We had amazing service today! Our server was very cheerful and did an amazing job of recommending upgrades to our food! We started out with the blue lemonade to drink, which was very good! For an appetizer we had fried pickles. These pickles are super thin and crispy. I added a few onto my Caesar salad and I know it sounds crazy but you gotta try it! The steaks were seasoned well and cooked to perfection! I ordered the loaded mashed potatoes, which have sour cream, cheese, and bacon bits. I think it adds a nice flavor! It's always a hoot going here. Definitely plan ahead if going during peak hours because it will get busy. The food is always good I love their ribs and their steaks are always done right! It can be a bit loud in there so it's nice to can be hard to hear your table conversations sometimes but not a huge complaint. read more

I have to admit I am not a fan of chain restaurants, but my friend wanted to meet here out of convenience after she got out of work. The service was great, my friend got the burger, unfortunately they didn't get it well done enough for her liking. (I know...why would you cook all of the flavors out of your beef?) The server took it back and she received a whole new burger to her liking. The manager stopped by while we were waiting. She was awesome! Sorry I didn't get her name. We were sitting in "Willie's corner" so we asked what was up with this one table all decked out for a Willie Nelson tribute. She shared how the founder and he were friends and went on to tell us all about how great it is to work there! What a great ambassador for the company! You could tell how much she loves her job. She had to leave us to go line dance, they apparently get the servers to perform every so often, such a fun environment. The staff all seemed to enjoy their jobs as well. Had dinner with another couple at Texas Roadhouse on Saturday evening, and the restaurant was very busy. Although the food took a surprsingly long time to arrive, most of it was enjoyable. However, both steaks were not cooked as requested - one was very rare instead of medium and one was very well done instead of medium - and the mash potato side was cold. The (very) overcooked steak took forever and was brought out as we were leaving. Not sure why they can't get the steak's cooked correctly, but otherwise, if you don't maid waiting for your food everything else was good. read more

Not bad not bad at all you can get a decent steak still at Texas, it might be that chain place but they still care about customer service and they do their best to impress. Well at least on my stop they were on it. Plenty of warm rolls lots of honey butter pretty much anything I wanted. But then damn you got to listen to them singing that stupid happy birthday song yeah this is chain restaurant, old school happy happy, But it's still good. The stakes are good The service was good, The beer was cold. I picked out my own steak the 16 oz ribeye of my choice, they put a nice sear on it and didn't overcook it to medium of my liking. This place is pretty solid you can get a good steak for a good price and usually have a good time. It's not that top-notch five Star steak place but you can save some loot, Just roll in have a beer a basket of rolls and enjoy yourself a pretty damn good steak, Texas Roadhouse will take care of you. Texas Roadhouse Finally. After eating at Longhorn and Outback, I get to eat here. Family atmosphere. Teens, kids, and adults. Loud happy birthday songs. A colorful menu. A bar obviously. Fast workers and friendly smiles. Nice decor. TVs only at the bar. It's a mix of Longhorn and Outback. No seafood. Steaks and Prime rib! Prime rib! I had to try the 16oz Prime Rib with Au Jus, gravy on the side, Sautéed Mushrooms & Onions. All mixed for an extreme Prime Rib meal. Well done Texas Roadhouse! Au Jus and gravy was excellent! My wife had the "Portobello Mushroom Chicken" which was excellent but portions were small. Kids had "Macaroni and Cheese" and "Chicken Tenders". All good. No issues. The breads are to die for! House salad needs some work. The "Cactus Blossom" was similar to Outback's Blooming onion and was great. Boneless Buffalo Wings were good. The chili was crazy good. Next to try: more steaks and ribs! Seated quickly and our server was quick with our drink and appetizer select, their version of a Bllong Onion, very good. From there my wife and the breaded chicken, Caeser Salad and baked Potato. My husband and I went there in a Tuesday evening, we asked a table for 2, not so close with any other big table with big groups. We waited 25 minutes and they called us the give to us a table between two groups of people. We'll, in that moment the restaurant has a lot small tables such as booths. We asked for one of them , since it has so many available. The attendant told to us that we needed to wait more 20 minutes for one. Let's start by saying our waitress was amazing. That's about the best I can do for a review and the only reason it did not get 1 star I worked for Texas Roadhouse before I moved working Point in the kitchen. On a Saturday at 1 they was only seating 1/2 the restaurant. That is a major issue if you can't provide enough staff to take care of your customers especially on a weekend and especially when you don't even open for lunch like a good majority do. There was no peanuts that even to this day they still do at all the ones in the southern states. We got a Cactus Blossom and I would have rather had one from Outback as that was the worst I have ever had. Tasted undercooked on one side and perfect on the other. They gave us 4 small rolls and a very small scoop of the butter for 5 people. Everyone kept it simple and just got the Roadkill with potatoes and salads. The roadkill came out and was 1/2 the size it normally is and was way overcooked. It comes with mushrooms and onions and cheese and all would have been great but you would have thought they was portioning the cheese like it came from chickens and had a short supply due to the bird flu. I have had more cheese on a White Castle slider than they put on it. Since 1997 I have been going to Texas Roadhouse. I even have some of the old wooden tokens they use to give out for promos. this has been the absolute worst Texas Roadhouse I have ever been too and will never be back at this location. All the managers should be fired letting service go this way. read more

Got a to go order. Got a rack of ribs with veggies and broccoli and a rib/chicken combo with a baked potato and broccoli. Literally got 1.5 rack of ribs a baked potato and veggies. Thats it. Yes I should have looked before I left but I thought if anything they would forget something small. NOT MORE THAN HALF MY ORDER. So for more than $40 I got less than half my food. If I didn't pick this up on the way home and was more than 30 mins I would have went back That said I gave 1 more star bc the food was decent. We liked the ribs and the bread. Baked potato was kinda salty. But they didn't even give me the chili I paid extra for. Moral of the story: if you get a to go order here check your bag. read more

We had an incredible experience! We came in on a Sunday after church and were seated in Layla's section. She promptly came over to welcome us and take our drink order. She was very friendly and attentive. She asked about appetizers, but we decided to order our meals instead. Layla made us feel as though we were the only patrons in the restaurant. After our meals came, she immediately realized the kitchen forgot something from my husband's order and quickly went to take care of it. She checked in on us to make sure the steaks were cooked perfectly and that everything else was good as well. The food was absolutely delicious. It was hot and fresh tasting. My filet cut like butter. So good! My husband's smothered ribeye was also delicious. Layla's kindness was appreciated. Each time she came to the table, she scanned our plates as if to check if we were satisfied. We eat out frequently and both agreed that Layla has been the best server we have had in years. I dined in for a early dinner with a quest, the experience at this specific location on Dec. 16th 2024 the manager on duty neglected to socialize with any table that had a white race party to the next table that was black. He did this throughout the entire restaurant. Even though many of the black diners were greeted and told as I and my party overheard apps are free and I have you babe to every black diners. Neglected any white individuals. This place don't recommend unless your black and expect free items all across the table. I do see this new restaurant lasting only 6 months if he's not fired. I will never return and the disrespect. If corporate can locate him on this date at 3:45pm on Dec. 16th. I would expect him fired. read more

Went NYE around 4 with my husband and 3 kids. Drinks and apps came out quick but our food took over an hour. Manager came and apologized twice and waitress was very apologetic as well. I know these things happen, the fact that the manager even came over at all is why I'm giving 5 stars and he discounted our check for the trouble. We will definitely be back. All the food was really good besides the kids Mac and cheese. It was awful. My husband and I enjoyed an A+ experience at the Orion Twp Texas Roadhouse this week. From the time we walked in we were greeted with a smiling personable hostess. But what really made our experience stellar was our waitress, Tasha. We highly recommend requesting her on your visit. She was prompt, professional but extremely personable. She had our order correct and came around to check on us just the right amount of time. For a Tuesday night the restaurant was packed! She managed her tables like a pro! As for the food, everything was perfect! We ordered the herb crusted chicken. It was cooked to perfection and came with grilled lemon that added an extra special touch! We have now been there 4 times and will not go back. Each time we have been asked how we want our beef cooked, which we always request 'medium rare', and it is always well-done. In addition, we always request that no additional salt be added to the main course or sides, but that is also over-looked. The most disappointing thing is that our concerns are never addressed, even though I told our server that the food was not cooked to order and pretty much in-edible. I still had to pay full price for food that got left on the table. I will not return to this venue, ever! read more

This is the first time trying the Texas Roadhouse that opened fairly recently on Brown Road in Auburn Hills. During the online ordering process. we were asked how we wanted a burger. We specified medium rare. It was well done and dry. We ended up throwing most of it away. It was really bad. The steak fries were sad, limp. Maybe they just don't do well when having to drive home but I never had an issue with Culver's fries. We threw those from both meals out too. If we want burgers and fries, we will go to Culver's next time. The pulled pork sandwich was good! We recommend it. just make sure to get extra barbecue sauce. The rolls were good! Make sure to request the extra honey cinnamon butter with it. It was really good. I went ahead and tipped. If they were busing the food to the nearby To Go parking spots then it would be worth a tip. Nope, you need to pick up the food yourself. There isn't any real service provided that warrants a tip when picking up. I'm torn on the rating between 2 (could be better) and 3 (okay). The pulled pork sandwich was worth it but the burger was so bad, dry, overcooked. But we can say we tried it. Lesson learned. read more

My steak came out wrong; my wife's was blue inside it was so undercooked. I ate mine without complaint and the manager Kayla offered to discount my steak. My wife sent her's back. When her steak come out it was way OVER cooked. Kayla, the manager said she would take both off the bill. When the bill arrived, no discount. we asked to speak to Kayla, the manager, and she explained that she had taken $10 off to account for the steak and became argumentative.
