The brisket wa kinda dry the first time but the second time it was a bit more soft. The Mac & cheese is meh. Really good sampler; in my opinion it is enough for 2 people; my other half and I weren't super hungry and the sampler was just enough. If he or I were probably really hungry, we may have added a side or two. Brisket = excellent! Smoky, Tender and juicy. Sausage = excellent, just the way I like it! Pulled pork = very yummy but I wasn't crazy about the sweet smokey bbq sauce (it really was yummy but my preference would have been no save as I don't like really sweet meat. Great slaw and nice addition of pickles to balance everything. Overall, really really good! Friendly service. They were quite busy! Benches outside on a beautiful lawn. Been meaning to try this food truck and so glad that we did. Ordered the Walking Taco with pulled pork and also half a pound of burnt ends. Both were very good however burnt ends had a bit too much sauce for our liking but it's personal preference. The Walking Taco was super filling and had a good amount of pork in it. Went there at 3:30 today to try the ribs. I've been to Texas a few times so I know what its supposed to taste like. These guys failed on all accounts except service. The "Southern Cole Slaw" was the same as I buy in a bag kit at Save-On-Foods (yes, it was EXACTLY that) except they added a couple of pepper slices and onion. I wanted ribs but they were already out. Their hours are until 6:30 but they were out 3 hours early? I ordered the sampler platter and after I got it I asked about the ribs. They said they are usually out of stock by 1:00 or so. Really? You can't keep enough product to get you through even a 1/4 of your day? The sausage skin was tough. The brisket was ok, but very low temperature. The pulled pork was barely ok but also low temperature with very little BBQ sauce. Maybe they need a visit from the health department? I won't be going back and I told them so when I left. read more

Been hearing great things about this place so after winning a gift card from.IG, decided to make a day trip out to Langley to try it out with some friends. We arrived on a Saturday at 11:40am and were the first to arrive as they open 12pm to 6pm at the Driediger market farm. A bunch of cars showed up right before the truck rolled in at Noon and it was a steady line of customers. My 3 friends and I ordered the BBQ platter for 2 (2 sausages, half a pound of brisket, half a pound of pulled pork, and 2 sides), half order of pork ribs, beef Dino ribs, and an order of burnt ends (half pound). For our sides, we ordered the corn bread with mac and cheese. As we were first to arrive, we got to order first and it took about 5 minutes for them to call our order to collect. The food didn't look to be a lot but it was plenty for 4 hungry adults. The beef Dino ribs are HUGE and was fall off the bone tender. Pork ribs were actually smoked properly and we're incredibly tasty. I'm not always a big fan of brisket, as it tends to be dry, but they do it right here and it was tender and juicy. By far easily the best brisket I've had. Pulled pork was perfectly sauced and incredibly juicy. Sausages weren't overly salty and was good. Corn bread was incredibly moist (so hard to find!) but didn't taste the jalapeno. Mac and cheese was solid. Overall, easily the best BBQ in the Lower Mainland as they know how to smoke their meats right so that it all comes out tasty, tender, and juicy. There are about 6 picnic tables that were cleaned for customers to use. When it gets busy though, customers may want to bring their own chairs. My friends and I will definitely come back. We have stopped in at the location on 72nd Ave by the 232 exit off of hwy 1 before and really enjoyed it. The other day we saw their trailer in Milner as we were driving to a customer's house and went back after we had finished up We chose the sampler and some baked beans. As it was the end of the day they loaded us up with some extras The brisket was really great The sausage is very tasty and I liked the pulled pork but not my favourite. Their sides are really good like the slaw, peppers, pickles and beans. Never been a fan of corn bread but it was ok for a couple of nibbles. It was a nice treat and it was plenty for the 2 of us. Dang tasty, dang smoky meat! And lots of it! Prepare for meat sweats. Our family of 4 got the platter for 5 and had leftovers for a couple days. They didn't have any chicken left since the smoker was full so they gave us more of everything else instead. The smoked sausage is delicious. Nice and tight. Are you Dutch? Think of a nice rookworst. The ribs, pulled pork and brisket are all some of the tenderest and smokiest I've had. The sauce goes well with it. The coleslaw is really boring though. Way too chunky cabbage. Since it's the only real side on the platter it should be better. If it was chopped finer and with a better dressing that would make the platter 5 stars. We ordered cornbread on the side, and ho-man is that the best cornbread we've had! All in all some of the best BBQ in the whole Vancouver area... great meats however the side offerings are a bit of a letdown. read more

I wanted to love this place, but if you are going to invoke "Texas" in your name you have to deliver. Sorry, but it's just not authentic Texas BBQ. It tries to be, but not even close. Brisket had little flavor. The sausage was more like fancy wieners. Pulled pork was not too bad. If they rebrand and lower their prices a bit, I might have liked them more. But don't mess with Texas unless you're going to deliver. My advice to the owners is to hop a plane l, rent a car, and go check out each of the four major BBQ styles in Texas. Go to Franklin's in Austin, Goldies near Dallas, but most of all attend a tailgater and see if you can sample private fare. Even go to a large Buc-ees Gas station and sample their stuff. read more

First off, the staff working there are so nice and friendly, providing top notch customer service. I got there right when it opened at 11 am and was first in line. I decided on the Beef "Dyno" Rib and did it ever live up to expectations! It's huge and absolutely delicious! The beef was tender, flavorful, fatty, and smoked to perfection. The smoke flavor is so prominent and is unlike any other barbecue I've tried in Greater Vancouver. I completely understand the hype surrounding this place. I will most definitely be back as I'm drooling to try their brisket as now I'm absolutely certain it will be a banger! I highly recommend this incredible barbecue joint and am so happy that we have a legitimate and authentic barbecue contender around! I can definitely see why the lineups can get so long and why they're often sold out. However, so thankful for a second location and fully recommend the Milner Feeds location! Drive by this place three times a week and I don't go here anymore. 1 out of 5 times you go everything will be good, the other times it's a roll of the dice on wether the brisket is as dry as jerky or the bark is so salty it burns your taste buds off. I warn every one of my friends about the inconsistency of the food when they ask me and they usually come back saying it was a bad experience or it was good and then they went back and it was terrible the second time. Disappointed. 2 weeks in a row I came for candied burnt ends on the menu. Missed em all out both weeks ok no problem they must be popular! So 3rd times the charm i drive out and they have them! Imagine my joy! So I order 2 orders of 1/2 lb candied "burnt ends". Excited to try them i open up the box and!! There's maybe 10 chunks of wet meat in what can only be described as a sauce soup? Might have gotten the weight by adding mostly sauce but there wasn't near a pound of meat and there was zero candied or burnt or ends!
