As I said, please keep looking they don't care about your child. This ain't it…read more STACY you over exaggerated TF out of that story below. Yes, me and you both know what was said in the messages in the app? And? The point is Emerson waited Monday THE WEEK of spring break to send me a message after 5 o'clock on brightwheel app to tell me my child couldn't attend until 12. No communication. Every time school was out, my child was there before 12. Nobody ever said anything about it then? How I'm supposed to know it's different just because it's spring break? Mind you Our FIRST time ever being there for spring break! Did any teachers/admins reiterate this to me then? Y'all waited the week of through an app to communicate this. A simple phone call would've been a lot more understanding on BOTH ends because in my mind I'm thinking it's something I forgot to do with the WORKFORCE! I can't speak on Tuesday because I didn't drop her off, soo, irrelevant! Now mind you when I came and picked up my daughter Wednesday! (Day 3 into spring break) after just dropping her off. I went in as my norm, got my child and grabbed the few diapers that were there, and her blanket? So what? I was obviously needing to make different arrangements for her for the rest of that week? Stormed out? Stacy Please! You NOR blanca were present. Picking up or dropping off to be exact! Blanca was in the back every time I walked in, so relax. What did I need to say to who? It was a teacher there that I've never had encounter with? Thursday and Friday my child didn't attend? So what? You tell me after just 2 days you took it upon yourself to do some spiteful shit and un enroll my daughter based off Assumptions? Sent her back on a school bus, STILL not contacting her parents? All cause of what you ASSUMED? That's what you told me yesterday over the phone after I had to contact you to see what tf what was going on! THAT was my whole deal! Hell yea I have an issue with YOU! Again you are unprofessional af and your communication sucks! Then you say you called the workforce and mighty funny how they still had my daughter enrolled at Emerson, so what workforce you call hunny? I have receipts on when I, MYSELF, ended care with Emerson. Then went and voided the parent fee in the app lol... just conniving and sneaky af! &PLEASEEEEEE tell me what teacher/admin have I been disrespectful to other than YOU? And this was AFTER the fact! Please tell me what threats I've made? You are extra AF lady. This journey will be a great one because one monkey didn't stop a show. God bless you! & We can go review for review..

We can't say enough good things about INIC. Our older child started here at age 3 and stayed for…read moretwo wonderful years, and our younger one started as an infant, around 4 or 5 months old, when the older was 3.5. Our youngest is still here and about to turn 3, so we've trusted INIC with our family for years now. The teachers are absolutely wonderful. Most, if not all, are native Spanish speakers, and that's made such a difference in nurturing our kids' bilingualism. Watching both of them grow up understanding and speaking Spanish naturally has been one of the greatest gifts of this school. What we love is how the curriculum balances structure with play. The kids play all day, but they're also learning real concepts like colors, numbers, and letters woven into everything they do. They sing, they dance, and they even have Mandarin lessons. There's so much thought put into how the day is organized. The director deserves special recognition. She runs a safe, well-managed facility and stays personally involved with the kids. She knows them, not just their names. The staff also goes above and beyond to make the school feel special. They decorate beautifully and are always putting on themed events for the students, staff, and families. It creates such a warm, joyful community. After three years and two children here, we can wholeheartedly recommend INIC to any family. The teachers and staff have become like extended family to us, and we're so grateful for the care, warmth, and education they've given our kids.

The infant room was very well staffed and had a calm, nurturing environment. The teachers there…read morewere kind, attentive, and consistent about updating daily events and activities, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, our experience in the toddler room was very different. The front entrance door that uses a key code did not always close and lock properly, and the toddler gate leading to the right hallway did not lock securely, which raised safety concerns. A lot of times at pick up that hallway also smelled like a trash bag of poop was stored somewhere. Many toys were kept on high shelves and out of reach, leading children to climb on the shelf in order to access them. During transitions and diaper changes, children were often left without activities, resulting in restlessness and pacing. Cleanup also fell almost entirely on the teachers, as children were not taught or encouraged to help put toys away, which appeared to limit the teachers' ability to support children who were struggling emotionally. Communication was also difficult. At pickup, teachers were understandably busy managing multiple children, but there was little insight into how my daughter's day had gone. Messages sent through the app often had delayed responses. There was also a required supply list that included items such as a water paint kit, colored pencils, a paint apron, and crayons, but these supplies were never used in the classroom. My 2.5-year-old thrives in a structured environment. In this classroom, much of the day was unstructured free play, and she struggled significantly. During her final full week, she spent most of each day sitting and crying. She appeared overwhelmed, isolated, and unable to engage. On three consecutive days, photos shared as "gym activities" showed children sitting against a wall watching the teacher, whereas earlier in her enrollment gym time involved active movement and play. That earlier structure had been far more appropriate for her needs. While the staff were kind, the lack of structure and engagement negatively affected my child's well-being and ultimately led us to seek a different environment. Although another classroom was offered, seeing her cry consistently on the camera and struggle at drop-off made it difficult to continue.

My son, 8 yrs old, has gone to Stepping Stone for 2 years for after school care and summer camp…read more He has also gone to Kids R Kids in the Teravista neighborhood and says that he likes Stepping Stone better. He thinks the outside play area is better, and that the place is bigger and has better toys. The staff is pretty consistent with an acceptable turnover rate. My son has never complained about anything and actually asks if I can let him go to Stepping Stone instead of being an early pick-up on days that I get off work early. I sent him to the 'Y" summer camp this year. They have a lower cost and more activities, such as paintball, daily swim, rock climbing, gaga ball, etc.. Even with all of this, after several weeks my son didn't like it as much since they were outside for almost the entire day and he said he missed his old friends. When I enrolled him back at Stepping Stone he was really excited and is still loving it.

Parents considering Stepping Stone: please read this before enrolling your child…read more My experience with Amy at this location was extremely disappointing and, in my opinion, completely unacceptable for someone working with children and families. I NEVER told Amy that I refused to pay. I explained that I was struggling financially and asked whether my balance could simply be divided into 2-3 payments. I was not asking them to erase the balance. Her response was no, followed by telling me not to bring my child back. What makes this worse is that I am now being charged for two weeks even though my son only attended one of those weeks. I am disputing that charge. As a parent, what concerned me most was the way the situation was handled. There was no compassion, patience, or attempt to work with our family. My son had also reached the point where he would cry when it was time to go there and when I picked him up. I hope Stepping Stone's corporate management takes complaints like this seriously and carefully reviews how this location is being managed and how parents and children are being treated. I cannot tell another parent what decision to make, but based on my family's experience, I would not enroll my child at this location again.

Our daughter loves her so much so that now that she has moved on from her class, she will still sometimes refuse to enter the new class unless Ms. Amaiya is there. She has been so great that she'll often at times help take her in the morning until her current teacher is available to get her. We are extremely grateful for her! Currently, our daughter is in Ms. Stephanie's class and she loves and trusts her as well. Ms. Stephanie has been incredible and is always available to give us updates on our daughter's potty training. She encourages her all the time to do things on her own and she's been so crucial for us in helping us potty train our daughter. The front desk of TLE has been amazing as well! Ms. Jessica and her team have done an amazing job and really have given a lot of consistency to the facility that we felt was lacking for a while. My fellow Yelpers…read more About 2 weeks ago now my wife handed her cell phone to the teacher as I was at work and wanted to tell the new teacher " I appreciate your work and attitude you are giving us" as this is my sons 4th new teacher in 8 months. Apparently that is against the rules and the owner let us know we put the staff in danger. Crazy right? My 2 year Old son was a bit for the 4th time. Yes 4. 1st time - I get it. Kids will be kids. 2nd time - make sense please don't let it happen again. 3rd time - ok let's have a quick in person meeting with the GM. Which we did just to see if there is a way we could help out. 4th time - I wrote an email saying " franchise owner - while giving my son a bath tonight I realize he had a bite mark on him. I don't see a report. " Leena the franchise owner responded with " oh no let's have a meeting. And so we are clear we DO NOT have to give you a report for 48 hours as it didn't break the skin". (not being a human being or mom and saying hey kid was bit all good I'll Get your a report. They just avoided it. That's not loving or mother like if you ask me. But to each their own) Me - " I have already met with your GM so I am not sure what another conversation is going to do but nonetheless let's do a phone call." Leena - " I can't let me know when a good time to talk is" Me - " anytime after 515pm works for me and my fiancé" Leena - then calls me at 11am and 3:45pm the next day. Leena - " hey I have been trying to reach you guys. If this is not an issue please just let me know and I'll stop calling." Me - leena you called before 5:15 we can't answer as we are working" Fiancé - " leena I will be there today at 5:30 to pick the boys up let's chat". Leena - " it's seems we have lost your trust. And we are now canceling your enrollment." - then proceeds to bring up handing the phone off is a violation as she had no other ground to stand on. She used the week and a half old excuse of my fiancé handing the phone to the teacher as a protocol violation...lol stop it. She then tries to explain that's it's for the love of the kids. Riiiiight Taking your frustrations with us out on the kids really exemplifies love. Up rooting friends and memories the built of the last two years is love? All a dad was doing is making his kids re safe and not bitten for a 5th time. So that brings me to this review. This all happened Friday. The weekend of Presidents' Day. So guess what schools are closed Monday how do we coordinate with work and get us a new school in time? Super inconvenient and very impulsive on her part. Should have said we will give you a week at the minimal. You know act like a parent/human being. Now for the honest review: My kids went here for just under two years. we were the 5th kid enrolled here so I have room to talk. They Simply can't handle the growth of the Leander. - Understaffed. - Now extremely Over priced for being so tiny in comparison to others. - waiting lines to drop off are INSANE. Especially on cold days. - Small play ground. like tiny and it ruins the kids shoes as they turn dark black. It's cheaply made but at the time we signed up there we only 10 kids and now at 75+ - dirty facility (ie: a yogurt was on the spilt on the ground when we dropped our boys off. We came back 8 hours later and it was still there just now full of ants) - Constantly closing down with minimal lead time for the parents. Never know what to expect really. Not to mention now all the new teachers have their kids go here and have "different rules" if you will. This wasn't a thing before. You will notice the kids behind the front desk right when you walk in. There is a tiny cubby behind the front desk to the right side just look in there and you will see what I am talking about. Their head teacher Ms. Elizabeth was "promoted" about 8 months ago and the place went to downhill from there. They hired ms Normandy who is under qualified and under staffed. From the missed emails, giving my child face rub with no Medical papers signed. Giving my child milk after saying he can't have milk etc. The owner leena or the GM normandy will comment something witty like "we are doing our best to accommodate" and then never proceed to change anything.. they are trained by the franchise to use catchy phrases like " we care" or " align our souls" " we Strive to be the best" but let me tell you from a person who has been paying 2600 a month for convenience ( literally next to my house) that It's all smoke and mirrors. It's turned into a franchise only trying to gain as much ROI as possible. which I totally get but it devalues the love and care that they preach but don't practice. But man I do have to say this was a blessing in disguise we got our kids set up at new school. GM has a PhD, met the owner IN PERSON first day and they gave us all their personal contact info incase we feel like we need to talk.
