First time here. We got a family meal that included 12 tenders, 10 wings, 2 sides and Texas toast. The fries were okay and the toast was on point but the main courses were way off the mark. After four cars I t he drive through after us were given their orders and pulled away I went inside. My food was ready on the counter. So, I am only starting them off with 3 stars because there is always room for improvements. The food is actually good, they have a variety of choices and combinations to consider. Sadly they were out of waffles because of their free promo over the weekend but that is to be the next review chicken and waffles. The staff was friendly and suggested their favorite items they tried so far. Price is not at all bad, I had 5 wing, 5 tenders, fries and a large drink for $14, they also do military discount and tax exempt. That alone is a major plus. Let me start by saying that this i one of the best places to get chicken. The chicken was very moist and crispy. They have many different sauces some spicy some mild and all of them are good. Thy have great peach tea and the toast is pretty good. Personally the best thing here is the mac and cheese. The max and cheese is creamy and delicious. Well, my wife and I thought we'd give the new place in town a chance. We ordered online with the delivery option. The app worked well, told us who was delivering, and that our order had been picked up. The delivery guy knocked on our door, I answered the door, noticed he was just getting back into his car. I said thank you and he said you're welcome. So far, so good. Then I noticed just one drink on my porch. I know we ordered two. Too late, the driver was gone. I checked the receipt. Yup, two drinks, one delivered. We contacted the store thru the app, selected the correct entry from the drop-down window, and were reimbursed the cost of the drink. Inconvenient, but no problem. In the bag...There was one straw for the one drink. However there was no plastic flatware for the sides, nor any napkins. A couple of wet wipes would've been a nice touch too. I hope they step it up and check delivery orders before they go out. Now for the food. The coleslaw and potato salad are excellent. The chicken tenders are as good as Chick-Fil-A. The plain wings (as I ordered them) were so-so. Standard wings. The Slim (house) Sauce was fairly bland. It looks and smells good, but has no distinctive flavor. However, the Garlic Parmesan Sauce was excellent! I'd use it for pizza bread/crust too. Long story short, we'll try them again, but we'll go in person to make sure we get everything we think we need for a particular order. The only reason I'd give it 1 star is the nice drive through girl, other then that the manager or whoever acted like the big boss was very unclear and rude with his words, I made a doordash pick up order for after work to get dinner and a snack for my child, the one thing my kid wanted was mac and cheese, we order, we get there 15 minutes later and at the drive through im told all the fryers are out and they can't make anything, but my order was done before the fryers "broke" but no mac and cheese, told me I could get a refund and I can't, they pretty much scammed me out of 4$ but the moneys not the point, if something's NOT available why is it listed ?? This was my first time ever eating at this place. I heard good things from friends that have had it back in their hometown. This location was built within the last year I believe and I just tried it this past week. I went to the drive-through gave my order to the gentleman that was standing there in the drive-through because I think that their intercom/menu option was not working at the time. The individual taking the order was rude and had terrible customer service. I proceeded to drive to the window and they were two cars in line in front of me, one was at the window one behind that one and then myself. I receive my drink while still be in the third car in line. About 12 minutes goes by and I am now at the window waiting to receive my food. I am not kidding at all when I say I waited for 30 minutes at that window and nine cars behind me had received their orders and drove around me. There was a female worker inside that had asked me what my name was three times and then questioned whether or not I had even ordered. I was asked to show them my bank account that displays a purchase from them for the food. About another eight minutes goes by in the manager comes over and asks if I wanted to talk to him. I never asked to talk to the manager I just wanted my food. The manager provided me with a little extra chicken and a brownie jar. So after about a total of 50 minutes from when I had ordered my food to receiving it I was able to drive away. I pulled over and ate in the parking lot. I just ate the chicken wings and not the chicken tenders. When I got home I went to throw away the bones from the wings and noticed that the wings were still pink inside. So not only did I wait 15 minutes for my food, but I also was given under cooked chicken. The only thing that was good this place was the brownie jar. The brownie jar was amazing that was very very good. If I ever returned to this place again I am only ordering a brownie jar. I thought the chicken wings were good until I found out they were under cooked. The manager seemed knowledgeable and kind. The workers seemed confused and the person who took my order was rude. Not sure why everyone is giving bad reviews. This place was awesome! I got the chicken strips & fries, there was a sign on the door that they were out of wings. "Let's go Brandon!" The strips were hot & juicy, honestly some of the best I've had in a long time! Fries were really good too. I bought the brownie jar, only because of the other reviews. I've tried Slim chickens in the city (OKC) & absolutely loved it! So I was super excited to hear they were opening one here locally (Lawton,OK). I came here about 2 days ago & tried they're chicken & waffles & let me just say they are to DIE for!!! They are so delicious! The perfect combo between sweet & savory! The chicken was lightly breaded & juicy! The restaurant atmosphere was great, very welcoming and friendly! The staff is so nice & helpful. I also liked the well maintained cleanliness of the restaurant that was a major plus for me. The manager was amazing , well mannered, & seemed very knowledgeable. I had a free chicken sandwich from downloading the app. I also bought fried mushrooms, fried okra, and Mac cheese. Ok, first the sandwich...was delicious with both top and bottom buns buttered and the crispy juicy chicken was heaven. My Mac and cheese was super delish with extra creamy cheese and pasta cooked to perfection. On a scale 1 to 10, 20 ... My husband and Mom loved the mushrooms and the okra.
