This office cleaned out my flex account last year, but problems persist. They're saying I may need to come out of pocket another 2 grand due to more gum problems (which I thought were corrected my previous visit which cost over a thousand dollars). Also, just when you think you've paid your entire bill after cleaning out my flex, these mystery charges seem to spring out of nowhere and because I got billed the next calendar year, my FSA will not accept the payment. It started out as a friendly relationship but now, they seem to approach healthcare like used car salesmen. I have already switched dentists.

Then (even though I had an appointment with Dr Chang) I was switched to an Indian Dr, who had substandard equipment in the same office. She inspected my teeth (after my cleaning) and then proceeded to insert 2 hands to stretch my mouth out. (Never in my many decades of seeing dentists has this been a protocol) She said it was to inspect my gums. That was my first and last appointment with her and Waterview dentistry . I asked when Dr. Chang would be in and they were very vague about it, saying he comes in and they don't know when he will be in the office. I did my research into highly rated dentists. I do not want to be paying for substandard care. Will NOT be going back there ever.

I had to constantly follow up with office personnel regarding these crowns....and after all was said and done insurance would not pay at all...and I would owe about 5K. Before leaving the office, Dr. Lawrence said this needed to be done ASAP. Fast forward to today, new dentist didn't even mention these 2 teeth. So glad, I moved on from McKinney Smiles.

She started pushing some kind of permanent dentures that cost $40,000 PER ARCH. It seemed like she was desperate to sell these, so I imagine she gets some sort of commission or kickback. I didn't see a dentist until the last thirty seconds and he barely spoke to me. I didn't get the cleaning or exam that I went in for. Went to a new dentist, and she is currently working on repairing my teeth with fillings and a couple of crowns. Turns out, ALMOST ALL of my teeth are salvageable. Glad I got a second opinion!
