I hired Anna to clean a residential unit back in October. We expected that she would be the one…read morecompleting the service and would be sticking to the quote provided. On the day of the cleaning, someone not associated with Anna's business arrived to complete the clean which was never communicated with us. The person who arrived was unkind, clearly bothered by being there, and left within the hour of arrival with no communication to any of us. She returned the following day to complete the clean, still rather rude, and did very little to actually clean the space. It is a jr. 1 bedroom, smaller than the size of an average studio apartment. Anna then told us that the person she "contracted out to" wanted to charge her $100 an hour for the clean and claimed to have been there for two full days of work. Over the course of the month we were sent multiple sporadic communications and invoices as high as thousands of dollars for a job that was never completed and done outside of what we agreed to. When I stepped in to take over communication and get the situation cleared up, I set an appointment to speak with Anna. She missed the phone appointment, despite texting with us earlier in that day. I attempted contact with her again yesterday, and finally after multiple texts and a call was able to get her on the phone to discuss the situation. We negotiated the invoice down to the hours truly worked at the quote we agreed on; despite the job not being done I agreed to pay to end the matter. This finally occurred at the end of my day yesterday. I then find that she called me outside of work hours, called my employee, and threatened to add a late fee if the invoice is not paid today. An invoice that had just been sent the night prior at end of day. I find Anna's actions and communication to be deeply unprofessional. I cannot recommend her services, and will not be working with her again in the future.

After a small kerfuffle with a canceled appointment due to a tech's vehicle breaking down, the owner of Neat Nix himself came to make sure the job was done the next business day. The whole crew went above and beyond what my wife or I expected as a level of service. We were so pleased with the quality of the work that they had done that we took them up on their offer to clean our air-ducts and furnace system, during a later-scheduled appointment Unfortunately because our furnace Isn't a standard size, the filters that the crew had on hand, the day of the appointment, didn't fit, so the owner purchased a range of sizes, to try to get the best fit for us. The best of the three didn't really fit very well (but MUCH better than the one the previous company had jammed inside our furnace, like a taco...) So the owner of Neat Nix came by the house unannounced, the next day, with a package of the correct filters for our furnace; we could not have been more surprised and delighted with the level of service, commitment to quality and level of professionalism Neat Nix gave to our family. My carpets, which had gotten pretty nasty, are now spotless and smell great. Beyond the actual cleaning, he and his assistant Gary are totally professional and very friendly. These are people that you will feel comfortable having in your home. Scheduling was easy and its clear that he cares about his customer's time. Not only is he punctual, but he is finished when (or before) he says that he will be. And, it goes without saying that he honors his estimates. The downside is that this sets a standard that most other service providers won't live up to! Believe all the five star reviews -- Nick is terrific!
