Great service both during my HVAC upgrades and post-installation support! Tony and his team did an outstanding job upgrading my 40 yr old HVAC system (2 furnaces & 2 AC units). Additionally they installed a whole house fan (highly recommended) to save on A/C costs during the summer. They provided very a detailed proposal with several options for upgraded units and pricing was competitive with other offers. Their work was outstanding as they sealed off the entire garage during the demo with a negative pressure system to avoid any asbestos contamination. The entire job was completed in less than 3 days start to finish and the quality of work was impeccable. We originally reached out to Tony to fix our old furnace which was on its last legs. A couple of months later, Tony replaced our A/C and furnace with a very high efficiency Carrier furnace and a inverter heat pump 5 ton GREE A/C. My townhouse still had its original furnace from 1970, which was an extremely narrow model crammed into the side of the utility closet. When it died on me three years ago, there were no more furnace models that could fit in such a tight space. TFF was able to make just enough room for a new one by additionally performing the service of removing the water heater next to it and moving it over a couple inches, and also putting in a leak detector and drain pan for safety, which I didn't have. That was back in 2019. Fast forward to last week, and I notice that the furnace they installed wasn't kicking in anymore. After checking the diagnostic light and giving them a call late Friday afternoon, Tony called me back on Saturday. He knew exactly what was wrong and gave me instructions on how to make the fix myself, given that it was relatively simple. My AC was blowing hot air during a heatwave (of course your AC always gives up when you need it). Tony is there for the rescue! TFF installed my system a while ago and I am technically out of warranty but even then they stand behinds of their work. Reliable and trustworthy was all I would ask for during a service call but Tony threw in a big bonus with his unbeatable rate. Even though they were slammed with request, Tony was able to squeeze me in as soon as possible which is super helpful as I have a one year old and he suffered with the heat. Tony always showed up on time as he promised and worked diligently. He explained me in details of the problem I had which was a leaked in the line and had it fixed properly. He insisted putting on shoe covers even when I was ok either way, and the house was exactly like nothing happened. Almost exactly 3 years ago TFF installed a new air conditioner in my house. Fair price and excellent service was what made me select them as the vendor to do the replacement. Fast forward 3 years and right during this terrible heat wave my air conditioning stops working. I call and of course they are very busy but he got back to me the same day (Friday evening) and said he would stop by on Monday to take a look. He discovered that it was drawing too much current on startup and tripping the breaker so he added a capacitor in the unit to help lessen the current draw on startup and that solved the issue. He also cleaned up some of the electrical cutoff panel work that he had inherited from the original air conditioner from 20 years ago. No charge on the repairs. A few months ago, the fuse blew in my furnace while I was switching out my old thermostats with new Ecobee thermostats. I didn't even know what a furnace was at that time. Eventually, I figured out how to replace the fuse myself and the system started working (AC worked). I didn't try turning on the heat at the time since it was still summer. A few days ago, I tried turning on the heat and realized it wasn't working. After spending hours on YouTube and Google, I narrowed it down to the fact the gas wasn't coming out. I noticed the gas valve had an On/Off label but I was dumb. I kept trying to push it in like a button so obviously nothing happened. I took a video and contacted Tony at TFF HVAC. Late at night, he took a look at my video and noticed the gas valve switch was in the OFF position and called me right back. I felt dumb for not catching that the first time. I went back and FLIPPED the switch and the furnace/heat is working again. This Yelp review is to let people know that Tony is a good guy and was very responsive.
