We first had half of the house fitted with new windows, then about 6-8 windows,and lastly we will be expanding the kitchen and there will be @ 8 windows and a slider. Texas Door & Window will do the remaining windows. They are professional , honest, and very helpful in educating you on what's new in the marketplace. They arrived on time, did what they said they would do, and stand by their product. The first time they installed windows, Carolina came to our home with his crew. He noticed our front door wasn't swinging shut like it should. Sure, I know why that was happening- my husband must think I am a LOT stronger than I am. We had bought a solid new mahogany door at Home Depot that weighed a few hundred pounds the year before. Lucky for me, we got to install it one Sunday and at first lift, I knew I was not the best assistant to help. A neighbor ended up helping us to get the door in the frame. Fast forward a year and we hired Carolina to install the first round of windows. We thought we had it plumb, but when Carolina asked if he could take the door off and fix it I said "absolutely"! When he finished he said "There, perfect! I didn't want to listen to that all week." It was a statement of someone who knows the door & window business. My son used Texas Door and Window when he remodeled an old rental house in Dallas. As you can imagine, everything in the house had to be replaced. Texas Door and Window provided solid core Lincoln style doors throughout the house, including a pocket door. These superior quality doors were beautiful and made all the difference in making the house "upscale". Unfortunately, the windows had already been replaced, but for the same price, he could have installed windows from Texas Door and Window that were of a much higher quality. There was a slight mix up on one of the doors, and Texas Door and Window brought and installed the new door all the way from Weatherford to White Rock Lake in Dallas, no questions asked. When I ordered the sliding glass doors for the front room of the barn, I got exactly what I wanted! The price quoted was the price I paid. The doors looked exactly as pictured. They fit the opening exactly as measured. I live in central Louisiana, and they delivered the doors to the build site, all the way from Weatherford, TX! Our windows were about 30 years old. We could not clean them because of the mechanics of the old windows. Texas Door and Window had previously replaced our old doors and we were more than pleased about their work. Carolina came and measured and presented replacement windows for the whole house.
