I have to be honest, this was my first Sari shop, and it only made me want a colorful, beaded sari even more. I've seen so many of my friends dress up for holidays and celebrations and have always felt left out. I've always said I've wanted one, but have never had the opportunity to buy one, or so I thought. This place was in the back of a small shopping center off Woodcliff Drive, near the corner of Briarcliff Road and North Druid Hills (next to Target), under a green and white awning. The woman greeted us and was polite to ask if we needed any help. We said we were just looking, and she nodded and proceeded to follow us around the entire store (one of my pet peeves). They had an extensive selection of styles and fabrics. Examples of the latest styles were hanging on the walls. Of course you can have everything custom made and/or altered there. They had both a kid's section and a men's section. The shop had a few customers (mostly families) looking around on a Saturday afternoon. Next time I go, I'm going to try them on!

This was our first time shopping for an Indian wedding. We were looking for formal attire and found several choices that we liked and ended up both finding dresses for the occasion. The lady working at the shop was very helpful - showing us how to wear all the different pieces, making suggestions, and even helped us with tailoring. They somehow managed to pull off a miracle and finished the tailoring before the end of the day. We bought the dresses around 3 pm and they were ready for pick up at 6 pm. I would definitely recommend for costume jewelry, formal, and casual attire.

I've spent quite a few weekends there taking everything from sewing and flower arranging to candle making, and every single class has been a joyful experience. There's something refreshing about stepping away from a screen and actually making something with your hands. The boutique side is just as great--it's packed with unique, high-quality gifts from local makers, so you're always finding something one-of-a-kind. Plus, they give you 20% off any purchases on the day you take a class, which makes it nearly impossible to leave empty-handed. If you're looking for a new hobby or just want to support the local creative scene, you really can't beat the vibe here.

It's easy to get lost in here because there is so much amazing stuff to choose from. Jewelry, clothing, food, crafts, soaps, and much more. I found things that I didn't even know I needed in here and I can't wait to go back. I saw some cologne and intention candles that I want. The price of their items range from $4 - $100 for certain things, but from what I saw the value outweighed the price repeatedly. The best part, again, is supporting so many other businesses in one place. Kudos to the owners for having such an awesome vision. There's lots of parking here because they are located off Caroline in that shopping area. Parking is free too. The shop is super organized and Mari greets everyone who comes in. You will leave with something.

He stuck with my style which is nothing too bright and more neutral and versatile. After tried on a few different pairs and even some insoles. I ended up leaving with a new pair of Brooks and some Karhus. Turns out I'd been wearing the wrong size shoe. To top off my purchase I got a pair of Feetures socks and let me say, they are great so far. My feet have never felt better during workouts. If you're serious about comfort, form, or just tired of guessing which shoes to buy, go get a fitting at Fleet Feet. Great price points! I love my entire purchase and really appreciate how personalize the experience was!

It is said to be one of the Top 10 Best Public Squares in the USA for three years in a row! I believe it too. Everytime I visit here I get the same laid back feel I always get. This square looks like a beautiful picture out of a book. There's plenty of space for kids to run around, nice shaded trees and picnic tables to enjoy a packed lunch or pick up a lunch from the quaint restaurants lined around the square. I was in the square years ago and they were filming a movie here. A lot of popular movies and shows have been filmed here throughout the years. I love that there are good quality places to eat, all in one area within walking distance and ice cream shops too. I also love how friendly strangers smile at each other and everyone is doing there own thing. Sometimes there's music playing throughout the square which makes it a double delight.

Decatur Square has made its way into plenty of magazines, movies and TV shows filmed around metro Atlanta. With its charming streets, vibrant energy, historic backdrop (like the Old Dekalb County Courthouse in the background) it's an easy pick for film crews, photographers, locals and visitors alike. The Square itself is lively and cute. I love that you can sit street side at restaurants, which gives major NYC or European cafe vibes, where sidewalk dining is where it's at! You're sure to find some of the best chef-driven restaurants in metro Atlanta. Whether you're looking for an upscale dinner, a quick bite, or coffee and people-watching, Decatur Square delivers. Also, there's plenty of local shops and usually something fun and Free happening at any given time, including outdoor concerts, movie nights in the square, art festivals, and other community events, so you'll want to check the calendar ahead of time and bring your lawn chairs. https://visitdecaturga.com/ Bonus fun fact: AJC Decatur Book Festival, one of the largest independent literary festivals in the country is hosted right here. An estimated 80,000 people converge for a celebratory weekend of literature. And, last August, Decatur Square became even more meaningful with the unveiling of a bronze statue honoring civil rights icon John Lewis. Hundreds gathered in front of the Old DeKalb County Courthouse for the ceremony, adding more impact to an already iconic space. Pro Tip: If you're into public transportation, MARTA literally drops you west of the square. Prefer to walk or bike? It's got that covered too. And for drivers: parking is usually manageable at one of the many decks or street parking. If it sounds like Decatur Square is my Fav, you're absolutely right LOL! This was my neighborhood for years (yes, I'm a little partial :-), but even objectively, whether you're a local or just passing through, Decatur Square has a perfect mix of small-town feel and intown access. I'll always have a soft spot for it and I think once you visit, hopefully you will too. Happy Exploring!
