Following house visits/sales pitches from three companies, we chose Texas Made Windows and More to replace the 40+ windows in our home. They were not the most nor least expensive options, but wowed us with their customer service, industry knowledge and written warranty policy. They also came highly recommended by neighbors and online reviews alike. During installation the crew noted malfunctions with four of the windows received and installed. We had three subsequent house visits/window inspections from Jerry, his son & a regional representative (of note, these took MONTHS and repeated calls to execute). During these inspections various issues with installation were noted and recorded to include missing plugs, chips in windowsills from install, gaps in surrounding window material, and windows screens that don't cover the entire window opening as ordered/designed. Additionally, one large picture window has a very noticeable defect in the middle (as explained by the regional representative it is a blob of glue from the manufacturing process). Despite multiple post-installation inspections, accompanied by written and verbal confirmation of defects with intent to replace or repair, like other reviewers we too have been met with silence from Texas Made Windows and More. Phone calls are not answered and voicemails are not returned. This was a significant expense. Texas Made Windows and More, through their continued silence, has made it clear the defects and promised corrections (despite being provided in writing) will never occur. I'm posting this text of a BBB complaint made on 6 August on behalf of a friend and neighbor: On 29 January 2025, I signed a contract with Jerry Dixon of Texas Made Windows to acquire windows from a window manufacturer and install same in my whole house with a total contract value of $27,000. On 29 January, I paid 50% down of $13,500 via check and on 31 January paid an additional 25% down of $6750 via check, for a 75% down payment of $20,250. The 29 January contract noted an anticipated delivery time of the windows from the manufacturer of 4-6 weeks, which would be no later than mid-March. Due to TMW's non-performance of the 29 January contract and as amended, and in material breach thereof, I agreed to meet with Jerry Dixon in person on 27 June to discuss a refund, which resulted in the signing a second contract in which TMW agreed to refund me $17,820 via cashier's check to be hand delivered to me at my home no later than 18 July. Due to TMW's non-performance of the 27 June contract, TMW is in material breach of that contract as well. For virtually the entire time since the original contract was signed, communication from TMW on the status of my window order and also since the refund contract was signed, communication from TMW on the status of my order/refund has been evasive at best and nonexistent at worst. Accordingly, due to TMW materially breaching two contracts and holding my $20,250 since 31 January, I sent a legal demand letter mailed on 25 July via certified mail, return receipt requested, with receipt signed by Jerry Dixon on 29 July, that TMW immediately refund the full contract amount of $20,250 and remit full payment via cashier's check made out to "REDACTED" within ten (10) business days from 25 July 2025, or 8 August 2025. As of the date of the BBB complaint [6 August], no reply or contact has been made by TMW. read more

I paid a $4k deposit about 8 months ago and have not received any type of service or had a single window installed. They kept staying there were delays, starting in March, and have consistently been very hard to reach. Now I've been trying to get the deposit back and they are not responding any more. Deposit was paid 12/20/24 and it's now 8/18/25. read more

We had all of our windows replaced by this company in 2024. In February, 2025, one of the window balancers broke. We have been trying since February, 2025, to get it taken care of by the "lifetime warranty" Jerry promised. As of today, we have had little to no communication of when this will be fixed. All we have gotten is excuses and then promises it will be taken care of once they get the part from their manufacturer. It has now been 4 months and Jerry only ignores our texts. and phone calls. I would highly suggest NOT using this company based on their lack of follow up after the installation is complete. Jerry's promise of a "lifetime warranty" is a complete lie based on his lack of communication and ghosting you when you reach out to him. read more

And then he canceled out, so I went ahead with another company. I will say he sounds like a very nice gentleman, we had a wonderful conversation. But so many things went wrong, He never responded and then to cancel an appointment, I had to go somewhere else. My husband and I moved to Texas in August of 2021. The house was built in 1972 and still had the single pane aluminum windows. We reached out Texas Made to review the options on replacing the windows and the old French doors. The owner, Jerry Dixon, called us right back and arranged for Frank, the salesman to come out and take a look. He was fantastic and we ordered. Jerry and Frank measured everything and placed the order. With today's supply chain issues, they kept us updated and scheduled the work. Mike and Juan installed the windows and doors over 3 days. The improvement in sound and drafts was immediate after just one picture window. Everything is beautiful and the installation was fantastic. They left this place cleaner than when they got here! The processing of measuring, receiving free turn key quote, delivery of windows, installation and inspection for Texas Windstorm was smooth. The quality of the windows is amazing. For those looking to replace their windows / doors. I highly recommend giving Texas Made Windows and More an opportunity. Full review: Hurricane Harvey created chaos to many homes here in the coastal bend of Texas. Due to Hurricane Harvey's wrath, many people decided to put up hurricane roll down shutters throughout their entire home. I thought the same but due to architecture style of my home, hurricane roll down shutters were ruled out. In mid-2021 I decided to look for high quality impact windows that would not take away from my homes architecture style but enhance its beauty. My research led me to several windows installers from Corpus Christi, San Antonio and Houston. They all were willing to come to the house to measure and quote. For purposes of keeping this review short, I will comment on my experience with Window World. After contacting Window World in Corpus Christi TX, the manager immediately came to my home, measured and gave a quote. Part of their presentation was a sample window and heat lamps. Although the presentation process was interesting it did not influence me or convince me they have high quality windows. They were more about the visual show instead of the actual quality of the windows they can provided. What I greatly disliked about Window World is they are a franchise. So, it is just a Job not passion for the Job. According to Window World, Texas Windstorm insurance inspection was not included. They told me it can be arraigned. The inspector fees will include the first 4 windows installed then an additional fee for every two windows. They also told me there will be a long delay in delivery, installation due to material shortages, supplies, size of windows and the customization needed for the 4 eyebrow windows. According to them, the 4 eyebrow windows had to be custom made due to size and bending of the frame. To top that off, there was a fee for them to come and deliver the windows. Seems to me, they were charging in indirect ways for something that should be standard in the quote. After they left, I read many reviews and to say the least they were mixed. Many complaints had to do with windows not properly sealed and delays in window replacements they installed. After all of this, I did not consider them. I also looked at the other vendors but I decided not to go with them. Texas Made Windows and More: While in San Antonio TX, I met Jerry (Texas Made Windows and More, Owner) at the home and garden show with some demo windows. I briefly spoke to him what I was looking for, the style of stucco home that may bring a challenge and does he offer such a product and service but most importantly was he willing to travel to the coastal bend near Corpus Christi. Without hesitation it was a YES. After the event, he called me and we went more into details. Several days later, he came to my home with his employee to take measurements and provide a free quote. During the quote process we discussed the efficiency and quality of impact windows as well as making a few changes I wanted. The final quote was turn key final for a total of 32 windows (including 4 Large Eyebrow Windows), door, delivery, stucco repair obtaining proper permits and full independent inspection for Texas Windstorm. There were no additional hidden cost or surprises. Texas Made Windows and More has the years of experience, knowledge and warrantee that I felt confident enough to signed a contract for such a large job. My order was slightly delayed due to shortages with raw material at the manufacture level but Texas Made Windows and More always call me to update. Once all 32 widows arrived, they were delivered to my home from San Antonio, TX and installation began with a few days. The installation process took a week including stucco repairs. Due to my experience with Jerry, his crew, his company Texas Made Windows and More, willing to travel and ease of communication. I called Jerry for a quote for new windows throughout my entire home. The old windows were worn, old, and not doing a great job at keeping the temperature in my home stabilized. His price was reasonable and the quality of his work he showed me from previous jobs looked great, so I hired him. Him and his team came out to start and had everything they needed to get to work. I was expecting a huge inconvenience, but it really was not. His team was courteous and respectful and did an amazing job on the windows. They looked like they were installed when the house was built, completely flawless! Additionally, my air conditioning is not running all day keeping the heat out! Should have done this much sooner!
