We were having the floor of our garage resurfaced and decided to have the garage door inspected…read moreduring the process while it was empty. We had a new garage door installed about 10 years ago by another company and the Husband said it had been making a grinding noise for quite a while so we called and made an appointment for a "Winter Tune Up." Unbeknownst to us, after a thorough visual inspection for signs of wear, corrosion, loosened hardware, or improper operation, the technician claimed our garage door was not installed correctly in the first place. He commenced to apply a garage door lubricant to appropriate moving components, tighten hardware, adjust the alignment and test system balance for smooth operation. Because our garage is used as a woodturning shop -and wood dust is very bad for garage door's moving parts- he suggested a dust seal which can help prevent gears from stripping or burning out the motor. All in all, it was a quick process from our original phone call to finished appointment. Communication was excellent, as was the customer service. Will highly recommend All About Garage Doors to my neighbors and friends.

I chose to replace the old spring and the broken top panel as well as some hardware he suggested (hinges and track wheels). He found the parts at his local supplier were in stock so almost no wait! Also he did not try to upsell me or anything like that. He was super easy to work with and reworked the mistakes installed by the previous homeowner who did it himself and it was obvious after comparing it to Brandons top notch quality of workmanship. Brandon had to reposition the guide track to be lower and also re-attached the spring bracket to a solid base and not the drywall that barely held it in place previously! I am super happy with everything Brandon and his assistant did for me and at a great price! I would strongly recommend using B&C Industries to anybody in Western Washington County (Hillsboro) instead of those National brands. Great Job Brandon! 5 Stars!

But because this door is original to the house I chose to replace the whole thing. Sent him photos and spring measurements. He came by and gave me lots of options. I selected a light weight door with windows instead of just a spring replacement because of the age of the old door. He uses specific rollers of high quality that helps reduce the noise when opening and closing. The hardest part of the whole process was clearing and cleaning of my garage in front of the door so he can work. The new door paid off, it looks good and with the kids using it to get out bikes or boats frequently over the past 6 months. The door stands strong. Thanks Ken!
