They were provided photos of breaker box, generator and cable. Erick Electric arrived as agreed and completed install. I shared their completed install with master electrician and discovered the install was note completed to industry standards and failed to meet code. Erick Electric had installed a 30 amp transfer box not compatible with twist lock 50 amp cable. They installed a 40 amp breaker switch at lowest position and failed to install a safety Interlock switch to prevent improper power on sequence. This combination of parts was not adequate to properly transmit electrical current from a 13k watt generator. I had to pay a properly licensed electrician to properly redo kit. I refused to allow Erick Electric's apprentice electrician to do any additional work on my home. They only agreed to refund $200 of my $500 payment. I have filed a claim for full refund with Yelp Gauranteed. YG's claim process is not very responsive or informative. !!!DO NOT RECOMMEND ERICK ELECTRIC!!!

I will definitely be calling on him again for projects as they arise. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, my experience with this plumbing company has been extremely disappointing. After…read moreTHREE technician visits, my bathroom issue is still not properly fixed. The first technician replaced a part that apparently did not need to be replaced, and the original problem continued. The second technician made an adjustment that did not resolve the issue. On top of that, the hot/cold water settings were switched. His proposed solution was for me to manually paint stripes to identify which side was hot and which was cold instead of actually correcting the problem. Then a THIRD technician came out and wanted to charge me again to replace yet another part, plus additional labor. He adjusted the water so it no longer comes out cold, but now the temperature basically goes from warm to extremely hot. Once again, the job was not properly completed. My experience has also been inconsistent because each visit involved a different technician, and the level of knowledge and workmanship seemed to vary significantly. After three visits, multiple attempted fixes, and money already spent, my bathroom is STILL leaking and I am left with another problem involving the water temperature. I hired a plumbing company because I expected a professional diagnosis and a complete repair--not repeated visits, different explanations, additional proposed charges, and half-completed work. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. I would rather pay a reputable plumbing company to diagnose and repair the problem correctly the first time than continue paying for attempted fixes that leave me with unresolved issues.

Backstory: We just recently moved into a 20-year-old house in the Houston area and we love the house, but this house has a lot of internal things that still need to be fixed or serviced. Long story short after our service request call last night, the Texas Comfort Systems technicians came out the next morning and quickly diagnosed the problems with our AC unit outside. Apparently, it was the AC capacitor for our downstairs AC unit. After finding the problem, they quoted us a decent price and we felt it was fair and accepted it. On top of this, most people should not be replacing these AC parts themselves, unless they're completed by trained HVAC technicians, like those who work for Texas Comfort Systems. Overall, great service and professionalism! We're back to nice AC indoors. Thank god! The technicians, Stephen and Julio, who came out today were super professional, knowledgeable, kind, courteous, and clearly represented the great customer service of Texas Comfort Systems. Even the lady, Patricia, who we spoke to on the phone last night was great as well. We highly recommend using this company if you need your AC units at your home serviced. Stephen even educated us on a yearly service plan they have. It's clearly a win-win when you call Texas Comfort Systems. Thank you and we will always call this company for our HVAC repairs and servicing.
