I love to stop in at this Texas roadhouse. The place is always clean and taken care of. The service here has always been great. The manager has been awesome. The food is always cooked well and comes out the way you wanted. I always get the Dallas fillet. But today I tried the salmon which was excellent too. Our 1st time at a Texas Roadhouse. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced for the quality. Ribeye and Sirloin were tender and tasty as were the salads, sweet potato, mashed potatoes, Cactus blossom and of course the ROLLS! The raspberry lemonade was SO good, not the cheapo fake flavor found elsewhere. Service from our server Luis was great- super friendly, attentive and quick for as busy as they were! I wish I'd taken entree pics but it looked so good we dove right in. May have to come back to TX just to eat there again! read more

And the price have gone up so much that my husband and I can't afford it anymore! With both of us and our grandson together However, what we manage to do, is go up to a size 16 ounce steak and then I'll order a side like a baked potato perhaps and we'll split the steak. Another thing we done is order and it comes with two sides and I'll get one and he'll get the other That makes it easily affordable and he needs more than an 8 ounce steak honestly! And if you're going to a good steakhouse, which they are, I get anything else? Though it's all good that they serve. did I mention the salad dressing for their salads? They say it's made in -house and I would believe them with as good as the salad dressings are I love to get a side salad, but to get that, as well as a potato and a steak, I'm never able to finish it at all. This is very loud so if you're autistic or sensory impaired, I would go on off hours where there's not going to be a lot of people in there. Also, if you're in a motorized chair, it's gonna be very hard to get in and around because it's always so busy and it's simply hard to walk through let alone try to steer a motorized chair through. they are good with takeout though. So if you have trouble getting around or you just want a good nights dinner to share at home in front of the TV, they are good place to go. They cook the steak right. The salads are fresh the bread is to die for , as I said, good food just on the expensive side. I am very selective about giving out 5 stars, but I can tell you that this restaurant was deserving of the 5 star rating. They got it on the interaction with the hostess, service from the waiter, and the quality and taste of the food that I ordered. Upon arrival, the hostess immediately greeted us with a smile and a genuine greeting. She immediately whisked us to our table and wished us a great meal. Our waiter quickly arrived at our table, greeted us with a friendly smile, and took our drink orders. Within moments, our drinks arrived and because we were hungry, we already knew what we were going to order. The waiter took our order lickety-split, and all we had to do was talk about work and life while waiting for our food. After an acceptable time, our food arrived. I ordered a side salad with ranch, the 16 oz prime rib, medium rare, and steamed broccoli. All I can say was, aside from the fat that I trimmed from the prime rib, my plate was pretty much clean of any food scraps. It was that good! The prime rib was cooked perfectly and seasoned just rice. The au jus and creamy horseradish just made my taste buds explode. You definitely can't go wrong with the prime rib here. I'm visiting my brother in Lawton OK to help him during his recovery from knee replacement surgery. We were headed to Chick-Fil-A but the line was insane to go through drive-thru and they had their dining area closed so we headed off to another spot. I saw Texas Roadhouse and have always enjoyed the food so we did a 180 from chicken to Steak ( & also from cheap to pricey). I noticed the tables were cleaned and sanitized between customers, all the staff were wearing face masks and they have partitions up helping with the social distancing. We were offered the opportunity to choose the steak we would want from the front, but we decided to just sit and order letting someone else choose the steak for us. We were seated rather quickly and our waiter was there to greet us. Our waiter was an upbeat, personable, funny, and entertaining young man named Buzz. ( Don't try any jokes as he has heard them all " Buzz Lightyear" "Buzz Aldrin" etc...) He was on top of everything, refills, checking in to ensure we were good with our food, sauces, and everything else. The food was outstanding as it usually is here. The bread was fresh, warm, and delicious. I ordered the Fort Worth steak covered in onions and mushrooms. My brother got the prime rib also covered in onions and mushrooms. So this place is the place to go in Lawton if you want a decent steak. They don't have many choices it's always really packed. We sit at the bar so it's a short wait otherwise you are waiting 45 plus minutes. They do have a get on the wait list option I believe but I am not sure. Anyway we alway get the 8 oz sirloin add mushrooms and Cesar salad. The steaks were cooked perfect this time usually that's the thing you will find inconsistent at this road house. Sitting at the bar you always get fairly good service. I would rate tonight 3 1/2 if I could service was slow the bartenders were talking to each other a lot not paying the best attention to guests. The Ambiance Texas Roadhouse is very friendly and family oriented. The Texas Roadhouse in Lawton also has the privilege of supporting our military at Fort Sill and therefore you often get the privilege of seeing graduating classes, patronizing with their families. It's an awesome thing to behold for sure. The service is so great, we have never had to ask for a refill and they are on top of things without being on top of you, with friendly attitudes and great suggestions. We almost always go to Texas roadhouse for the Steaks. They do not disappoint and their sides are delicious. We have tried other things on the menu and they are equally as good but it is our go to when we want a nice steak. I don't think we've ever waited longer than 15 minutes for a table and that is because we prefer a table over a booth. There are tall bar height chairs but these are not suitable for the disabled persons In my family. We did not stay for a dinner for 6 people. This is a COVID Era review. Not all diners followed safety protocols but all staff members did at all times. The service was prompt, attentive, and polite. The food was prepared as we ordered, with some specifics- no egg on the house salad and a baked potato, loaded on the side. They came as ordered. My nephew had a steak I believe it was an 8 ounce sirloin, he said it was great. My mom had the chicken critters also great. I had chicken fried steak, I'd been better off,ordering roadkill off of some hobos campfire than what I received. I was extremely happy with our server until I received this. Yes the manager took it off the bill but still it was my last dinner with my mom before I go home and with her age, it may be the last dinner I'll ever share with her. it was my choice to come to Texas roadhouse because I figured it's safe enough that I wouldn't get sick and I would have a good meal before I go home. I feel my server should have seen this before she brought it to me. That's what's most disappointing. How someone can let this leave the kitchen. It's not my first bad experience at Texas roadhouse. Just my only bad experience at this particular Texas roadhouse. I paid $100 to watch my mom and my nephew eat dinner. The server offered to have it remade but we all know that it's gonna come with extra. We also did have a blooming onion. That was good. I did have one alcoholic beverage. It wasn't a total waste. Our food arrived lukewarm, over cooked and dried out. Our server was also slow refilling our drinks, and brought us the wrong refills (unsweetened tea when we had been drinking sweet). I had to wait as it cooled down even more while waiting for hot sauce. They forgot the ribs. Rolls were cold and hard. Texas Roadhouse in Lawton is an amazing place to get a first class steak. I base this review of dining at what are ranked as the top 10 steakhouses in the US over the past quarter century. Will you find white table cloths and 30,000 bottle wine cellar? No. What you will find is a steak that is hand-cut on premises, cooked to your requested temperature, and properly seasoned that will not set you back starting at $60 for an 8 oz filet. Speaking of which, I had the Dallas 8 oz last night (med rare) that beat the pants off a $60 similar cut two weeks ago at a five star in Dallas. The appetizer, Rattlesnake bites were extremely salty which we did not finish and left behind. Cheesburger meal was correct but 2 - 12 oz ribeyes which were suppose to be medium-rare was served hard medium. They were tough, chewy, and not so tastey. 1 ribeye had about a third of it pure fat... why serve it? only response from server was "ribeyes come with fat" to dismiss the complaint. She was quick to take the plate with leftover pile of fat away to get rid of it. When the check came...military/hero discount was annotated as 10% but was actually 5% of total. What the heck? Well, in the end we left 15% instead of the usual 20% tip. Guess we will not be returning here for a very long time if that. read more
