If you are looking for a course that is effective, safe and on point, then this is the experience…read moreyou are looking for. Bryce Gross, our teacher, comes from a solid background providing exceptional, clear, concise instructions that left us comfortable at the end of a course, getting on a bike and riding into the sunset. I recommend this course and cannot stress teh important of learning about motorcycling before you get on the bike. 5 star is an understatement. Thanks Bryce for your patience and for holding us accountable to learn and not just collect our money and go.

First, remember that the course content for the Texas MSF is exactly the same no matter which school you go to across the state: that's how DPS maintains consistency. So what you're looking for is the difference in teachers. I checked out all the providers I could get to easily - being in north Austin that's a half dozen or so. Based on the reviews and the website I thought Bryce over at The Ride Company was the right fit - man, did I make a good choice. First; he respects everyone and is always positive. In two half- days of training (roughly 12 hours) I never heard a negative thing out of his mouth, to me, or anyone else. He's respectful, calm and into teaching. When he needs to give you input he takes you aside - never in front of others! - and it's always couched in ways like "try it like this" or, "think about that." Always positive, always respectful. Second, if you're going to learn the foundations of riding (I can still hear him, "clutch first, then squeeeeeze the brake") why not learn from someone who loves riding and loves motorcycles and is excited about sharing his passion with others? Two wheels is fun - learn from someone who hasn't forgotten that. Really have no negatives to report - there were plenty of breaks from the brutal sun, plenty of 1:1 coaching and plenty of enthusiasm from Bryce. Like I said - the content is the same: it's the person who delivers it that makes a difference. Go see Bryce.
