This is by far the best breakfast restaurant I have had in Lawton so far! The staff is always friendly and the food is always good! This is my favorite place to go for a good breakfast. They have their own personal parking lot, but it gets so busy that you have to park in the next parking lot over sometimes and walk over.

Found this gem while visiting our son who is a Lt in the Army. What a delicious breakfast we had and the service was friendly and great! We walked in, greeted and seated and served coffee right away. Ordered our food and it came out shortly thereafter. Next time we're here we will definitely be back!

Jimmy's Egg.... Why did the egg hide? It was a little chicken! Kids menu jokes are good as well as the waffle with egg and sausage. Kids Cinny Roll pancakes are more than enough for my teen since he's not the biggest eater Skillets are really good especially the Country Skillet with eggs over medium. Good gravy, plenty of sausage and bacon with seasoned hash browns. Why do chickens lat eggs? If they dropped them they'd break... oh boy. Lastly is the coffee which is a good cup of joe. Love to watch the cook staff enjoy their job

First restaurant we ate at in Lawton. We wanted a restaurant that served breakfast and we found this restaurant close yo our hotel. We were greeted warmly by one of the waitresses and she showed us to our table. Great selection on the menu. Biscuits Gone Wild with grits-huge portion, great flavor. Biscuits came with gravy over them with ham, sausage and cheese and eggs on the side. Grits was served on a separate bowl. Consistency was good and smooth but it was flavorless. Added some ground pepper and some of the cheese which came with my biscuits and gravy. Traditional Bacon, pancakes, eggs with hash browns on the side- huge portion, came with 2 pancakes. Hash browns were very good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside California Clubhouse sandwich - humongous sandwich with bacon, eggs, cheese. It was pretty good. Eggs, sausage and toast combo-this was pretty straight forward. Cinnamon Roll - very good, moist, and perfectly sweet. The service though was great. Our waiter was very nice and helpful.

First time trying, and our waiter & waitress, Ryan, and T, are excellent!! The food was great, and the atmosphere was super friendly--definitely , a must-try if you have not.

So when I originally moved here I wanted to come here super bad until I realized it was a chain. I don't like to go to chains and prefer small businesses but I at least had to try it and I'm glad I did. It's a cute restaurant that accommodates large parties. They have pictures of their food hanging everywhere with booths and tables. The food is super good. The portions are huge!! I had the two meat combination with bacon and sausage, two eggs over medium, biscuits and gravy and potatoes as the sides. Their potatoes are the homemade square potatoes, which are my favorite! Crispy and delicious is your over medium egg and the gravy. The serving was HUGE, I couldn't finish all my food and I had two plates for my one entree. Their prices are super reasonable as you get a shit ton of food. I will definitely be coming here again especially after a huge hangover!!

Food was delicious and fast. The restaurant kitchen manager was amazing to watch. We could see him working from our seats barking out orders with militant precision! Our large family order came out quick, all at the same time, and correct!

We were recommended this over all other breakfast stops! The food was delicious! The menu has a great variety! Wait time was short! Server was friendly and attentive! Gotta say this place is definitely a place to visit for breakfast! The $$ were affordable!

I have been here twice, and the service is very good! The two waiters we have had have been very attentive. In my opinion, the food is better than choosing IHOP.

Decent breakfast, but nothing to write home about. A little pricey due to the egg shortages.

I asked for hot sauce, and the server give it to wrong table. Let's just say I finished my breakfast without hot sauce and coffee.

The food and the price were good. Service was very slow, but other than that, I would recommend it.

Route 66 Café at the Market may have been another stop for our Oklahoma Route 66 Passport, but this…read moreis the kind of place I would seek out even without a stamp involved! After several stops along the Mother Road, my wife and I were hungry--but we still had a long drive home. We decided to split lunch and debated between the chicken-fried steak dinner and the chicken-fried steak sandwich. Either way, chicken-fried steak was going to happen! The sandwich won, and it was an excellent choice. As a self-appointed chicken-fried steak connoisseur who has sampled them across Oklahoma, I can confidently say this one ranks near the top. The steak was tender, the breading was perfectly crisp, and they added just the right amount of mayo. Nothing fancy--just a really well-made and delicious sandwich. We also ordered fried okra, which arrived before the sandwich. It was piping hot, crispy, and cooked exactly the way fried okra should be. We happily munched on it while waiting for the main event. Natasha provided friendly, attentive service and brought us an extra plate so we could easily divide the sandwich and fries. Those small touches make a difference. The Route 66 décor and classic diner atmosphere added plenty of character. It felt like the perfect place for our final road-trip meal before heading home. Clinton is a little over an hour and a half from our house, and I would gladly make the drive again--especially since breakfast is my thing and that menu still needs to be explored! Passport or not, Route 66 Café at the Market is worth seeking out. Order the chicken-fried steak sandwich, don't skip the fried okra, and make sure you bring your appetite!

I made a quick detour off I-40 at Exit 66 to visit the iconic Cafe 66, just five minutes from the…read morehighway and impossible to miss. From the outside, the branding leans heavily into the Route 66 identity--logos are everywhere, setting the expectation for a nostalgic roadside dining experience. Stepping inside, however, the atmosphere takes a different direction. Rather than embracing classic Americana, the décor feels modern, highlighted by whimsical cow artwork adorned with flower crowns. It's charming in its own way, but not the vintage Route 66 ambiance I was expecting. One thing that deserves high praise is the cleanliness. The café is immaculate, from the dining room to the overall presentation, reflecting a team that clearly takes pride in maintaining the restaurant. The food, unfortunately, was less memorable. The oatmeal was overly thick and dry, lacking the creamy comfort you'd expect. Buttered toast carried an off flavor, suggesting the griddle or butter station could use a refresh. The signature pancake, dusted with a powdered sugar "66" logo, was visually appealing and easily the meal's most Instagram-worthy item, but it too was disappointingly dense. Where Cafe 66 truly shines is its service. Every staff member I encountered was warm, welcoming, and eager to help first-time visitors feel at home. Their hospitality left the strongest impression of the visit. In my opinion, Cafe 66 seems to be transitioning away from being a destination built on Route 66 nostalgia and toward becoming a dependable neighborhood café for the Clinton community. There's nothing wrong with that--in fact, it's probably the more sustainable business model. But travelers seeking an authentic trip back in time may leave feeling that the iconic branding promises more nostalgia than the dining experience ultimately delivers.
