He wired up the pool lights to 120v even though they were yellow 12v low voltage wires which you'd think would have been another clue, not to James it wasn't. So obviously he fried the lights and they needed to be repaired which he refused to do, I had to purchase all the new pool lights again myself which cost thousands of dollars. But there was some confusion and mixed messaging from them which caused some concern. That got sorted and techs arrived mid afternoon and diagnosed the problem. Dale got involved and the job was prioritized since it required panel, meter base, and mast replacement - a big job. The crew showed up the next day and coordinated with BC Hydro. It was a long day for them, but, by 5:30 we were back up and running. Very happy with the tech crew -Hannah and Ken - who worked diligently all day and were very pleasant to deal with. And very happy with Dale who recognized the seriousness of the situation, communicated openly with me about options, then prioritized the job. I have built over 10 businesses and homes from the ground up and never have I come across a more incompetent person. Russel could not keep employees and the ones he did send were either severely compromised due to injuries or too hung over ( one fellow even admitted he was feeling sick from his night out at the pub) to work. One employee just walked off the job after screwing up one of the main lighting systems leaving wires dangling and holes in the wall. It took over a month for this issue to be resolved and held up our other contractors by 6 weeks. We are now left with flashing lights that cannot be turned off and keep us awake at all hours of the night. We now have an open case with the review board who is coming to inspect whether we are at risk . My advice find another contractor. It is not worth your aggravation
