We stopped in for a birthday dinner and our server Charlie was on top of everything there was 5 adults and a toddle So it was a challenge. He laughed and smiled , never once made us feel bother some. We have had some really bad service not there but where a waitress was racist we don't look like we are rich but when service is top notch we comment and tip well. I was super impressed he is new to the area and is going back to Louisiana to help clean up after the hurricane. God bless him not for doing his job but for being a truly good person and going above and beyond to make our birthday experience worth remembering! I will defiantly tell our friends. I couldn't wait for the Estero location to open since I live in Estero and wouldn't have to drive 15 miles to Fort Myers which I would give 5 stars to. I have been to other locations when I lived in Texas which were just as good. Unfortunately I have to say I am very disappointed with this location, starting with the rolls. At first I thought it was due to just opening but after 21/2 months they should pretty much have the bugs straightened out, but the food doesn't compare to Fort Myers. I may find myself going back to Fort Myers if they don't get their act together. Update 01/12/2020 Went last night to give it a last chance to see if they improved. It was the worst experience yet. I requested the entre not be brought until we were finished with our salad. They came about 1 minute after we received our salads. They took them back to keep warm which I wasn't thrilled with. When they did come back with them the ribs I ordered were totally dried out and not edible. Even additional sauce didn't help. The manager came over and said he would make a new plate. He/they evidently forgot about them because 20 minutes later it was never brought. At that point I told them to forget it. I doubt that I will ever return to this location and go back to Fort Myers even though it is 15 miles away. read more

For just opening we were expecting the service to be slow or messed up. We were pleasantly surprised! The waitstaff was totally on their game. One of the kid meals didn't arrive with everyone else's dinner, but the manager spotted it right away and it was made good FAST. The kids were endlessly entertained with throwing peanut shells on the floor. We did call-ahead seating - HIGHLY recommend. The lobby and check-in process was slightly confusing/chaotic. This place has by far has been one of the best restaurants we have visited since Covid-19. Employees are very pleasant, attentive, and have good customer service. Food was good, chicken was tender. Seriously, best place in a long time. We've walked out of Longhorn at Gulf Coast Town Center because of poor service. Conners at Gulf Coast, Deromos in Estero, Olive garden at coconut point. Teds Montana at Coconut point. All with horrible customer service. We don't expect much, but when employees are not friendly, takes 10 minutes to be greeted after sitting down and must repeat simple request its not worth sticking around to see how the food tastes. These recent disappointing experiences have not happened when the establishments were full, busy or employees being overwhelmed. Roadhouse had employees who were genuinely interested in quality customer service. read more

My husband and I treated our son on his 24th birthday along with a few of his friends. The place was packed when we showed up on a Friday night but we were seated quickly. Our waitress Brooke came over within minutes of us being seated and greeted the 6 of us with a big smile along with a hello. The first two times we ate here the service and quality of the food was excellent. Last night however was disappointing. When we walked in I clearly saw all the guys cooking on the line not wearing masks. There was no signs clearly stating their covid procedures. Then we were seated and it took over 15 minutes before anyone came to the table, and when he did it was the manager. He took our drink order and then we were left for another 20 minutes before the drinks or our server Niki decided to show up, offering no apologies about not waiting on us. She took our order, very nonchalantly and went away, after that the food and appetizer were delivered with little wait time. We both ordered steaks and Niki never returned to ask if they were cooked like we wanted or to refill any drinks. We were just left again for about 30 minutes, no offerings specials or dessert was even offered. She finally came back to the table as we were starting to get antsy to leave. She then drops the check and leaves for another 10 to 15 minutes while we are just waiting to pay. The food was ok and our steaks were not cooked to order but Niki never came back to the table to ask if everything was good or not. We won't be frequenting this texas roadhouse anytime soon because our business isn't appreciated. You would think at 50% capacity our server would be able to accommodate any patron effectively but Niki you failed at your job tonight. read more

The meat fell right off the bone and the fries were excellent! Then decided to try the fillet.......... words can't possibly describe how good the steak was! Had dinner here last night with my wife and two friends. I had the salmon which was excellent and my wife had the pork chop. Meals are terrific and the place has done a hood job with the virus looming. One complaint/ they bring out the appetizer and then a minute later out comes the dinner. Is this a server issue or kitchen issue. This happens consistently. Either way fix it and they will earn the extra star. read more

I find it really off-putting at these type of restaurants where they try to trick you into add-Ons on your bill. For example, all toppings to your steak or fish are an extra $1.99 each. Yes, I can afford it but the way the server asks you "would you like mushrooms or onions on your steak?" Is a trick to add more to your bill and hence their tip. I can just see management having a meeting instructing them to up-sell in tricky ways. For this reason alone, I won't be back. read more

Excellent Excellent Excellent. We were here Thursday, 2.06.20 for dinner and this is our third time to this location and I'm so glad they are only about 5 minutes from home. The service is outstanding. The managers are always checking up on customers and helping out. Every so often a large group of employees stop what they are doing and join in on a line dance. It has a very upbeat and happy atmosphere. One of my favorite things is that the salads come out on a cold plate, love that. My husband and I were doing a rib eye comparison challenge awhile ago (who had the best value ribeye) and this place was not here yet. But, now I would have to say between Ruth's Chris, Outback, Longhorn and Connor's I would pick Texas Roadhouse. Ruth's Chris was outstanding and is still my favorite but you pay triple for that. I can come here and get a very nice cut, cooked perfectly and get entertained for a lot less. We will continue to return. Check them out!! read more

This location is great! Service is always fast and food is delicious. Our server was perfect, Maura did an excellent job. She was always on top it, we never had to ask for a drink refill she always had a glass on the table before you finished your current drink. She was fast with every request. We were given a wait of 10-20 minutes and were seated in 15 so no issue with that. When were seated waited a few minutes and one of the two bartenders came by to get our drink order. One water and one old fashioned. We watched as the old fashioned was made with a Splenda packet. The old fashioned couldn't even be finished by the end of the meal. She dropped off the drinks and came back in a few minutes to get our appetizer order. We ordered the combo platter. Waited another twenty minutes she came by and took our order and said she would go check on the appetizer. She brought it out and it was clear it had sat for awhile as the cheese wasn't even melted anymore. We asked her for refills on the water the next time she came by. Again waiting for twenty or so minutes. The other bartender stops by and asks if we need more water which we accepted. The table beside us is served and once again our server goes to check on our food and goes back to the bar without a word to us. A few minutes later a runner brings the food out. The burger was almost to the point of being burned. The side of veggies with the pork chop looked dried out and unappetizing. The mashed potatoes were made with large chunks of the skin in them. Both meals were salty. The pork chop was so salty I couldn't even eat it. When we mentioned it to the server she said she was sorry and then brought the check. Very disappointed in our meal. Went there the 2nd day they were open. More then enough workers and they were very attentive and quick. Food looked good but was so full of salt I couldn't finish it. I had a burger which was cooked a perfect medium but the amount of salt that was in it took away all the flavor of the burger and everything on it.
