I've passed by this place many times 15+ years, but never went in. Today was my first time! What a nice surprise! It's a decent size grocery store with great selections of prepackaged seasonings, fresh meats & fish. The freezer area has A LOT of different roti's, & naans, also samosas, gyro meats, cooked chicken snacks. Wish they had more frozen entrees, not just naans & snacks. THE CAFE IS A MUST TRY! The prices are reasonable, good selections, & boy... they were so good! I got beef Tezala (tejala) & butter chicken that come with basmati rice. Portion is enough for 2 people. I asked for mild bc hubby & daughter don't handle spicy. They both have GENEROUS amount of meat! The beef has bone-in meat pieces & yes some fatty meat that we like bc the fat makes food tasty. They're both fresh & so tasty. The butter chicken is creamy with just the right amount of sweetness, not too sweet like some other places. The beef was tender that it fell off the bones & so rich in flavor. Pretty generous amount of rice too. The staff are nice & friendly. The store staff greet you & offer help. It is a simple, non-fancy place, but it is a gem! Can't believe I never bothered to check this place out! read more

This was my first trip to Indopak. I came for middle eastern pickles and tea. I got what I was looking for and snagged a pack of coconut cookies for good measure. The store was clean and well organized. They had an excellent selection of teas, as well as spices, and produce. This is pretty much what I am looking for in specialty markets. The food is authentic and we love the veggie samosas! We ordered the lamb curry and chicken 65. Both taste great! Our order was correct and nothing missing. Despite seeing this place many time, I never ventured in. A few weeks ago I tried their cafe and I was BLOWN AWAY! The quality of the food is very high and the prices are unbelievable. 99 cents for a samosa! I ordered a few samosas which were all excellent, the chicken biryani (warning: chicken is on the bone), and the mango lassie. All 5 people who ordered after me while I was waiting ordered the biryani as well - it's clearly a super popular dish. Now for the naan. Oh my goodness was it good! It came with a variety of sauces. I tried both the plain and the garlic. I favored the plain with the sauces but the garlic was also outstanding. Can't wait to go back! Seriously worthy of 5 stars. read more

Great selection of veggies, whole grains, breads, from fresh to frozen. They have a restaurant, Beauty and other services as well. It's nice to have fresh lamb as well. You can even buy a whole lamb ! Love the dried veggie options. Looked for garbanzo beans every where and this is the only place that had them. You can definitely find all the ingredients to make stuff at home so it's salt free. So many sugar free options but most cookies contain malitol. Will be part of my groceries go to place to make Mediterranean foods at home! read more

I am a foodie, and I've passed this place many times. I went in just to explore. It put me in the mind of a mini HMart. There is the grocery store and small boutique type stores inside. There were so many things I wanted to try. I picked up a few snacks. Baklava was of course included. My happiest moment was when I saw the eatery. Samosas! Glory Be!!! I got fresh vegetable and chicken samosas with 2 types of chutney and a chicken patty. The samosas were good, but not the best I've had. Grocery ---- 4/5 -----Very spacious and clean grocery market. Due to the presence of a large south asian and Arab community in southern Arlington, IndoPak came as a relief. Meat section is outstanding and they charge much less than other Halal options in Arlington(import food market and international food market). The collection of fishes are also noteworthy. Overall, it's the best Halal Grocery in Arlington and way ahead of the other two competitors. Cafe ----1/5 --- The downside is the vegetable section and the cafe. Vegetables are almost never fresh. While some of the items served in the cafe is tasty, others are just bland. Especially Biriani is neither cooked in Bangladeshi/Pakistani style nor in Indian style. Its seems to be a straight mixture of Greasy Pilaf rice with dry meat/chicken. One of the worst birianis in the metroplex. Vegetable samosas and a few curries are the only items worth the money. The management should seriously consider changing the chefs and improve the quality of the food. read more

I was able to pick up some top, quality meats, and some other options to even be able to make some of the dishes at home and the restaurant inside I tried the brynini rice, the butter chicken, and the garlic naan and was thoroughly impressed. I order naans from this place .. and now plp who work there don't feel like working doesn't want to take order.. told me order of 10 naan is not good enough order curry too or no naans .. Try to complain and was told to call rehman on Monday .. I guess me and all family will take our business somewhere else even there store is nice but this service is going to prevent us going back there for shopping. read more

The food is pretty decent for a small venue. The store isn't as clean, I don't buy meat and you have to check expiration dates on their products in the grocery store. After an experience with one of their Suite renters, Cindy's Hair Salon Services Suite #112 will never visit that establishment again. Both the store manager, who also refused to give me his name nor Cindy Nguyen or Haoug Nguyen (she changes her name when she gets caught) would help me. Do not use the services there, she will give you a sob story requesting cash or Zelle then pretend nothing happen and not fix the issue. Bad service all around. Money lost. This makes it bad for small business owners. I'm now going to have to go to small claims court. All I requested was $100.00 be returned to me. Now I am on blocked. GROW UP! read more

This review was for the cafe inside. Store seems ok... My god in heaven do they ever drench their food in oil. Even the rice was swimming in oil. Got the chicken tikka masala special (monday). It was 'ok'. Got the chicken korma.. it was 'ok'. Got the egg rolls, they were cold and inside part of the wrapper was undone and gooey. Lady at cash register assured me that they were supposed to be like that as it was how Indians liked it!. After waiting 10 min for a refund, I just suggested I'd swap it out for the gulab jamun (1.29 for 2). She agreed to that but then tried to cheat me tax wise. Got the sweets and opened them to eat it. There I found two patches of mold, one the size of a pea, the other the size of a garbanzo). She apologied and gave me a refund. I love me some 'hole in wall' joints. Unfortunately a lot of times some of these are NOT very food with the sanitary procedures (unfortunately, indian places seem to be the worse ) I wont be back. read more

The staff was super friendly. I'm just excited that I found a store that sells middle eastern and south Asian products. I'm Mexican but love world foods! Stuff I found.... Pita bread, baklava, frozen potato somosas, apple pears, basmati rice, halal meats, filo bread, tahini. I do wish I could see as much variety as I was used to at my Mediterranean/middle eastern markets in California but I'll take what I can get. I'm coming back. read more

This review is for their restaurant inside their market. The employees don't smile back when you smile to them. Maybe they need a raise but still not inviting when you're the customer coming in smiling and the associate isn't smiling back. Second of all, I read some reviews about how oily Food is and Man, it's no joke. The curry had an inch of oil floating on top. And the beriani was drenched in oil about half inch at the bottom. I don't know if this is a Paki thing! But I love Indian food and never seen anything this bad. The prices are definitely cheap so of course don't expect much for the money. read more

I want to start out by saying I don't really have anything to compare their food to, but what I had was really good. I ordered: chicken samosa, chicken karhai curry, mixed vegetables (come in a really good sauce), pilao rice and chicken wings (my fall back in case I didn't like what I ordered). It's important to note that everything is ordered separately, rice doesn't automatically come with your dish. I honestly have zero complaints, for $14.56 I have enough food to eat at least 3 meals (for myself, not my family). The chicken wings were really big and good, they remind me of chicken express chicken wings (so prob not made fresh, but still good). I will definitely be back to try some other items! read more

Great place to have collections of southeast asian groceries. My concern is about the exp date of the products. Please check the exp date before going to buy. They need to improve the food quality of the cafeteria. Although the price of the cooked food is competitive to other local places but the quality needs to be improved. Their Chicken Biriyani ($3.49) needs a better cooking method. You can not eat the Biriyani after 3-4 hours, even after keeping refrigerated. I have tried other places like Mom's spice ($2.99), Texas King's ($1.99) but I never had any problem in preserving overnight. They may use something which helps quick degradation of the food. You can smell the rotten food within 4 hours. Except the cafeteria I would like to four stars but the cafeteria lowers it down. read more

I have been to the café inside the market twice. Once I got the Beef Briyani. It was great. The lady at the counter didn't even mind having to explain what a Briyani was to the white girl, who only came into the market because she thought world market meant she could get Japanese food. Not realizing that the Indo meant only middle eastern items in the grocery. The second time I went, I got the beef samosa and the veggie samosa as well as the baklava. It was Christmas eve morning and for some strange reason I was craving samosa, my only complaint is that they open at 10:30 but they didn't have the samosa made and ready until 11 so I ended up waiting thirty minutes but the nice girl behind the counter and I had a great conversation and when I ordered a few baklava to eat while waiting for the samosa she took my credit card even though I was under the 5 dollar minimum. The beef samosa were amazing but fair warning if you aren't a someone who can handle a lot of spice then the veggie samosa aren't for you. Those were like eating fire, good but spicy. Get the mint chutney and the tamarind sauce they were great for dipping the samosas into. read more

I can't say how much I love the cafe. Growing up in Texas, I had a limited culinary experience as a child. Dinner could regularly be fried bologna or white bread with cream gravy. Until I got married, I not only never had Chinese food, but doubt I ever had rice that wasn't served with butter and sugar. But I have grown some during these many years. Thanks to a co-worker that clued me to try this. I never knew it to be more than an ethnic supermarket. And now I love this place so much. And the prices! I can have two or three meals from say, the shrimp biryani (my favorite) for $6. Try that anywhere else. And I can shop the market while waiting for my to-go order. Many things are so affordable. 69 cents for chick peas. I love freshly cooked, but when I don't have an hour to wait for the pressure cooker, these will do in a pinch. And fresh liver! My wife isn't a fan, but it makes me happy. Tonight I ventured over to the butcher section. I've never noticed it before. Find lamb for $3.99 a pound anywhere. You won't. And this place is clean as can be. There's just enough time to pick out a few things to try from the store and then your to-go order will be ready. Did I mention I love this place??? read more

Be very careful of the product expiration dates. I bought a gallon of yogurt drink and when I came to open it a couple of days later I realized it was expired over two weeks ago. When I went back to the store, the owner said he would not do anything unless I have a receipt. Personally I don't keep grocery store receipts. But the store supposedly has a loyal program and I have spent plenty of money at this store and the owner could have easily accessed the loyalty program and seen when I was last there. Even the cashiers remembered me and my family, but the owner still wanted a receipt. It's a shame. I don't like to speak bad about a brother and his business, but this store and the owner definitely need to learn the meaning of customer service. read more

AMAZING FOOD!!! I have had quite a few things off the menu and I've never been disappointed. Chicken biryani is delicious the only think that could make it better is if the chicken was boneless and if they could try to pick out the big cardamom pods and other larger non edible spices that the rice is cooked with. Munching on rice and curry and then biting into a hard chuck of spices/seeds is unappealing, but don't get me wrong I will be ordering it again and again. The currys are the same with the bone in chicken pieces but the flavors are perfect. My personal favorite is the Chicken Karahi, it's spicy but not over whelming and the chicken in all of their dishes is cooked perfectly and extremely tender. The sommosas are very good as well! All in all a great and very cheap place to dine in or carry out. The staff is very nice and its usually not too busy so eating inside while it's hot is awesome. South Asian Grocery with a little cafe. I was the only ethnicity that wasn't from South Asia. All the Indian subcontinent groceries you need. Incredibly inexpensive food and very tasty. It has to be authentic. Samosas under $1. Chicken biryani for $3.50. Don't think they are skimping on the portions 'cause they are huge! If you are in the area looking for authentic Indian food and you are hungry, this is the place for you. This is a bit divey but good. read more

It was OK. The grocery section was definitely better than the hot food section. Ordered some veg samosas and kababs to go. Not the best I ever had. But considering this is Arlington, TX....what could I expect. Also, the store wasnt the most stocked and a little overpriced I felt. Probably the best indian, pakistani grocery store in terms of prices, cleanliness, and variety and ofcourse service. Cafe has improved with great tasting kabob rolls and chicken biryani. butter chicken was decent. Fresh naan readily available. Convenient location and very friendly staff. Keep up the good work. One suggestion is to maintain the produce section so I can make it a one stop shop for fruits and veggies. read more

Good selection of South Asian groceries, produce and halal meats. They also have a cafe within the store with above average quality of Indian/Pakistani items o n their menu. I tried their tandoori chicken, chicken biryani and kabobs and everything was good in taste considering the very few South Asian options available in the area. read more
