If you're looking for a great painter, at a reasonable price, who pays attention to detail, Riverside is it! Sam wasn't the cheapest nor the most expensive painter I interviewed but I could tell right away that he cared about the details and making sure everything was done to my satisfaction. The estimate was fast and accurate and Sam even helped us pick out a new color for the trim. His contracts are very detailed and he tells you exactly what you're going to get and he even offered to alter the contract if I felt something needed to be added. The team started within a week and they did a wonderful job making our house look brand new again. We had several areas of our stucco that had cracking but Sam took care of all of them and even put a fresh coat of polyurethane on our front door. Sam was there personally almost every day and he had me create a punchlist near the end. He personally walked through every item with me, ensuring everything was completed to my satisfaction. The team was professional, courteous, and they did an amazing job. If you have painting needs in the future I highly recommend hiring Riverside Painters. Excellent service. Sam's attention to detail never wavers, from his initial contact to developing the right paint samples all the way to the cleanup of the job. The prep of the house exterior was exacting, with the painters carefully addressing the large siding problem but also addressing smaller issues. Sam did the research for our atypical siding and used his connections at a lumber yard to get boards cut that worked. His crew showed up when he said to expect them and carefully and consistently worked. All were professional, careful, and polite. Sam was not the lowest bid we received, but every dollar was worth it. We have found no issues since they finished up. Sam came in, explained the process in detail, and was happy to answer all of my questions. Sam's price was very fair for the work to do and actually half the price of one quote. I'm reluctant to go with contractors without an extensive history, but liking to support small local businesses, we chose to go with Riverside. They arrived on time and spent the first day covering everything not to be painted, floor to ceiling and wall to wall. Day 2, they primed and 1st coated the cabinets. Day 3, they gave the cabinets a second coat and took down the plastic, then started installing the doors later that afternoon. The next day, we proceeded to inspect the cabinets of 20 doors, 12 drawer fronts, and the cabinets themselves and found 3 places that needed attention, which were quickly resolved. The price was the same as the estimate & I had no issues whatsoever with this company. Sam came out to give an estimate in person before I hired him. He came prepared with Sherwin Williams paint swatch books (the square paint colors papers) & placed it on the garage walls to help me choose a color. Compared to other companies, I was very impressed on their knowledge, ethics, and the completed job. They took down metal grates & tapped down what needed to be protected.
