The sales department did a great job and Curtis was very honest and friendly. The service department will steal your hubcaps, and then tell you they don't have them afterwords if they do any tire work. Maybe they sell them on Ebay or something. Its a small thing, but super annoying. read more

Beware of their service department. They will find any way possible not to honor a warranty. Had a one year old new Tahoe with less than 10,000 miles when I noticed the front tires were bald. The front end was obviously out of alignment (and no...it wasn't caused by any damage). They refused to cover the alignment and/or pro rate the tires. Claimed we were just over the mileage for such service. I could cite other incidents as well. read more

Every time I need my car worked on, I have a wonderful experience. There have been times that issues have had to be investigated and it has taken extra time. They always try to provide a loaner vehicle if it is available. Luke, the service manager, is friendly and goes above and beyond to take care of his customers. My husband was told by the technician that the service manager was the one that told him that we were no longer able to come to that dealership because of a bad review, they think my husband left. My Review is on the used car sales of this dealership so I do not know how the rest of the place works. Do not trust them, I knew better but after the 4hr drive I was complacent and I am paying for it now. I was giving the inspection report and all that was done was an alignment and new wiper blades. and they said noting was wrong with the truck. Well their mechanics are either incompetent, lazy, or just straight up liars. I have a door that will not lock or unlock and it is not a simple actuator the wires are dead, my front and rear camera are inoperable and fuse and circuit are good so that aims toward the body control module, A/C does not work but that was tested before we signed papers but it was tested it on a cold day and their mechanics could have refilled it just before we got there, There was an A/C code on the computer which i picked up with my laptop but not the scanner I took with me, I need to rebuild the front end due to excessive wobble and bump steer so new tie rods and alignment at least and possibly new ball joints, sunroof no longer works, and the computer needs a complete rewrite from the dealership. The sales lady, Shelby I believe was nice and not over pressuring, but I cannot say if she knew about the issues with the truck before hand or not. But I suspect the Finance manager knew as he specifically stated that I should buy the extended warranty as sunroof repairs are in the thousands. Overall I suggest not using this place unless you are local and can take it to a ford dealership for full diagnostic before purchasing. I am really regretting my purchase but ultimately it was my fault for not checking the truck thoroughly. So until most of the issues get repaired the truck is parked and I drive my 1992 Chevy. read more

The service department at GMC is definitely a 5 star operation! The people there are very helpful and knowledgeable. I have taken my Acadia in for regular oil changes and they always ask if there is anything else to check while the car is there and they always rotate the tires as well. I had to take it in once for a problem with the rear a/c. They got it fixed; however, it then developed a noise in the fan. I took it right back in; they took care of that issue without delay and were apologetic that I had to come back in. I would especially like to recognize Gwen, who goes beyond in customer satisfaction, and Micheal, who has shuttled me back two times now to get my car after being serviced. He is very friendly, easy to visit with while driving to the dealership. Thank you all for the service you provide! read more

I'm going in for a simple fix and when I needed photos for insurance claim they refused and when I got my truck back after they said they disconnected everything that you had repaired there was more stuff missing on my truck before it went in. And when I called the police and got them involve all they want to do is say they repaired everything and I refuse to pay but that wasn't the whole story in their line and they were a few service even when I had money so now you're just picky on who they want to serve and if you got money they will serve you and do everything for you but if you don't going to kick you out. read more

The first thing I have to mention is that Mike is a great salesman! He is the ONLY reason Mitchell Buick GMC is receiving 2 stars. The service department and sales department were great and the problems at this dealership stem from management. Management is quick on promises and even quicker to blame everyone on their staff for any issues encountered. Russell in particular is very arrogant and needs to learn that customer satisfaction is the most important way to guarantee repetitive business. When trying to finalize the deal, management tried to add fees that were already negotiated before we stepped into the finance office. These "negotiations" were blamed on the sales staff (who wasn't present the day of signing paperwork) when we confronted Russell about them and eventually he agreed. Keep in mind the sales staff cannot make any decisions or commitments without management's approval. Immediately after we left the dealership, we noticed a minor maintenance issue and were advised by the sales staff to bring the vehicle back in the first 10 days. This led to another issue which involved management only fixing half of the issue and then insisting we pay for it. All of this was of course relayed via the service staff who needed management approval to continue the work. When we went into the dealership and spoke with Russell again face-to-face, he continued to blame the problems on the staff and agreed to order a new part and would have the vehicle ready in a few days. To my surprise, the vehicle was ready the next day and was due to them miraculously finding a replacement part on the lot and ready to go (the replacement part came from another used vehicle, so the part is definitely not new as promised). Bottom line is this dealership is quick to make promises and severely lacks on follow through. My recommendation is to scout the area and work with a dealership more inclined to ensure customer satisfaction rather than a quick buck. In the end, you are the one that has to walk away satisfied and happy with your decision and I will never refer any business to this dealership. read more

Had a line fail on my transmission at the connection, I say it's a faulty line that had been crimped too hard when being made. Dealership says when they diagnosed it said I hit something. I called BS on it and showed them they were wrong and there was no possible way it could have been "hit". Then I was told that it didn't matter because it is out of warranty, I called BS again and told them it's part of the power train, I was wrong, cooler lines are not covered under the 100 thousand mile power train warranty. I told them that I had bought the extended bumper to bumper warranty, once again nope not covered. So $532.64 to fill the transmission and replace the line guess I learned my lesson. On a side note had I driven the truck until the transmission grenades it would have been covered, all but the line I'm informed. Very dissatisfied and will be contacting GM Customer service. I have driven 5 GM vehicles since I was a kid , bought 3 from this dealership, and this is the first time I have been disappointed and let down by a GM product. read more

This place deserves zero stars and I hope it gets shutdown one day sooner than later. Dropped my car off for a recall fix got my car back with damaged headlights that I put on the vehicle recently. Spoke with some clown named Luke that said they wouldn't do anything to fix them he offered no resolution and was a complete jackass, can't believe he is qualified to manage his dad must own the place. Then another bum approaches me claiming to be the owner though I was told the owner was not in town, so my guess is he was just a life finance worker but he's pointing his finger at me telling me I'm in trouble and I'm a dumbass and that I can't afford to be in his store (mind you I own three vehicles and a house) but apparently I'm poor so they say their calling the cops so of course I'm sticking around for that because well I would hate for them to lie which Luke's dumbass attempted when they arrived. I recorded him trying to wipe the smuges off of my vehicle by the way. Unfortunately every time I've gone there I've had a problem which is why I stopped unless of course there is a recall. Still having issues with my 2017 Enclave. It's a year now. To Mitchell Buick it matters not you title or standing in the community. They will not help you resolve the problem. We pulled our 2009 Yukon from Houston behind our RV for a long weekend event in San Angelo. When I disconnected the Yukon from the RV I failed to follow the the proper procedure and the transfer case would not shift back into gear. After trying everything including disconnecting the battery hoping it would reset we had it towed to Mitchell Buick GMC late Thursday evening after hours. I was there the next morning at 745am about 15 minutes after the service department opened and Chad had already started entering my information into their system. I told him what had happened and that we were from out of town and really needed to leave to return home Monday. Chad said he would work it into the shop to at least get it diagnosed that morning. We were at the event about 3 hours later when Chad called and said our vehicle was ready to pick up. Chad told me the technician cleared the codes and reestablished communication between modules and it was working as it should and nothing more was wrong. I highly recommend Mitchell Buick GMC as being knowledgeable, clean, friendly, and honest. read more

I usually don't put stuff like this on here, but this really frustrates me. I called Mitchell Buick because my service air bags light came on in our family car the service guy that answered the phone was very nice and helpful. He told me that if I had five mins he could check the code and see what's going on. I pull in and Mario plugs in the code checker and then some other guy named Randy Riggins takes over. I asked him if the light had anything to do with the recall that was done on the air bags right after I bought it and he wasn't very knowledgeable nor helpful. All he could tell me was the part numbers were different from the recall parts number. I then asked him if the airbags were functioning and he couldn't give me an answer without "putting my car in front of a tech." I then asked him why then I was told they could tell me about this in five mins and he was rude and short with me because his computer couldn't give him an answer so I asked to speak to his supervisor. It took him about 15 mins to show back up with Luke Jones. I honestly have never met a more unpleasant and unprofessional person that is supposed to make you feel reassured that your problems could be addressed. He walked in the office with a chip on his shoulder. I admit I was pretty furious at this point but this guy was a real piece of work. I told him all I need to know is if my airbags would work if my vehicle happened to be in an accident and all he kept repeating was make an appointment and we will run a diagnostic, very condescending. I then told him I would not be making an appointment or ever doing business with them again. His response was "good." I walked out of the service area and looked back to give him a death stare, were I see a man who's title is the parts and service director waving at me like a deranged clown. I've bought two vehicles from them and have recommended them to several friends, but no more. What has happened to customer service? I really hate that my salesman will be the one hurt by this, but the two I named in this are to blame. read more

I took my car in last Friday for a broken interior door handle. I was told the part would need to be ordered and I would have to pay in advance. No problem, I paid but was then told they could not even estimate when the part would arrive. I called yesterday, Thursday, to check and was told the part had just arrived. I scheduled an appointment for this morning and brought my car in to have repair completed. While I was waiting a man sitting in the waiting area made a comment that they usually come in and tell you that they don't have the right part. Not 10 minutes later Jesse came in and said he had 'bad news' they did not have the correct part. They still can't tell me when the correct part will arrive even though he kept mentioning Fed-ex. Fed-ex has tracking numbers. I feel like they have not ordered the part. Barely got an apology. Offered nothing to make this right. Even though I was there for over 40 minutes waiting before I was made aware of this. I made a comment about this being poor customer service and received an excuse in response. I feel like because I drive an older car (2008) and they already have my money, they really don't care. read more
