Unfortunately, our experience in the toddler room was very different. The front entrance door that uses a key code did not always close and lock properly, and the toddler gate leading to the right hallway did not lock securely, which raised safety concerns. A lot of times at pick up that hallway also smelled like a trash bag of poop was stored somewhere. Many toys were kept on high shelves and out of reach, leading children to climb on the shelf in order to access them. During transitions and diaper changes, children were often left without activities, resulting in restlessness and pacing. Cleanup also fell almost entirely on the teachers, as children were not taught or encouraged to help put toys away, which appeared to limit the teachers' ability to support children who were struggling emotionally. Communication was also difficult. At pickup, teachers were understandably busy managing multiple children, but there was little insight into how my daughter's day had gone. Messages sent through the app often had delayed responses. There was also a required supply list that included items such as a water paint kit, colored pencils, a paint apron, and crayons, but these supplies were never used in the classroom. My 2.5-year-old thrives in a structured environment. In this classroom, much of the day was unstructured free play, and she struggled significantly. During her final full week, she spent most of each day sitting and crying. She appeared overwhelmed, isolated, and unable to engage. On three consecutive days, photos shared as "gym activities" showed children sitting against a wall watching the teacher, whereas earlier in her enrollment gym time involved active movement and play. That earlier structure had been far more appropriate for her needs. While the staff were kind, the lack of structure and engagement negatively affected my child's well-being and ultimately led us to seek a different environment. Although another classroom was offered, seeing her cry consistently on the camera and struggle at drop-off made it difficult to continue.

Miss Reena has a 25 year experience in taking care of children from infancy through the pre-school years, and it shows. From our very first interaction we felt safe in the knowledge that our daughter will be in good hands in a healthy, safe, and structured environment conducive to learning and development, not just a "parking lot" for babies during the workday. We were given an after-hours, thorough tour of the facilities prior to enrolling, and we were impressed by the meticulous care with which everything is done, from the Montessori/Phonics methods of learning for all children, to the great variety of play/learning stations, the various activities offered, and the seemingly odd conviction (from a business perspective) to choose a smaller number of children receiving exceptional care and education over a larger number of children without this personalized attention. We have seen enormous changes in our daughter's development in less than two months, with much greater independence in play, improved confidence in exploring the world around her under supervision, as well as practical improvements such as sleep and eating, and we can directly attribute every single improvement to the tireless work of Miss Reena. Although there are no "fancy" offerings such as video surveillance and smartphone apps, parents of both infants and toddlers have open lines of communication in realtime via WhatsApp channels, and a daily personalized report during drop-off and pick-up to address any issues/concerns and offer invaluable advice on everything childcare-related. We have seen from other parents that they completely trust LHP with their children for all their formative toddlerhood and preschool years, and although our daughter is not old enough for the complete learning experience yet, we can definitely understand the strong bond parents and babies feel to LHP. Our daughter loves her so much so that now that she has moved on from her class, she will still sometimes refuse to enter the new class unless Ms. Amaiya is there. She has been so great that she'll often at times help take her in the morning until her current teacher is available to get her. We are extremely grateful for her! Currently, our daughter is in Ms. Stephanie's class and she loves and trusts her as well. Ms. Stephanie has been incredible and is always available to give us updates on our daughter's potty training. She encourages her all the time to do things on her own and she's been so crucial for us in helping us potty train our daughter. The front desk of TLE has been amazing as well! Ms. Jessica and her team have done an amazing job and really have given a lot of consistency to the facility that we felt was lacking for a while. Apparently that is against the rules and the owner let us know we put the staff in danger. Crazy right? My 2 year Old son was a bit for the 4th time. Yes 4. 1st time - I get it. Kids will be kids. 2nd time - make sense please don't let it happen again. 3rd time - ok let's have a quick in person meeting with the GM. Which we did just to see if there is a way we could help out. 4th time - I wrote an email saying " franchise owner - while giving my son a bath tonight I realize he had a bite mark on him. I don't see a report. " Leena the franchise owner responded with " oh no let's have a meeting. And so we are clear we DO NOT have to give you a report for 48 hours as it didn't break the skin". (not being a human being or mom and saying hey kid was bit all good I'll Get your a report. They just avoided it. That's not loving or mother like if you ask me. But to each their own) Me - " I have already met with your GM so I am not sure what another conversation is going to do but nonetheless let's do a phone call." Leena - " I can't let me know when a good time to talk is" Me - " anytime after 515pm works for me and my fiancé" Leena - then calls me at 11am and 3:45pm the next day. Leena - " hey I have been trying to reach you guys. If this is not an issue please just let me know and I'll stop calling." Me - leena you called before 5:15 we can't answer as we are working" Fiancé - " leena I will be there today at 5:30 to pick the boys up let's chat". Leena - " it's seems we have lost your trust. And we are now canceling your enrollment." - then proceeds to bring up handing the phone off is a violation as she had no other ground to stand on. All a dad was doing is making his kids re safe and not bitten for a 5th time. So that brings me to this review. This all happened Friday. The weekend of Presidents' Day. So guess what schools are closed Monday how do we coordinate with work and get us a new school in time? Super inconvenient and very impulsive on her part. Now for the honest review: My kids went here for just under two years. we were the 5th kid enrolled here so I have room to talk. They Simply can't handle the growth of the Leander. - Understaffed. - Now extremely Over priced for being so tiny in comparison to others. - waiting lines to drop off are INSANE. Especially on cold days. - Small play ground. like tiny and it ruins the kids shoes as they turn dark black. It's cheaply made but at the time we signed up there we only 10 kids and now at 75+ - dirty facility (ie: a yogurt was on the spilt on the ground when we dropped our boys off. We came back 8 hours later and it was still there just now full of ants) - Constantly closing down with minimal lead time for the parents. Never know what to expect really. Not to mention now all the new teachers have their kids go here and have "different rules" if you will. This wasn't a thing before. You will notice the kids behind the front desk right when you walk in. There is a tiny cubby behind the front desk to the right side just look in there and you will see what I am talking about. Their head teacher Ms. Elizabeth was "promoted" about 8 months ago and the place went to downhill from there. They hired ms Normandy who is under qualified and under staffed. From the missed emails, giving my child face rub with no Medical papers signed. Giving my child milk after saying he can't have milk etc. The owner leena or the GM normandy will comment something witty like "we are doing our best to accommodate" and then never proceed to change anything.. they are trained by the franchise to use catchy phrases like " we care" or " align our souls" " we Strive to be the best" but let me tell you from a person who has been paying 2600 a month for convenience ( literally next to my house) that It's all smoke and mirrors. It's turned into a franchise only trying to gain as much ROI as possible. which I totally get but it devalues the love and care that they preach but don't practice. But man I do have to say this was a blessing in disguise we got our kids set up at new school. GM has a PhD, met the owner IN PERSON first day and they gave us all their personal contact info incase we feel like we need to talk.
