They didn't have any clue about the active air damper, so they removed it causing check engine light to come on. They cut wires causing sensor/camera/calibration issues and then blamed "someone else before us", even though the cut wires were never brought to our attention by them. After multiple trips and hours back and forth to them, they just reinstalled the factory bumper (with bolts missing) and left us with calibration issues that we had to pay to get fixed ourselves, after they refused to accept responsibility. This was a tester for our family, we were unsure if we wanted to buy an RV this year or not. Well, these guys made it so easy we will be RV more often, but why buy when these guys make it a breeze. The only response we ever got from one is they charged our credit card $3500.00 without confirming the reservation. Oh, and by the way, we were leaving on Thursday and Tuesday is when we finally reached out to American Dream Vacation. We put in an online request and within 30 minutes we had received a text letting us know the RV we were inquiring about was already taken. But sent us two other options within that next text. Two of the windows on the RV literally fell onto the roadway which we were traveling. They tried to blame us for the windows falling out!!! WTF Below is the full list of issues we had with the RV: - When we left Austin the glass window fell out on bedroom window onto the roadway - On our way back to Austin, we lost a second window on the dining slide out onto the roadway - Air conditioner not working in main room, E4 error code - 24/7 support not available, voicemail box full. - Roadside assistance said they couldn't help us with any of the problems - 7' broken wood board on slideout, fell and almost hit daughter in the head - The gauge on the freshwater tank doesn't work so can't tell if there's any water or not. Only discovered on the 3rd day the tank was full of water - Water fill hose leaking at connection, spraying water all over. We couldn't use the camp site water because of issue. - Hot water doesn't work on kitchen faucet - Back up camera not working - Various windows/mechanisms broken and taped on outside with shipping tape - Broken screen door handle - No key for outside storage locks - Leg on Queen bed is loose/broken - Door on bedroom doesn't stay closed or latch - Window shade in bedroom is broken - Right rear view mirror very loose - Kitchen drawers won't stay set - Slide out panel controls are reverse - Check engine light was on the whole trip. Original review date: 05/02/2020…read more Sent my wife down there with my Touareg TDI (Diesel equipped SUV) with a factory tow rating of 7700 lbs to pick up a trailer so that we can move 2 queen beds and a dresser and the associated framing of the beds. Total weight should be under 4000 lbs with the trailer. This particular tow package from VW allows for weight distribution if necessary. It's in the manual and on the factory tow hitch sticker. The gentlemen told my wife that he "doesn't have anything" to rent since the Touareg has a "short wheelbase". The wife leaves and calls me. I tell her to turn around and go back. I tell that same gentleman (via phone call) that this vehicle is rated to tow a maximum of 7700 lbs from the factory and that it is a diesel equipped vehicle which enables the higher tow capability. He tells me that he "HAS NOTHING for that wheelbase." I ask him "So, you don't have any 6 footers, 8 footers, 10, footers as it sounds like you don't have 14 or 16 footers in stock?" He replies (via phone): "No, I have nothing at all. Have a good day". He hands the phone back to my wife and she get back into the Touareg. I ask her to snap a photo or two of everything he has on the lot at the time she leaves. She does. Attached to this review are the trailers that he "Doesn't have in stock" or "The wheelbase is too short"... I have in the past (going back to 2007), have showed up with trucks shorter than my Touareg, longer than my Touareg and the same size as my Touareg. No issues renting back then.....I guess this guy knows more than VW, the dealership, and me....but I suspect if I show up with the F450, I might get either a "that's too big of a truck for the trailer" or "Sure I will rent to you". This is not my first time at this business nor do I appreciate being lied to by this business. Guess this guy doesn't want to rent to anyone who doesn't have a dedicated HD truck or a truck that "looks like it will tow his trailers". Guess this will be the last time that I take any vehicle over to him to rent one of his trailers. For reference, VW (the manufacturer) does state that these vehicles can easily tow 12 foot trailers but do NOT recommend trailers beyond 24 feet so long as the tongue weight, total weight and load is all under the limit and properly distributed. To the owner, do not bother trying to talk you way out of this ....I know from speaking with your spouse on the phone prior to sending my wife over that you had some things going on, hence the limited hours. Understand and respect the situation. I don't respect the lies or deception.
