordered ahead and it was fairly straight forward. We got a variety of items but of what I had was pad see ew, beef jerky, and panang curry (descriptions and pricing below) BŒUF SÉCHÉ SIAM - $13.95 SIAM BEEF JERKY Bœuf mariné, séché et frit. Salade de papaye marinée et sauce lime et poisson. // Marinated beef, dried and deep fried, marinated papaya salad and fish & lime sauce. ~ This was truly a jerky. It was hard, but very very flavorful and went well with the fish and lime sauce. I don't think I'd get this again but it was something different that we've never had from a Thai spot. CARI PANANG AU BŒUF - $30.95 BEEF IN PANANG CURRY Bœuf braisé, cari Panang, lait de coco, feuille de kaffir // Braised beef, Panang curry, coconut milk, kaffir leaves ~ Very flavorful curry. I would totally get this again but wowsers, that price is kind of giving me a heart attack. PAD SEEW - $23.95 Bœuf, nouilles de riz, gailan, œuf, sauce soya // Beef, rice noodles, Gailan, egg, soy sauce ~ Pretty standard pad see ew. I wish there was more veggies, but there was plenty of beef! Overall, very expensive Thai food but that seems to be the case when we're not in the US. It was all quite standard with good flavors. Missing a lot of veggies, but then again not many Thai dishes focus on veggies (well nothing in Canada seems to be heavy in veggies). Good to try but can't say it was the best Thai I've ever had.

Tonight was really good: the crab soup actually had crab, the kamikaze maki had solid tuna, not tartare, and the pad that had plenty of shredded chicken and six nice size shrimp. Everything beat my expectations, the noodles in the pad thai were compressed into a bloc, which I had to tear apart. Notwithstanding the noodles, everything tasted amazing. But, if you go make it a Thursday evening. Twice I have been really happy with my order, but once it was pretty bad, with my food lukewarn, fried apples rubbery, no tea that was supposed to be with the table d'hote. Not to sound sexist, but both Thursdays the staff in the dining room was female; the Tuesday night, I think it was, there were two guys and they didn't even bother with utensils. And the ladies gave me a 10% discount! No idea about the kitchen staff, but again Thursday night rocks. Definitely going back for more. PS: Bring your own wine. Most restaurants in the area allow that, but I don't know of they licensed to sell alcoholic beverages.

It also serves sushi, although I didn't sample that. Maybe on my next trip to Montreal! Wonderful example of a neighborhood restaurant. Very clean. Highly recommended.

This was a pretty large and clean restaurant located in a large plaza with plenty of parking. They had lots of tables and also a pretty robust takeout service. It was very family friendly and they accommodated our large group with attentive service. They had lots of good options on the menu and the pho dac biet was pretty decent.

Bun Bo Hue - 10/10 Super flavorful broth and a perfect super mild spicy! I personally don't like all the pork feet and bones in my noodle soup but authentically I think it should come with it and other people prefer it. But I liked that it only came with the regular viet ham and beef bc I don't like the other things. #44 Pork Chop Rice Plate - 10/10 It may look small on camera but this portion was HUGE. Lots of rice! But the pork chop was decent regular size. Pork chop was perfectly marinated and I love the glaze that comes with it. Cooked perfectly as well not too dry and not tough. Also the fried egg was perfect! A little soft fried sunny side egg yolk! Overall I loved all elements of this place and I had so much rice left over but I was FULL for the whole day. Banh Xeo - 10/10 HUGE portion as well! It's super stuffed with lots of filling and the crepe was cooked soft and crispy! I like this style of appetizer because it's super hands on and you get to wrap it like a little roll. Super fun and yummy appetizer! ALSO pleaseee try the sugar cane drink! It's so refreshing and it's real authentic sugar cane and it literally soothes your soul. The ambience was super welcoming and the restaurant was super big and spacious. Overall, I liked every single dish and everything was super flavorful and made me feel good eating it! Best bun Bo hue I had!

I love it with tofu and coconut milk and it's AMAZING! The lunch portions are just right; they won't be so huge as to drag you down for the rest of the afternoon and big enough to satisfy. I've completely forgotten the name of the warm, green cakey dessert that's always on the menu (papaya?); thick, satisfying and SOOO tasty! Yes, it's a bit on the costly side, but the quick and friendly service and the fresh and airy ambience make the price totally worth it. Five stars! Go go go! You won't regret it.

Upon a quick look at the menu it was clear that the prices here were a bit on the high side (ex. an appetizer side salad for $9). We decided to try the mango shrimp salad to share, the red curry beef for me, and the duck for the hub. The food came out quickly, and although the salad was good it was definitely nothing to write home about. I was looking forward to my curry and was really disappointed when it literally had zero flavour. Having had great curries around the city, I was expecting to be met with this warm, all encompassing deliciousness but instead was bored with the tastelessness of the whole dish. Hubby's duck was ok but nothing special. Overall, ended up spending about $70 for the above, and left feeling very unsatisfied.. won't be back :(
