I've come across packaged spices and snacks that were already expired, and in some cases, it even looked like new dates were printed over old ones. The quality didn't help either, the taste and texture were clearly off. Even with staples like lentils, it's worth double checking before buying. One experience that really stood out was when my dad bought cinnamon sticks from here. He was convinced they were fake because they literally tasted like plain wood...no aroma, no flavor, nothing. He was so frustrated that we actually went back to return them, even though we didn't end up getting a refund. Another ongoing issue is pricing at checkout. I've noticed multiple times that I've been overcharged, never less, always more. Sometimes I've been charged multiple times for a single item. When I've gone back to point it out, the response is usually just a quick apology, and nothing is really done to fix it. Because of this, I've started checking my receipt before I even leave the store. That said, I do want to highlight something positive. Recently, they opened a pani puri stand, and it was genuinely impressive. It tasted just like authentic street-style pani puri, fresh, flavorful, and really satisfying. That alone made me want to write this review. Overall, I'd rate the pani puri , but the grocery side of things is closer to . Definitely shop with caution, double-check your items and your receipt, but if you're stopping by for pani puri, it's worth it.

First you can find mushrooms that aren't available at a typical grocery store. At Whole Foods for example, you can occasionally get oyster mushrooms at around $14-$17 per pound. At Ben, $6.99/pound. King mushrooms, you might be able to find some at Whole Foods that are the length of you thumb for $15 per pound. I bough them at Ben today for $2.49/pound and they were as big around as my wrist and as long as a beer bottle. I can alway find fresh seasonal fruit and veg at half the price of Kroger and Whole Foods. When you're finding regular grocery stores are low on rice and noodles, Ben had pallets of all kinds of rice and aisles full of noodles. Oh and the prices are so much less. There isn't an Asian sauce or seasoning that you won't be able to find here. I don't buy meat, seafood or eggs however I did notice they were plentiful and the prices were well below Kroger and even Target. I've never had an issue with customer service. This behavior was absolutely unacceptable, humiliating, and completely uncalled for. No customer should ever be subjected to verbal abuse, false accusations, or public humiliation simply for questioning a potential checkout error. The supervisor's behavior demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, respect, and basic customer service. the supervisor even pushed her cart far away so she couldn't get to it and made my mom get the grocery cart herself. that's when she noticed many of the items getting scanned twice. Then my mom wanted the cashier to stop so she can look what items were scanned twice. To make matters worse, this establishment also has serious issues with the quality and freshness of its products. I have noticed spoiled produce and questionable meat products being sold, along with an unpleasant odor that lingers throughout a significant portion of the store. 1 am deeply disappointed and disgusted by how my mother was treated. Customers deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, especially when raising legitimate concerns.
