I can't possibly write a review as positive as my experience here. The parking lot was packed, so I expected a long wait. However, we got seated right away because this place is huge with lots of seating. No joke, every staff member was smiling and friendly. Great fresh food, fast and friendly staff. My coffee cup (great coffee) and my wife's water were never empty. Their hashbrowns are the best, freshly shredded potatoes, not frozen. I made the mistake of coming to Jimmy's EGG on a Saturday at 10am. I was seated immediately but it took an hour to get my food which was nasty. I watched 2 families be seated after me, receive their food and leave by the time I got my food. Will not be returning. read more

This is our second visit to this Jimmy's Egg, and to be honest I would have rated our first visit higher. This time however, we were a little disappointed. We visited early on a Sunday morning (9-ish) and they weren't terribly busy. We sat down and noticed the coffee cups and silverware looked dirty. My wife ordered two eggs over easy, bacon, hash browns and the Cinnamon Roll pancakes. Her pancakes and hash browns were a little undercooked, and the pancakes were not nearly as good as they were on our previous visit. They only slightly resembled what was pictured on the menu, had little icing and barely tasted of cinnamon. I had the "Garbage Breakfast" (two eggs over easy, hash browns topped with grilled onions, bell peppers, and sausage crumbles). My eggs were ok, but the everything else was a little undercooked and not very seasoned. We'll probably give Jimmy's Egg another crack, especially if our free hotel breakfast sucks again. read more

The food was mostly good; however, the poached eggs on my Eggs Benedict were hard-cooked, which was a major disappointment and ruined an otherwise great dish. Additionally, a man was walking up to tables, and mine included trying to run a dice game on customers with no challenge from the staff. My nephew made it clear he needed to leave our table alone. He was then observed dropping a napkin over the cash tips sitting on empty tables, then swiping both up. Jimmy's Egg needs to do better. read more

Service was good, food was great. My issue was how they sold sides. I had the chorizo bowl. The waitress asked me what side I wanted. I decided on bacon. Imagine my surprise when I got the bill and the three slices of bacon was $3.49. I wasn't asked would I like a side, indicating that there was a charge. Went for 1st time Wednesday May 24, 2023 with my husband, daughter and 2 grandchildren. Not only was the food delicious, our server Ryan went above and beyond to give us outstanding service. Next time we are in the Lawton area it will be our go to for breakfast/brunch. Far better choice and quality than any Another Broken Egg restaurant that we have been to. Uhhh well we went for my birthday breakfast we're new in the area so this place looked good.... WELL that was DISAPPOINTING to say the least! My waffle was soggy and the hasbrowns were RAW in the middle. I brought up that they were raw and she said she'd get new ones but I had already lost my appetite and said no thank you. She left the hash browns ON the ticket... my husbands egg skillet wasn't anything special and for the price it shouldn't have had particularly cooked potatoes. Located right next to a little hotel in Lawton. Super friendly and fast service- I think we had only waited maybe 10 minutes after ordering for our food! Everyone seemed to enjoy their breakfast... Food was cold, hash browns tasted burnt and was barely a serving. I normally dont order biscuits and gravy from here but i wanted to have some today. I chose b&g for my second side and was very disappointed. Biscuit was huge and very dry, there wasnt much gravy. I tried to work with it but by the time i cut it up, took the first bite it was nasty and COLD. We usually order from Jimmy's Egg once a week, and its getting to the point where the food is always cold and not enjoyable. I'm a big guy. I eat alot. I love Jimmy's Egg. Let me start by saying I am a big believer in breakfast foods. I love them. Nothing better than starting your day with a hearty breakfast. I have been there three times and I am stuck on the meat lovers skillet. The portion size is the enormous. Fried potatoes, sausage, bacon, and monteray jack cheese. I ordered an extra side of bacon (crispy and delicious), and a side of biscuits and gravy. The gravy is outsanding and the biscuits are light and fluffy. I can't get enough of this place. It's just what Lawton needed. The lines are a bit long, especially on the weekends, but that is to be expected. The service is fast once you sit down, and I really can't think of any thing negative about Jimmy's Egg! read more

The buttermilk pancakes were salty [whats up with that?] the processed ham slice seemed to be under cooked! [Again, what up with that?]. Summary: Three stars because the food was just meh. It's okay if you need a quick bite & a large selection of breakfast items though. Don't order the fruit cup unless you want to be disappointed. Pros: The food came out REALLY fast. It maybe took 10 minutes, possibly not even that long. There are a lot of choices on the menu and you can order a "mini stack" of pancakes as your side. Cons: The food was kind of bland. I ordered the fruit cup as one of my sides, and it only contained grapes and three strawberries; that would have been okay if most of the grapes had not been spoiled already.... Our waitress was nice until we got our food. We felt rushed by her after that, since she immediately slammed the check on the table and kept cleaning up around us while we were still eating. This might have been just a one-time occurrence, but as of now I am not feeling inclined to come back and see if it will be better next time. read more

Horrible service. The waitress was rude and left us alone for 40 mins while she sat with 6 others waitresses and ate and socialized and talked on her phone. We needed refills for 5 drinks. Our food was cold when it came out. Not one of the 7 waitresses checked on us. There were only 3 customers in the whole restaurant. She was not apologetic at all when I voiced our frustration. Not sure why this isn't rated higher. Almost did not come based on some of the previous comments. Had a meat lover scramble with Rye toast. Everything was prepared very well. Service was great. I dunno what I was expecting, but it definitely wasn't this. This was our first time here and we were so excited to try a new breakfast spot. We got into the restaurant, it was cute and small and well kept (clean). We were told to seat ourselves so we picked a booth. I looked over the menu which had some regular selections as most breakfast joints (pancakes, omelets, build your own breakfast etc). As soon as the waitress got to us she asked for our drink and if we were ready; no "Hello" or "Good morning". She looked bored or disappointed to be there. Brushed that off and we ordered the build your own breakfast, (two eggs, double bacon, home potatoes with onion and cheese and yogurt with granola and strawberry). We got our food pretty fast, it was nice. However, when you saw our food, it was flat, burned and totally a disappointment. My eggs, looked old and flat and had no appeal whatsoever. My bacon was burned around the edges and hard/tough to chew. My son (who LOVES bacon) took one bite and literally started choking. The potatoes were okay, but it was mostly onion and American cheese. My yogurt was fine. The waitress never asked if everything was okay, she never came to check on us, just to bring us the check. I let her know she over charged me for the add one (yogurt and granola) and she fixed it. My plate still had my burned bacon on it and most of my onion and cheese potatoes. No question how was everything even though you can clearly see a standard was not met here today. Overall it was very disappointing. I paid $17 total for a breakfast I did not enjoy. I have no intention of coming back, and I would advise others to stay away unless you like throwing money down the drain. read more

Super clean but the waiting service was pretty bad. It doesn't seem like the servers have any type of etiquette training. I was sitting at my table for about 15 minutes before they asked if I had been helped. The food was super plain and unseasoned. Don't get the chicken and waffles unless you want some super dry waffles and chicken tenders from Tyson. This restaurant is the type of place to bring your girlfriend when you're about to break up with her because she will dislike the place/food more than she dislikes being dumped. The place is apeshit busy at 11 o'clock on a Sunday morning and I am still out of there at 12:05, despite a 10 minute wait for a table. The food is well-made if unremarkable. We back to visit some family members in Lawton recently, and had the chance to try Jimmy's Egg. This place was pretty busy for a Friday morning, but that should say it's good right? We did have to wait a few minutes for a seat, but we did have a large party. The staff was friendly and quick to take orders. I had the cheddar bacon pancakes, and was not sure how they would turn out. I'm glad I ordered them, because it hit the spot. I have been coming to this Jimmy's Egg since it opened. I have seen different employees come and go but, there are still some original ones left. Others went onto management positions elsewhere. I have never been disappointed by the service or the meals. The staff is friendly and will bend over backwards to get you meal correct so you can enjoy your dining experience. The waitress Ms D never apologized, but gave me two sausages and said, "I'm only charging you for one." ...Thanks customer service?!?! Shortly there after she asks if we wanted a to-go box... Well to say the least she only brought my husband a box for his omelet. I still had half a waffle, two sausages and a bowl of grits! I started to wonder if she was okay? Did she have a hearing, sight or comprehension issue? Hmmm....To expedite things, I crammed my waffle and sausages into my husband's box and quickly ate my grits (again, no to-go container for me), so I could enjoy the rest of my breakfast at home. Now I will say that the senior waitresses are amazing here if your lucky to get one. Management may want to consider training new or inexperienced staff on the fine art of listening, confirming, cook and waitress dynamics and checking food orders for accuracy, correcting (if applicable), delivery, checking up on customers and refreshing beverages and closing the ticket and telling the customer you appreciate them coming in and to come again soon... I had heard this place was pretty decent so I decided to give them a try on a Saturday morning. I wasn't too terribly disappointed. I ordered the Farmers Scramble. It was very delicious except for the fact that half of my "home fries" that come with the scramble were way overcooked. They cook the potatoes separately and then top them with the scramble. I understand some people like crisp potatoes, as do I. However, these were burnt. The scramble came with a choice of bisquits or pancakes. So I decided on the pancakes. Nothing special, but tasty and cooked perfectly. The sweetness balanced well with the "savory" scramble. My waitress's name was Ally and she was outstanding. Within seconds of me sitting down she was at my table with a pot of hot coffee. She was very polite, attentive, and my order came out fast and hot. Definitely will be here again. They definitely know how to cook eggs. One thing I appreciated was that I noticed a manager compliment the "busboy" that he was doing an outstanding job. This showed me that they care about their employees as well. A business with happy employees is usually a successful one. When decent employees feel appreciated, they'll take pride in their work and themselves. Very rude walked in got ignored was told to seat ourselves. Two different families walk in after us they greeted them, sat them, grabbed their drinks super nice. With us we walked in they looked at us told us to seat ourselves in the back booths weren't offered drinks wasn't even greeted with a smile. What was so different between us was the fact the two family's after us we wearing casual nice clothes, and with us we were wearing literally sweats and a hoodie, because it was comfortable and also around 7:20 in the morning and just wanted breakfast. We were given no service just because of what we were wearing. Wouldn't recommend going, if I could give them zero stars I would. read more

Jimmy Eggs in Lawton has a variety of breakfast foods for any appetite. The waffles and breads are made fresh and to special order. The only draw back is this location gets very busy on Sunday after church. They generally don't have enough table bus-boys and if you get a junior server then you order may be delayed or come to the table wrong and they don't take carry out on Sunday when they are busy because people waiting in line have priority. Once you're seated the senior servers are excellent and the managers follow up. If you're in a rush keep driving but if you enjoy a good surthern breakfast after church it it well worth the wait. read more
