The salesperson was not pushy and the process did not take long - especially compared with other dealers. Even thought it was a few years old, they washed and vacuumed it and filled the tank with gas. Class act all the way!

When we got there the first thing we told the salesman was we were in the market for a new or used vehicle in about 3 months or so. He asked me where I worked and I told him I worked at a cooking oil process facility and a printing company. I intentionally neglected to mention that I worked at a Toyota Mazda dealership for 3 years and my brother-in-law was also used car salesman for 15 years. I know the ins-and-outs of the used car business but I didn't want him to know that. First we took a new vehicle out for a test drive it was a Mitsubishi Outlander. And we told him that we were also interested in a Toyota RAV4. And he had a used one on the lot and we took it out for a test drive. That's when my wife decided that she liked the Toyota RAV4. So when we got back he asked us about our car that we had. It was a 2006 Ford Focus we've had since new. I told him it was approaching 100,000 miles and that's when he said "once a car hit 100,000 miles the value droppes dramatically". I was wondering what BS line he was going to give us to screw us out of money on a trade in. That line goes back to the mid-1990s. So we went test drove a new Toyota RAV4. And we eventually bought a 2015 RAV4 out of town. Low miles great price. I think people are sick and tired of the old ways of buying a vehicle and especially with the trade in BS they tell you so they won't give you much money on a trade in.

Both of them did a wonderful job of working to find ways to meet me where I was at and match what they had to me, not convince me to take on something they thought I needed. I never even felt like I was being sold to buy something but rather they did indeed have what it was I came in to find and buy already. Rich worked with me tirelessly to understand what my situation was, needs, wants, requirements, limits, preferences, etc. This really made me feel valued and understood as a car shopper with unique needs for how a car fits me as a person and the lifestyle I sought to match it. I knew what I wanted when I came in so this did help him identify my car specs. I also already owned a car by this dealer from another location for 4 years as is so the reputation and brand already sat well with me as it was. But even so, Rich really took the time, made the effort, and went the extra small steps to work with me on price, trade, discounts, APR, as well as simply pointing out factors of the car I sought out that matched my unique needs and wants in a new Hyundai vehicle. Although I was planning to hold for 2-3 months before trading in my previous Hyundai for a new model and make, Rich ended up making me an offer I simply could not possibly refuse (after my pass on 2 prior offers!). His candor, professionalism, concerns for my needs really won me over. From initial car questioning to test drive to the next day's follow up, he had my interest in mind first, not his of just making a sale. Jimmy then continued this support and care with paperwork and final sale specs making super clear all details, terms, numbers, and specs of the payments, coverage, warranties, etc. I never felt intimidated or burdened or confused by an onslaught of papers and terms but rather guided slowly through the process. I could ask questions freely, openly, and easily with clear answers given at any point. I liked not feeling pressured, rushed, or confused about what was happening at any point. Between Rich and Jimmy, I felt I got service to my need to get a car I wanted, how I wanted it, not sold a car to meet a quota alone. That is a big distinction. I would recommend anyone seeking a Hyundai vehicle to come here and work with Rich to walk away with THE car you desire at the best possible deal and benefit to you. I am now the very proud owner of a new 2021 Hyundai 2021 venue with no regrets of buying months earlier than planned.

Never do business with this company they are real life liars they don't care about the customers and they won't try to work with you under any circumstances.

Last Saturday my daughters and I were traveling back to San Angelo from San Antonio when I learned…read morethe light bulb which powered my left turn signal light in the front of the vehicle was out. Thankfully, the rear light worked but it was blinking a million times a second which warned me that it was next to fail. I thankfully and prayerfully made it home safe and called Mitchell Toyota yesterday (Monday) to see if they had any appointments to get my light fixed. The Customer Service Associate told me to come in after 1:30 p.m. and I was seen as soon as I arrived. I went to the Parts Department and was helped by a very pleasant Associate who gave me a "Military Discount" on the bulb I needed. What's more, Toyota DID NOT charge for the Labor of installing the bulb (Fist Pump! And Fist Pump Again!) I waited about 30 minutes in the Waiting Room after paying for my bulb, but was very happy to learn my vehicle was ready. While I have read the previous reviews, I am glad to report my experience was everything that I have come to expect of Toyota after having owned one for almost 20 years. While in San Angelo, I definitely plan to come back to this location for my automotive needs. Until the next bulb blows ~

Called this dealership on Tuesday to set up an appointment to have my 2022 Toyota Tundra serviced…read more The lady at the service desk spoke to me in a manner unbecoming a business who actually NEEDS all the business they can get. She sounded irritated and as if I interrupted her - perhaps she was busy on her FB page - not sure - but very unfriendly! I then called the front desk/reception and again spoke to someone NOT TOO friendly, but also not rude. I asked to speak to the GM - was then told he was in a meeting. I asked WHO he was, to which she at first sounded reluctant to give his name - then after asking again - she said it was "Sean". I asked her to please ask him to call me - she said she would give him the message. Today is Friday, May 20th, and NO call has come from "Sean" - the GM! As a business owner for many years, I am amazed how businesses like this are still in business! Is it ONLY about selling new vehicles (but then) they even suck at that! I went to them over a year ago looking at trading my 2018 GMC with very low mileage, and buying a Toyota Tacoma (I ended up buying a BRAND NEW one from Brunner Toyota in Brownwood - which means they lost that deal) - I was told by the "salesman" that he cannot give me a price on my GMC and that he needs to speak to his manager and that they will get back to me! It has been over a year, and I still have not received that call! Bet you IF I ran my business like this, I would not be in business, let alone employ people who do not know HOW to speak to potential customers! I will now take my vehicle to Abilene to get serviced - yet another loss for this business! It seems that they THINK they are doing us a favor by "servicing" our vehicles - forgetting they are getting PAID to do it! Really, is this where we are heading as a society?

2/2026 we took our Bronco in for service, tire rotations and oil change as it was time for service…read more We'd only been in San Angelo 3 weeks since moving from the Great Lakes, Michigan. I easily made the appointment online and received my email confirmation. The day of service was light rain and I used map quest to find the dealership. The young lady service advisor checked me in and I waited in the customer lounge. My wait time was normal compared to other dealership service centers across the country about 45 minutes. The service team members were all friendly and the lounge area nice and clean with a television, coffee, soda and snacks for your selection, pretty much the norm. After service they pulled my Bronco into the service garage and quickly got me checked out and on my way. A few miles away on my way home I was waiting to make a left turn onto Sherwood Way. The light turned green, my phone was ringing so I answered (yes hands free) and it was the young lady service advisor. She was in panic mode asking me to quickly come back because the service technician forgot to put the filter on and the wheel lock. Then I started to panic about not having an oil filter or wheel locks. Keep in mind I'm not a mechanic and I'm so thankful we have people who like that sorta thing, it's just not me. I quickly made a U-turn the first chance I got and returned to the service garage. I checked back in with the same service advisor and she was very apologetic and let the technician know I had returned. He quickly arrived with the AIR FILTER and wheel lock in hands and put them back on. Why he had the AIR FILTER I don't know because I didn't request an air filter replacement. Anyway, I was so relieved it wasn't the missing oil filter. We all get busy with work and life and we do forget things so I'm good with the outcome. Maybe they will offer me a complimentary air filter or something my next visit. Minus one star is better than minus 3 or 4 stars right? I received 2 emails from the dealership asking me to please review my recent visit so here it is.
