I wish I could give them a lower score. An endless loop of call takers who know nothing, cannot transfer to managers and are pretty much useless. What a disgrace. The once very good Telus teams are now uncaring, untrained, unsupported and absolutely abysmal. A big fail. Cannot wait to ditch this now unethical and unprofessional company. read more

They are dishonest and scammer, so you must be careful! I called them to move my service they told me there is no charge for the new camera and installation fees. They told me the fees will be voided but they ended up to charges me $1,028 that's ridiculous! So stay away from their service! read more

We just had a service done by Telus Custom Security (formerly Prices Victoria) Our service Tech Dale did a great job. He was prompt, followed Covid protocols and explained what he was doing and what the problem was. Fast, professional service. Very knowledgeable technician. I have been working with telus for 12 years and since telus bought out prices the services has been garbage. You set up late to closes for your property and they arent being dispatched to the security company till sometime 4 hours past the time i have set for a closing of my property. I am seriously debating switching companies. What horri le unprofessional service i am getting from them. read more

My Non-Profit agency used Telus security for our security needs. Telus has twice, let us down and left us vulnerable. The first time our offices were broken into, Telus called our call list, got no response and so sent out a Patrol person. That person arrived, saw that the back lower window was open with lot's of office supplies on the ground, and responded by CLOSING THE WINDOW AND NOT CALLING POLICE. They never called to follow up with the individuals on our call list and so it wasn't until much later that we were made aware a break-in had occurred. The thieves stole a laptop. At that time I called Telus, gave them more names to call and asked them for their protocol. I was told that when an alarm goes off, they call the call list for the property and if no one can be reached they send out a patrol person. The person who responded to our site decided there was no need to call Police (no further reason was given). The second time we were broken into was two weeks later. Again, the alarm went off (it was 2am) and calls went out to the call list. Receiving no answer Telus DID NOTHING FURTHER. No patrol person was sent out, no Police were called. As a result the thieves stole 3 laptops this time (using a crowbar to break into an interior office). When I called Telus, they told me the dispatcher who received the initial alarm, found the instructions too confusing so decided to do nothing at all. I demanded to speak with a Manager. It took numerous days to speak to someone in the Dispatch department. He told me that Telus would reimburse me for the cost of the stolen laptops and pay for the damage to the interior of the building (totaling approximately $3 - 4,000). I was then contacted by their Investigations. The tone from Telus changed abruptly when I was informed they would review the contract, investigate and get back to me within 60 to 90 days. The total amount they were willing to commit to for reimbursement was $500! I was then directed to submit receipts, police reports and pictures. Telus is disinterested in providing satisfactory customer service and seemingly even more disinterested in providing actual security. They are very interested, however, in taking your money and accepting to responsibility for their lack of response to security breaches. We have now given our business to a local security company. read more

Unbelievable and extremely frustrating service in Montreal, not TORONTO. ZERO STARS would truly be the level of customer satisfaction for TELUS/ADT. Nowhere to send official complaint in Canada. Since the beginning of this year, had problems with the installation of cameras. Various technicians came and went; had to be on site and this occurred 8 times until today. One camera still not functioning properly. Called many times; call centres across Canada and overseas took calls but no follow-up as part pending after over a month since last visit. Extremely aggravating, not to mention a huge waste of my time and energy. Now, they want to charge for the new camera, and I refused as the other cameras they have installed were defective and have POOR night vision. This has been going on for 8 months. I do not recommend TELUS HOME SECURITY. read more

If there was a no star option I would have chosen it. I have had 3 installation visits from Telus for home security. Two of those days the person spent hours here. They still have not installed my security system because obviously they do not know what they are doing. No one is contacting me about when they will be back to finish the job. This has been going on for 3 months! Don't ever hire Telus. They suck. I have already paid over $600 for this but I am still going to hire another company and never have anything to do with Telus again. read more

bad place to do business. horrible install team very new.. No clue what they are doing really. they will always try and sell u an upgrade system even if u don't need it. they are very pricy compared to there competition the staff are not happy people been with them 3 years always grumpy on the phone no matter who u talk to even if they call u because your alarm is going off. they need to learn so customer service skills bad. read more
