I've participated in a few .22 falling plates challenges (they do them for both pistol and rifle) and they're a lot of fun and inexpensive to participate. I haven't looked into membership or usage outside of these competitions, but it's a good spot to hold these in the winter time when it's too cold to be doing them outdoors.

So I'll start saying that staff is friendly. That said I don't even know where to start. So, I…read morebought the mancraft system for my tac41p I called to see if they could install it, they said yes so I took the hour drive. Left it with them and was told that technician will call back in a couple days, a week after I was the one making the call. Someone tells me that the technician said that the mancraft system was broken, but they tell me to call back later. Call back later, talk to technician and technician informs that it's not broken but that it has the wrong spring... we both agree that a spring is not a big deal and it could be changed, he says he will call back and tell me the additional price for the spring. Never calls back I call back a week later. Someone informs me that the technician said he can't repair it since the mancraft was shipped from Poland and something else but the technician left a note that they barely understand. They tell me to wait for his call. No one calls back so I call back one week later. They tell me technician has quit and to come and pick up my gun. THE STORY GETS BETTER. Take the hour drive to pick up my gun and rifle is all greasy and dirty, gun totally disassembled, the original mancraft spring is missing, the mancraft piston head is missing, one of the rings broken, and mancraft hose all scratched and probably torn, with the mancraft was another spring that has evidence of being cut. When I ask what had happened I was given the best answer I have received in all my life: The technician quit on us and went to work with the people from groundzero see if you can talk to him. He fucked us up and there is nothing we can do.

I was introduced to Alan and PP Plus through a friend who also took the class here. We did the course on a Wed. We only had 3 people in the class, two had never handled a gun before, one male one female. They both left pretty excited about the experience and shooting pretty well I was actually really impressed with Alans attention to Safety details but also he coached them on marksmenship. The class took a good portion of the day and then we went to the range where Alan had 10 guns of many different calibers and sizes for the class to shoot. NET NET what a great experience. I feel safe and secure with handguns after my time with Alan and Pistol Protection Plus. Really great experience. This is the place to get your concealed carry pistol permit in CT.

We have YET to receive the refund. Also, when Covid has gotten so bad and my wife as a nurse thought it would be best for us to not take the class. I emailed Peter multiple times to ask for a refund (I understand he has a no refund policy) my wife and I thought he would be understanding by this since she is around people with Covid all the time, and we were doing what was best for us and keeping people in the class safe. I to this day still have no received my refund nor have a received a email reply. I have called his office multiple times but I am getting no call back. Very disappointed. Not a place I would recommend for someone to go. I didn't know it would be that hard to see that my wife goes through seeing people with Covid and putting her life on the line, and Peter can't even give us our refund. So sad.

Apparently they were busy with higher than usual volume. After waiting 3 weeks, they finally confirmed shipment.
