The items feel modern and the kind of place where you find pieces you will likely not find anywhere else. The space itself is bright and well organized, making it easy to peruse the store. Today, I was captivated by the crepe paper floral and window designs...quite unusual, in a good way. While there were three sales associates in store, no one independently offered to show me any items or ask me what I was looking for. When inquired about a couple of pieces of jewelry, one sales associate did show me the pieces. The store inventory tends to be on the higher end pricing side. With that said the pieces appear to be of high quality and unique. Kick Pleat appears to be a boutique for shoppers who enjoy fashion and appreciate carefully curated pieces. They used to have a sale rack which was fun to browse through for good deals now they don't have it anymore. They also had a rack for returns that perhaps weren't offered in store and only on line. That too is gone. It seems they try and direct more sales to the app or website instead of a store. However it's nice to be able to try on and see the merchandise in person since their sizing is all over the place. It's a hassle to order on line and then the size is unsuitable or the quality is cheap. The staff is standoffish and not super eager to assist in making sales. I'm a solo shopper anyway and don't need others to make decisions for me on the merchandise. I'm familiar with what type of products FP has. It's right across the street from Whole Foods and has plenty of parking.

Good day, Wanted to…read morereach out and share my experience on a release by Sneaker Politics. There was an Air Max 95 Bandana Release on Saturday, during SXSW on 3/14. I got to the store at 9:30am and was greeted by a gentleman (smaller black guy with shades), who gave me the details of how the release was going to work. He granted me a wristband that had #3 on it. Door opened at 11 and majority of people got wristbands and lined up. Everyone lined up according to their numbers on their wristbands. With me being #3, I entered the store and bought the releases. I understand that it's a release, so I do understand one per person. When I walked out there was a Hispanic male outside who worked with the store giving out wristbands. I wanted to get my daughter a pair, so I asked could I get back in line grab another. The line was really long. I grabbed another wristband and was #76. I was told from that Hispanic male that o could get another but I had to go to the back of the line, which is what I did. I waited and waited until my turn. The line grew longer behind me. When I reached the registered, the same gentleman (black guy with braids) who checked me out the first time said I couldn't get about pair until everyone got a pair. He said if I wanted another pair then I needed to get out the store and wait back in line (which is what I did the second time and was #76). I showed him my green #76 wristband and he rudely said i needed to get back in line again to get another pair. I was not trying to argue, so I told him I'd do that but this was wrong. I was disappointed. The black guy in braids stated that he was the manager and there was nothing I could do to get another pair right then and there. I told him the guy with the wristbands said I couldn't get back in line. He said "the guy outside with the wristbands is a part time guy who doesn't matter to the store." He's not the manager, I am the guy to make the decisions." He was very rude! I walked out and got back in line AGAIN! When I got back in line, there were others who had got back in line who were in front of me and waited twice while it was my third time to wait in line for a 2nd pair. The line was long. A few guys had bags in front of me. Just made me feel upset and targeted. The line moved and I was now one guy away from the register. The guy in front of me also had a bag and pair in his hand that he bought earlier. But he didn't wait 3 times like me. When it was my turn, I told the managers in braids, "am I good now because I waited." He laughed and said he was the manager again. He gave me a speech about how he makes the calls and that I got the pair I needed. He said, "you got the pair you needed, right?" Very rude, while laughing, and it felt like he was really making fun of me. He then used profanity and mentioned that he needed to make his living. "You're not going to fucking stop me from making my money, you got your pair didn't you?" I didn't say anything, then I kindly mentioned I'm not going to argue, I just want to make a purchase and leave. He gave me my pair and checked me out. I kindly reached over to shake his hand or give him a dap. He laughed at me and didn't bother shaking my hand, so that's when I left. My experience with Sneaker Politics was very disappointing. All the other employees were great until I reached that gentleman. Very unprofessional, laughed at me, used profanity, and I'm sure he didn't have that conversation like that with other customers. I felt dumb and targeted but thankful I got me and my daughter a pair!

In my quest for a perfect fitting suit, finding a matching suit has been all but impossible. I've…read moreworked with stylists, tried everything from mid-range to designer brands, and paid through the nose for alterations to make things look halfway decent with relatively limited success. When I saw the ad for INDOCHINO, it honestly sounded too good to be true, but I decided to give it a chance. After all, I've tried just about everything else I could find in a store besides custom-made garments! I made an appointment online and showed up for my appointment with a few ideas already in mind after looking through the fabric options online. My stylist did a great job of reviewing the fabrics with me and offering suggestions based on the weight of the materials and how they drape to help me narrow down my choices and select suits in the colors I wanted. While the online selection is nice to look at, being able to see the fabrics in person and touch them absolutely changed my opinion on a few fabrics I was initially considering. After selecting the fabric colors, it was a step-by-step process of picking everything from the buttons and pockets to a lining and options for monograms. For the jacket, this included the following: canvas type, lapels, chest pocket, number of buttons, button color, pockets, vents, lining, monogram, sleeve buttonholes, stitching options, collar felt color, buttonhole thread color, and adding an additional waist pocket. For the pants, this included the following: pleats, hem type, optional suspender buttons, belt loops, and side tabs. There were a few things I was initially undecided on and being able to view examples of different features on the in-store mannequins helped me narrow things down significantly. After I'd made all my selections, another employee assisted with measurements to ensure everything was set to my measurements, as while these suits are not bespoke, they are made to measure! The items arrived while I was traveling outside of the country, so the store allowed me to have everything shipped to them instead, which I greatly appreciated! I recently had my in-store try on and while we're making a few alterations to further customize everything and ensure my suits look sharp, I have been deeply impressed with everything so far. I think my original order may have accidentally been placed for men's suits instead of women's suits, but if it's something alterations can fix, it works for me! The fabrics themselves are really great blends and I'm excited to have my final try-on after alterations. The employees I have worked with here have been absolutely lovely, the process of booking an appointment and ordering in store was straightforward, and it's been a really wonderful experience thus far. At this time, I would highly recommend this location for anyone looking to invest in a more custom suit with great material blends (plus these suits are significantly cheaper than other suits I've purchased that still had to be altered and included polyesters... looking at you, Veronica Beard's $700 jackets and $400 pants.) I'll share an update after my next appointment, but so far so good!
