Nice location right off route 15. Easily accessible and by the outlets. Food was as to be expected for a chain restaurant. Not bad but not over the top. The waitress was nice and attentive. Nice spot for travelers to grab a bite without going far.

You can feel the filth!

Today i Had dinner at this Friday's. I was very excited. Hadn't been here in a while. My party ordered our food. We get ready to eat to find the nastiest dirtiest utensils I've literally ever seen! Said something to the server. She says they are all this way. But try another set. Second set nasty dirty. Had to complain again to our server and get cheap plastic fork and knife. What's even worse is the manager says he knows about this issue due to soft water issues. ok fine, why give the filthy dishes to customers? If the health department saw this instant shut down! Yes we got a little discount. We should have gotten the whole thing comped! Don't go there! Look at the nasty pics! This is unacceptable!

Let me tell you for a simple order of two soups and a couple of appetizers this place needs better management. We ordered pickup over DoorDash and I even turned around and felt bad because DD didn't issue them a tip. What I got was soggy fried green beans, broccoli cheddar soup that was like paste and potato skins that looked like they had sat for hours.. This is the kind of service you get when you give good tips. I wouldn't feed any of this to my dogs.

The food was delicious. The rainbow cake was gross. Not worth the money.
Linda C.

Food was delicious as always. But do not waste your money on the rainbow cake. It was soggy cardboard and tasted like it.

All you can eat apps... $10 Buffalo Bites Very good!

Would not recommended. You'll have better luck going to McDonalds, food/staff/customer service is a 0. Use your money elsewhere.

It's kind of small inside, so not as much seating as other places. Small menu, but that is not a bad thing at all, but, if you are in the mood for something specific be sure to check to make sure they have it before you go. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with the seasoned waffled fries. My husband got one of their salads and added shrimp to it. Both were very delicious! We had to try the desserts. We shared the pb pie & cheesecake with caramel sauce. Wow they are amazing. Our server was super friendly & polite. Pricing was fair. They add 3% for credit card use just a heads up, I know some people don't like that. So you know to pay cash otherwise.

We came in about an hour before closing, and our server Aedan was absolutely wonderful. She was energetic, sweet and attentive, and never made us feel rushed. Easily some of the best service we've had in a long time. We started with the Supreme Nachos, and these are definitely meant to SHARE! They were HUGE and absolutely loaded. The housemade chips were incredibly crispy, and I loved the addition of banana peppers. They added a tangy bite and different kind of heat alongside the jalapeños. Some of the best nachos we've had outside of a Mexican restaurant, and our table of four still only finished about half! My mother-in-law got the Reuben with onion rings and said it was the BEST Reuben she's ever had. That says a lot because it's one of her usual orders when eating out. She especially loved how flavorful and tender the corned beef was. My husband got the Tuesday special of 3 steak tacos for $10. The steak was tender and tasted like quality cuts of beef. His only criticism was that it could use more seasoning and that a housemade spicy ranch or signature sauce could really take the tacos to the next level. I got the fish and chips, and the haddock was MASSIVE! The thin, crispy batter stayed perfectly attached, and the fish was hot, flaky and tender. The very thin tail end was slightly dry, but it was such a small portion that it didn't take away from the meal. The biggest surprise was their housemade tartar sauce. Creamy, tangy and slightly sweet from the relish. Hands down my favorite tartar sauce I've had! The seasoned battered waffle fries were also delicious, and they give you a TON. The coleslaw wasn't personally my preferred style since I like a finely minced, sweeter and juicier slaw, while theirs was longer shredded and drier, but that's completely personal preference. Portions here are HUGE, so several meals could easily be shared or give you plenty of leftovers. We also loved the cozy neighborhood pub atmosphere with exposed brick, dark wood, baseball and Eddie Plank memorabilia, and moodier lighting. Between the food, atmosphere, huge portions and especially Aedan's wonderful service, Gettysburg Eddie's has officially earned a spot in our Gettysburg rotation. We can't wait to come back!

My uncle ordered a cup of chili to start. It was served hot which is always a bonus. Not too spicy even though it had a spice label next to it on the menu. The presentation was nice as it's served with 4 tortilla chips. My Aunt opted for the babyback ribs served with fries. My uncle's main dish was the soft shell crab tacos while I went with the brisket mac and cheese and side Caesar salad. These items, with exception of the salad, were on a separate menu, likely seasonal. The servings are large (even the side salad)! I barely put a dent in my Mac and cheese. I was a little disappointed that the brisket that was "folded" within my MAC and cheese was playing Hide-and-seek. I would prefer more protein in that dish based on the quantity of pasta. The salad was well-dressed. At most restaurants I have to add caesar dressing to the salads. I washed it down with a sweet tea while my Uncle tried the White Birch beer. My aunt thought the baby back ribs were dry, and had a bit too much sauce on it. It would have been nice to have less sauce on the ribs, with additional sauce on the side. My uncle did not think the soft shell crab tacos were all that (although novel), which is probably why he ordered. It had more batter on it, and one can barely taste the crab. He said he would not order it again. As residents they will not go back to this restaurant anytime soon, and can't really recommend it unless someone just wants to try give it a try. I'll have to try the root beer on my next visit. Our waiter was very attentive and the volume in the restaurant was reasonable enough to have table conversations. I definitely recommend stopping at one of these locations if you're visiting or passing through.

The server was a young guy, who, at 3 pm on a Wednesday really just was trying to grab a bite to eat himself in the back room. No attempt at a smile, but he did go through the motions. We've been servers before so we know what it's like to be tired on your feet, but this wasn't that. As to the food, the bratwurst reuben was really, really, not good. The fries were fine. Burgers were decent. They forgot (several times) the sauce for my kids chicken tenders, so that we had to go get it ourselves, and by the end, it felt like we couldn't wait to get out of there. Bummed, we've been waiting to go for a few years! It's amazing how a few smiles could have improved the experience.

Big open space, cold craft beers, free pool, Skee-Ball, basketball games, and enough TVs to make sure you didn't miss a single goal. The wood-fired brisket pizza? It was... okay. Solid effort, but it wasn't lifting any trophies today. The wood-fired wings with buffalo sauce on the side were a better play. The calamari was decent, but the heavy wood-fired flavor tackled it a little too hard. Now the real MVP? The Syrian gyro. Absolute world-class performance. If there were VAR reviews for sandwiches, this one would've been confirmed a goal every time. Final score: Syrian Gyro: Champion Wings: Strong second Pizza: Needs a halftime speech Calamari: Fouled by too much smoke. First, half the tables were empty and there was still like a half hour wait. It just seemed not staffed enough, but once you're here (they don't take reservations) there's not a lot of places nearby to change your mind to. There is a small merch shop to browse as you wait. The tables are nicely spaced out. The Bavarian pretzels were great, but they only come with mustard and cheese is an upcharge, which I've never seen as a pretz connoisseur. It was an interesting thicker cream cheese-ish dip which required spreading with the knife. The website lists a "weekly steak special" but none was to be found when we went. So we got the gyro which was decent and the Philly cheesesteak which was extremely salty to the point of being almost inevitable. The homemade chips (the only non upcharge size) were thick and crunchy. Both sandwiches were around $20 which felt overpriced for the quality. Other sides were available for an upcharge, which seemed not worth it on the existing bill. The service was good, the bathrooms were nice, and there was plenty of parking. The food was just disappointing. If you're more of a drinker, you may be able to overlook that.

Submitted for your approval... Imagine, if you will, a…read moresudden, inexplicable craving for two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, and onions on a sesame seed bun. Your mind immediately wanders to McDonald's. But then reality intervenes. Do you really want two beef patties with the thickness and structural integrity of wet newspaper? Of course not. And that, dear reader, is when you find yourself crossing an invisible threshold into a place where ordinary appetites encounter extraordinary proportions. A place known simply as The Gettysburger Company. Our story begins in historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, just off the roundabout. The entrance, tucked along the side toward the rear, has the curious discretion of a Prohibition-era speakeasy. Inside awaits an atmosphere somewhere between a classic American diner and a rustic lodge, with seating in the front, back, and an outdoor courtyard. Our traveler read a familiar arrangement of ingredients bearing an uncanny resemblance to that famous burger beneath the Golden Arches. Except this particular specimen exists in another dimension entirely. When he placed the order, the friendly waiter asked not once, but twice, whether he was absolutely certain. "Hell yeah!" He declared, blissfully unaware of the enormity of his decision. And then came the waiting. Minutes passed. Doubt crept in. Had he made a terrible mistake? Had his appetite written a check his stomach couldn't cash? Suddenly, the waiter returned. But something was different. He required BOTH HANDS to lower the meal onto the table. There it stood. A towering monument to bovine magnificence. An architectural impossibility held together by a single wooden skewer, crowned with a pickle like some peculiar monument to mankind's culinary ambition. Our traveler's eyes widened. His mouth watered. Somewhere, the laws of physics quietly resigned. He attempted to pick it up like an ordinary hamburger. A foolish assumption. This was no ordinary hamburger. A knife became necessary to bisect the beast. And then came the first bite. The flavor is a hundredfold better, and the beef patties possess the thickness of regulation hockey pucks. Beautifully grilled to medium, the beef was juicy, deeply flavorful, and unmistakably authentic. Every ingredient played its part in perfect harmony. Nothing overwhelmed. Nothing disappointed. A burger of astonishing proportions that somehow delivered equally astonishing flavor. It was a WOW moment. The fries, meanwhile, were another curious phenomenon. Thick, twisted creations, crispy on the outside, tender within, and seasoned with just enough precision to make one question why ordinary French fries continue to exist. The Gettysburger Company offers an assortment of burgers, from familiar classics to creations that seem to challenge the very boundaries of human appetite. And should you somehow survive the main course with room to spare, the dessert menu promises yet another journey beyond the limits of conventional reality. And so we leave our hungry traveler, forever changed by an encounter with a sandwich of impossible dimensions. A man who entered seeking an ordinary burger and discovered that somewhere between appetite and excess lies culinary perfection. A place where patties are thick, expectations are shattered, and the only thing more extraordinary than the burger is the realization that you actually finished it. You've just crossed over into... the Twilight Zone. You've been warned.

I had the smokehouse burger. I ordered it medium rare and it was served exactly how I ordered it. It was pink, moist, juicy and not over cooked. The burger was not a frozen or preformed patty. I could see the patty was hand formed. We were sat immediately at a table not far from the kitchen. Each of the dozen or so tables comfortably sits four people each. Our server was friendly, cheerful and attentive. There is a bar in the main dining area serving liquor and beer. In the back of the bar is a pool table and an outdoor patio also with a bar and several tables, offering a great way to eat and relax outside. There are two bathrooms, one inside the restaurant and the other is outside by the patio. The one by the patio is a little cleaner and better maintained. Burger prices are a little on the high side, averaging between $17.00. However, you are getting a superior burger. Street parking can be a bit of a challenge due to the restaurant being located in downtown Gettysburg. Parking is free on Saturdays and Sundays until 1 PM. This is a nice local pub to meet up with friends and family for a casual eating experience I recommend giving this joint a try. The qualitu of the burgers alone make it worth while.
