He was not forceful and was a big help in my purchase process and I appreciate his assistance. Every thing went well till I was handed off to the financial manager. The financial manager lied to be, saying that the bank required me to purchase Gap insurance. I advised him that I already had it with my insurance company and he said that would not work. They required me to purchase what they had to offer. Comparing the two policies, my savings with my insurance company would be about 300 for the life of the loan. The signing process went quick and no time to read, he did not even give me a copy of what I signed. Said that it would be a while for him to make copies. Made it sound like hours, and said they would send me copies. I got the paperwork today and read it. The Gap insurance page says that it is not required to get the loan from the bank. Called and talked with the bank and the guy laughed when I told him what the Financial Manger said. I called to discuss it, and the dealership said the lady who handles the cancelations works between 8-5. I do not like the fact that I was lied to and forced to purchase something that I did not need or want since I already pay for it at a much better rate. While the contract says it can be canceled within ten days, it is the fact that I was lied to. He took my positive experience and turned it into a bad experience. The salesman went out of his way to help, this guy should of had a can of Vaseline on his desk. I would buy from Daniel again, but I will not do so if this is the only guy who can sign the paperwork. A true used-car salesman mentality. If he is the only one who can close the deals, then I would say stay away. At least do not trust him.

My emergency is not theirs. I had another issue I wanted diagnosed, but they wanted $1400 just to do a compression test and leak down. I called around and got quoted $800 for a couple different shops, so I declined and was told they'd call the next day by 1pm for update on the recall parts. Since I declined it, Eddy the service writer I've been dealing, with has been acting like I am the annoyance for calling despite them telling me to call if I haven't heard from them. I haven't been able to get ahold of them. Finally do, Eddy says he's going to check if there's an update on the parts. Puts me on hold for 20 minutes and then hangs up on me without saying a word. I call back, no answer. Call again, Eddy answers with "christ" and a loud sigh. I just want an ETA on how long it'll be, days, weeks, months? They said the parts are hard to find so who knows what the timeline is. Maybe he thought I'd get impatient and give up calling? I talked to Bryan once and he was nice, so it may not be all of the service department. Benefit of the doubt, maybe he's having a bad day/week, but let's work on the professionalism. My car has been down for 2 months yet I'm not taking it out on him or anyone else. It is what it is. I did read the other reviews, there seems to be a common issue here. Hopefully management can put a fire in their pants and get them moving in the right direction. This has solidified my hate for dealerships, its unfortunate I had to use them for recalls. Hopefully the last time. Update: They originally told me a few days. It's been 1.5 weeks without any communication. Called back, eddie said he'd call back in the morning when he finds out. I asked if he wanted me to call around 1pm to give them time, he declines and says he WILL call me in the morning. He never calls me, so I call before the end of the day. Another advisor answers, eddie tells her the parts aren't in yet. I ask her about some note eddie mentioned about not being able to install one of the recalls he was supposed to update me on, she says one moment and i get transferred. Eddie sent me to voicemail immediately, despite the other advisor just talking to him. Why have a job where you have to communicate with customers then absolutely refuse to do so? I wasn't going to post a review but this is annoying me. They still have my vehicle, I still don't know anything about the note about not being able to install a part, and eddie still refuses to communicate. Update again: Still difficult to get ahold of Eddie. I've now talked to Bryan and Myles more than Eddie. Myles said he's going to find out and call me back, will update then.

Last Saturday my daughters and I were traveling back to San Angelo from San Antonio when I learned…read morethe light bulb which powered my left turn signal light in the front of the vehicle was out. Thankfully, the rear light worked but it was blinking a million times a second which warned me that it was next to fail. I thankfully and prayerfully made it home safe and called Mitchell Toyota yesterday (Monday) to see if they had any appointments to get my light fixed. The Customer Service Associate told me to come in after 1:30 p.m. and I was seen as soon as I arrived. I went to the Parts Department and was helped by a very pleasant Associate who gave me a "Military Discount" on the bulb I needed. What's more, Toyota DID NOT charge for the Labor of installing the bulb (Fist Pump! And Fist Pump Again!) I waited about 30 minutes in the Waiting Room after paying for my bulb, but was very happy to learn my vehicle was ready. While I have read the previous reviews, I am glad to report my experience was everything that I have come to expect of Toyota after having owned one for almost 20 years. While in San Angelo, I definitely plan to come back to this location for my automotive needs. Until the next bulb blows ~

She sounded irritated and as if I interrupted her - perhaps she was busy on her FB page - not sure - but very unfriendly! I then called the front desk/reception and again spoke to someone NOT TOO friendly, but also not rude. I asked to speak to the GM - was then told he was in a meeting. I asked WHO he was, to which she at first sounded reluctant to give his name - then after asking again - she said it was "Sean". I asked her to please ask him to call me - she said she would give him the message. Today is Friday, May 20th, and NO call has come from "Sean" - the GM! As a business owner for many years, I am amazed how businesses like this are still in business! Is it ONLY about selling new vehicles (but then) they even suck at that! I went to them over a year ago looking at trading my 2018 GMC with very low mileage, and buying a Toyota Tacoma (I ended up buying a BRAND NEW one from Brunner Toyota in Brownwood - which means they lost that deal) - I was told by the "salesman" that he cannot give me a price on my GMC and that he needs to speak to his manager and that they will get back to me! It has been over a year, and I still have not received that call! Bet you IF I ran my business like this, I would not be in business, let alone employ people who do not know HOW to speak to potential customers! I will now take my vehicle to Abilene to get serviced - yet another loss for this business! It seems that they THINK they are doing us a favor by "servicing" our vehicles - forgetting they are getting PAID to do it! Really, is this where we are heading as a society?

We returned and spoke to the salesman, who spoke to management and we were told they would do nothing about it because it is 4000 miles out of the warranty they offer. They said we should have bought the warranty that was offered to us when we purchased the vehicle but none were offered. We paid $21,000.00 for a vehicle that needs $2000.00 of maintenance done on it 2 days after purchase. If you purchase from here take the vehicle to your own mechanic first. This place is a joke and I'll make sure everyone I know hears about this.

Buyer beware. I love…read moremy Kia. I wish I could say the same about the experience of buying it from here. Here is a bit of advice: When you say "no add-ons," read every line of the paperwork they put in front of you. I found dealership products included in the initial paperwork despite making my wishes clear. When you're told "zero down," check exactly how that number was reached and which rebates or incentives are being applied. If your new vehicle is being transferred from another dealership, ask beforehand whether it will be transported or driven. Better yet, ask for documentation of the mileage before and after the transfer. Mine was driven nearly 300 miles from Amarillo to San Angelo without that being disclosed to me beforehand. Most importantly, check the physical odometer against the Odometer Disclosure Statement before signing. My executed disclosure stated 15 miles. The dealership later confirmed the vehicle had approximately 332 miles when I took possession. I served this country for over a decade. I don't expect special treatment because of that. I do expect transparency and accuracy when I'm signing a major financial contract. Love the Kia. The buying experience is another story.

Prices are drastically different, and customer service is condescending and often opportunistic with silly "inspection fees." Then there are the complete rip-offs that lack diagnostic abilities and should not be in business. I spoke with Jesse, who is honest, knows his business well, and doesn't need to resort to price gouging or surprise inspection fees. They repaired the car quickly and consulted with me before costing me a penny. Jesse gave me reasonable options and stood by his quote. He gave me an excellent detailed quote for repairs I will also need in the future. I'll never take my car to any other shop in West Texas.
