Our child is overly prepared for kindergarten and it's 100% because of the instruction she received at Excelencia. If everyone knew what we did it would be impossible to get admittance into the school. It's not Montessori but through the extremely high quality instruction and deep Spanish immersion it doesn't even matter. The results speak for themselves.

The biggest complaint you'll hear about daycares are turn over rate. Excelencia has one of the lowest I've seen in the industry. This is based on the vast amount of schools I inquired. The teachers here are some of the kindest and most involved teachers I have experienced. The teacher to ratio is small so my child isn't just another face. They know everything about my kids and we have never lost anything here. Even a toy that they dropped in the parking lot was returned to us. Everything listed on their curriculum is followed to the T. They do lots of science experiment here. Other daycares are always art and maybe 1-2 science a year. Excelencia also rotates their toys and supplies every couple weeks so kids are constantly engaged and not bored of playing with the same thing. Also every couple weeks they have a theme and they learn all about it. Like outer space, western cowboys, asia, future careers, automobiles and traffic, safari, and the list goes on. They do a phenomenal job at keeping kids interested in learning and not getting bored. My children, including my friends' children, have all thrived here. I refer people here and never a complaint. The owner is the most beautiful soul you'll meet. She truly cares about the kids and the school. She has created a wonderful environment not just for the kids but for the staff so they enjoy their job and it reflects in the children's care and happiness. This place is a hidden gem. People don't know about it other than word of mouth because they don't spend on marketing. They focus their efforts on the children and the staff. This is how it should be!

You can tell based on her start date that for the first couple years of her life it was a pandemic and she had little interaction with other people or kids, so going to daycare she was scared and shy. She was a very quiet kid around other people, observing them and not own to show affection or seek it out either. That all changed when she started at Small World and honestly it's because of one specific teacher there, of course the owners John and Mrs Ines are AMAZING. But it was a teacher named Mrs Lucy who changed everything. I imagine she was sent here to love and care for kids that need help opening up, she is so kind, so understanding yet still firm and consistent. She helped Rose completely come out of her shell, suddenly she was talking to other people, she was making friends and not afraid to talk to other kids and ask them to play. We do not live that closer to Small World Preschool and to be honest there is daycare waaaay closer as we live far into Georgetown. But the school was so absolutely perfect for Rose that we could not remove her. Now after 4 years she is just an absolutely loving, kind and respectful little girl. Not a shy bone left in her body, not a kid she can't make friends with. They were amazing about communication throughout the day, what she eats, pictures and videos of her playing. If you are looking for one of the most dedicated preschool in the Williamson county area this is behind a perfect choice. And their camp is great, 3 field reps a week, and activities on the day there isn't one. If I had to do it all over again I would picked School World every single times.

Se preocupan siempre por su bienestar. Small world no solo es una guardería es parte de mi familia. Gracias por todo

As a parent of three children at Austin International School -- in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 2nd…read moregrade -- I can wholeheartedly say this school has exceeded every expectation. All three of my kids enrolled without any knowledge of a foreign language, which was initially a little nerve-wracking. My second grader was placed in a dedicated French as a Second Language support class, and it made a world of difference. Within a year, he had genuinely acquired the language in a way I didn't think was possible so quickly. My two younger ones jumped straight into the regular classroom, and they too have picked up an impressive amount of French in just one year. One of the most memorable surprises was hearing my kids come home and naturally speak French -- something I never expected to happen so soon. But perhaps the most touching milestone? They now ask me to speak French with them during part of our day at home and correct me when I make a mistake. The language has become something they take pride in and genuinely enjoy -- it's no longer just school, it's part of who they are. Academically, my kids are thriving too -- my second grader's MAP scores showed a remarkable jump from where he started before joining the school. What sets this school apart, though, goes beyond academics. The teachers clearly love what they do and love the kids they teach. Their enthusiasm and dedication are visible every single day -- they are engaged, motivated, and create an environment where children genuinely want to learn. The broader school community has been nothing short of wonderful. Warm, welcoming, and supportive in every way. The Head of School deserves special recognition for the outstanding leadership and tone set at the top -- the culture of this school reflects that every single day. If you're looking for a school where your child will grow academically, linguistically, and as a person -- Austin International School is truly special and we couldn't recommend it more.

I can't speak for their regular classes that they hold for grade school kids, I can only speak for myself and the private tutoring I received for my college mathematics class. I'll start off with the owner (who's name I do not remember) who was extremely nice and worked with me both time-wise and financially to get these tutoring sessions done. I had the chance of working with two different tutors (Heather & Reddy) - both of whom were excellent and did a really substantial job at helping me to UNDERSTAND the assignments that I brought in with me, rather than just doing the problems and hoping for the best later on. So if you're in college and need a private tutor, don't feel silly about calling this place up (although you may have a 5-year-old sitting behind you getting tutored as well occasionally ;). They will really help you to learn what I like to call Satan's Language - and that is Math.

It has been a beautiful thing that they have gotten to teach two of our children, and we have made some lifelong friendships here.
