After having my home leveled I needed my back door (to the backyard) re-aligned/re-framed and decided to install a storm door. I turned to Yelp and saw Phil as the reigning expert on door repairs. I called him to try to set something up and of course he was booked but being already in my neighborhood he said he'd stop by to at least check it out. Phil came by within 15 minutes and assessed the door. He knew exactly what to do so it was easy (in theory bc Bubba aka my house has nothing easy about him) and probably after feeling so bad for me he decided to squeeze my job in. **I will say with Phil you need to be patient because he's a person with a life and has other things going on so be open to waiting a bit. If you aren't patient and want a hurry and rush job don't contact Phil- he's not for you and he doesn't deserve to be treated badly.** Ok so, Phil finally scheduled me and secured an assistant (this was a 2 person job). They took a few days to do the framing and install of my storm door. He encountered some extra work that needed to be done because it wasn't done correctly before. I appreciate that he did the job that needed to be done and did not skimp me. As a single woman I felt safe and confide t with Phil. I'm happy with the job and am so excited to be able to use my back door again and to have a storm door. I have 2 cats that love the door which has a pet door for them to come in and out as they please.

I contacted Mr. Hernandez and he did agree to come but was very quick to start making excuses that my pipes were brittle and this and that. I have a 10 year old house(just built) so when you come and fix something I would assume you attach and fix everything properly. Sam wasn't the cheapest nor the most expensive painter I interviewed but I could tell right away that he cared about the details and making sure everything was done to my satisfaction. The estimate was fast and accurate and Sam even helped us pick out a new color for the trim. His contracts are very detailed and he tells you exactly what you're going to get and he even offered to alter the contract if I felt something needed to be added. The team started within a week and they did a wonderful job making our house look brand new again. We had several areas of our stucco that had cracking but Sam took care of all of them and even put a fresh coat of polyurethane on our front door.
