Rock solid preschool. Very impressed with the variety of activities, the professionalism of the staff and how tight knit the community is. Our child is overly prepared for kindergarten and it's 100% because of the instruction she received at Excelencia. If everyone knew what we did it would be impossible to get admittance into the school. I have toured over 20 daycares and been at 3. Excelencia looks just normal on the outside but they are absolutely amazing. The biggest complaint you'll hear about daycares are turn over rate. Excelencia has one of the lowest I've seen in the industry. This is based on the vast amount of schools I inquired. The teachers here are some of the kindest and most involved teachers I have experienced. The teacher to ratio is small so my child isn't just another face. They know everything about my kids and we have never lost anything here. Even a toy that they dropped in the parking lot was returned to us. Everything listed on their curriculum is followed to the T. They do lots of science experiment here. Other daycares are always art and maybe 1-2 science a year. Excelencia also rotates their toys and supplies every couple weeks so kids are constantly engaged and not bored of playing with the same thing. Also every couple weeks they have a theme and they learn all about it. Like outer space, western cowboys, asia, future careers, automobiles and traffic, safari, and the list goes on. They do a phenomenal job at keeping kids interested in learning and not getting bored. My children, including my friends' children, have all thrived here. I refer people here and never a complaint. The owner is the most beautiful soul you'll meet. She truly cares about the kids and the school. She has created a wonderful environment not just for the kids but for the staff so they enjoy their job and it reflects in the children's care and happiness. This place is a hidden gem. People don't know about it other than word of mouth because they don't spend on marketing. They focus their efforts on the children and the staff. This is how it should be! read more

Excelencia combines the best of all worlds, good daily learning curriculum (they send daily pictures and videos of learning activities), good teachers/caregivers, a beautiful facility, and is relatively more affordable than other preschools offering a quality curriculums. I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am that a friend told me about this school. Their website is very basic, as they clearly don't have an I.T. person, so you really shouldn't judge it based on that. However, the school is AMAZING!!! It's so colorful and CLEAN and organized (well, as much as you can be with all those kids lol). The teachers are so sweet to the children. Every single child I've seen at that school is smiling with every single teacher. My sweet girl is only 19 months old and she goes part time. She completely stopped crying when dropping her off after about the 4th time. Every single time we'd take her there, she'd cry less. They were clearly earning her trust. They send wonderful pics and videos all day long, where I get to see my baby girl smiling and learning and having fun. This is the first school I've ever put a child in, as she is my first and only, but I have never heard a negative word from anyone familiar with it. I love this school! We came from overseas, so my kid can't understand English or Spanish so far, but he still enjoys going there. We can see how things are going every day with the photo app, and they file the prints and pictures that he did in class every month. It's not easy to file a child's work when I'm busy, Teacher's make a wonderful collection of works by it. It will be our treasures! I can not say enough good things about this preschool. It is amazing. My daughter started at 3 and is now in kinder. my son started at 2 and still at the school. No only is it Spanish immersion but the curriculum is amazing. Each and every week they are learning so much. the interaction and learning is at such a high level. I love this preschool. I signed up my oldest son in October 2016 and I was amazed at all the things he learned in such a short time. I also signed up my youngest (18 months old), I was a little worried at the beginning because of his food allergies but the staff made me feel comfortable and have gotten all the documents needs to have on file for him. I'm a bilingual sped teacher with masters in elementary education. The curriculum here is absolutely brilliant and age appropriate. They work on all the important skills and learn so much. The turnover is low and the quality of teachers is high. My girls are speaking Spanish beautifully and they love their teachers. We will be sad when we have to leave this special place. read more

We found Excelencia as we were looking to change our toddler to a pre-school closer to our new home. I had already heard wonderful things about their first location but it was too far from us before moving. I was happy to hear they had a new location and it was actually 8 minutes from our new house so I went to see it. From the beginning they were so welcoming and their school environment and building was what we were looking for. After having our son there for the last six months I can't be more grateful that we found this school! They expose our son to so much fun learning its really incredible. The teachers are so creative, the play/learn structure is so evident and my son is HAPPY to go to school every morning. He had some sensory sensitivities before going to this school and had experienced some isolating behaviors in the previous school he was in (which is the other reason we wanted to change the environment for him) and I am happy to say he has NONE of those here. He is playful and engaged and just really into the activities they do. I see how he has developed so many skills and I am so proud of his progress. They care for the children as their own and the teachers are so sweet to all the kids, in all levels. Even when you see the other kids you can see their comfort with everyone there. I understand why the kids feel so welcomed and safe. I would recommend it in a hearbeat!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this school!!!! read more
