I purchased some sandstone rocks and two ceiling fans. The associate who helped me said that I could get a discount and free delivery if I applied for a card. So I thought, why not? I was led to believe that if I had the Lowe's card that I would be able to get free delivery in the future on additional purchases. My concern is that I was told this and it was not true. I did get a big discount which made up for the delivery fee which I did appreciate once I understood it. I just don't think it was very ethical for the card to have been presented to me in that way. I will say that the two associates who helped me were very friendly and easy to work with. In addition, I spoke with Dylan at the Weatherford store today and he explained it. He was also very nice as he explained to me that Lowe's in Weatherford did not do free deliveries. I have no problem with the products I purchased. I do feel that someone in authority needs to instruct associates that they cannot offer free delivery and present it as such. That does not seem quite ethical to me. read more

We ordered a leaf blower online for pick up because we also needed weed eater line. My husband went and picked up the leaf blower and we met at the exit. As we were leaving we got stopped and asked for a receipt for the leaf blower but my husband didn't receive one. The item beeped and she made it seem as though she was doing us a favor "in case we needed to get a replacement one day". She asked for the last name on the order and took the item back inside. She did nothing but verify we actually purchased the item however how was it on is that your employers aren't following protocol. Don't target us just because I'm Hispanic. Don't buy windows from Lowe's I purchased windows from this store last December and I still don't have all of them. They keep arriving broken. The store manager is no help. I went to Marvin Ellison the CEO of Lowe's and was assured they would fix this. Those windows were also broken. They offered to refund us for the three remaining windows but I still need windows and they all need to be the same. I've heard many horror stories about them since my ordeal with them. On Saturday, May 22, 2023, my wife and I went to Lowe's at 118 E. Interstate 20, Weatherford, TX. 76087 to return our John Deere Z320M ZTrak 42-in 21.5-HP V-twin Zero-turn lawn mower. We purchased this about 2 weeks ago and when I was attempting to use it to mow my property, it wouldn't start back up if I turned it off. Come to find out there was an issue with the John Deere Zero-turn mower. When I originally purchased my John Deere Zero-turn mower. I thought I was purchasing the Z315E 42-inch for $3,199.00. Come to find out after we had purchased this one. When the employee came to unlock it out front, they didn't have anymore of the Z315E in stock, so we had to go to customer service and Reggie helped us. We had to return it so we could turn around and purchase Z320M for $3,499.00 that they did have in stock. Reggie was very professional, courteous, and very helpful. We went to customer service to return our Z320M, we were lucky enough to have Reggie help us again. We had miss misplaced our original receipt, but Reggie was able to look up our transaction and she had remembered helping us. At first Reggie was only able to find the first transaction when we had bought the Z315E that we had to return to make the correct purchase. Reggie talked to a manager over their 2-way cell phone / scanner that they carry. I never got this manger's name, but I know it was a male and he was very helped. He was able to find the transaction number on our second purchase of the Z320M. Even though all this took over an hour to complete. Reggie was very patient with us and very professional and friendly like last time. I went outside to take the Z320M off my trailer and employee Conn came outside to help me. When I attempted to start the Z320M, it wouldn't start, and Conn immediately could tell there was issues with the Z320M. Conn put the Z320M in neutral and he helped me push it off my trailer. I was very unhappy with spending that much money on the Z320M and it not working correctly for me. I had made my mind up that I was going to go buy a Bad Boy Zero Turn mower. I explained my frustration with Conn who sympathized with me about my frustration. I told Conn about just wanting to return the Z320M and that we were going to go purchase a Bad Boy. Conn started talking to me and ended up selling me on purchasing the Ariens Edge 42inch 20-HP V-twin Zero-turn lawn mower for $3,499.00. I honestly didn't know much about any zero-turn mowers and Conn took his time and went over everything on the Ariens and this is what convinced me to buy it. Conn even double checked everything on the Ariens to make sure everything worked correctly. Conn was professional, courteous, very helpful and friendly. Conn assisted me when I put the Ariens on my trailer as he continued to help educate me on my new Ariens zero-turn mower. Reggie and Conn are a credit to Lowe's, and they are two of the main reasons why I will continue to go to this Lowe's instead of Home Depot. I waited 3 weeks for my columbine plants. They were bare root plants. I picked them two days ago and tried to plant them today. They were of the poorest quality and nothing but raw sticks with no foliage on them. They better be covered in Lowes one year replacement guarantee. Of the nine plants I ordered. Only two look viable. If this is what they ship after 3 weeks and represent this as their product. I will never buy anything from them that I can see the quality myself. I was there today at 1:19pm for a specific part that broke from a shower faucet and forced us to shut off the water. After going to Home Depot, where three associates were unable to help we went to Lowe's. An associate directed us to plumbing and called someone in that department for help. Bryan came promptly and was friendly. Showed him a pic of the part and he immediately asked if it was a mobile home or RV. He walked me over to the right section and handed me the part that I needed (bought two just in case) The experience was great! It's nice to have friendly and knowledgeable staff, and having items in stock. Associates at this store took the time to walk us over to the right place instead of just telling us what aisle number to go to. read more

This location is very hit or miss. We've been doing some renovations and picking up items with curbside pickup the last few months. The good: they usually have our items ready quickly, and bring them out quickly. The meh: you have to call to tell them you are there instead of being able to "check in" with the app like other places. The bad: the last time we picked up, the woman who brought our items didn't speak a word. We had opened our hatch as she walked up, and without a word, she just started putting stuff in our car. It was really awkward. When my husband said hi to her, she barely acknowledged him. Then she was done and walked off. There's also a woman who answers the phone that talks so quiet you can't understand at all. Also, we have shown up to the curbside and almost all of the spots are full of empty cars. They could do a better job at making sure those spots are only reserved for curbside customers. We will continue to shop here because it's convenient to where we live, but wish it was more consistently better service. read more

Extremely disappointed with this Lowe's. We have been spending a lot of time and money at this Lowe's with recent home renovations. After being advised incorrectly by a store associate about the tub and tub walls that we purchased. We bounced back and forth between calling this store and corporate and even the manufacturer of the tub. Finally after paying the plumber to install the tub we now had to pay the plumber to uninstall the tub and REINSTALL A NEW TUB. Corporate said once we returned the incorrect tub and purchased the new one then they would compensate us. Once we called back to tell them the transactions were completed they then told us we had to get compensation from the store because it was not an online order. Which we were unable to get. The final slap in the face was when someone reached out from "Lowe's customer service" and offered us a $20 E-Gift card. I DEEPLY regret opening a credit card with Lowe's. read more

This review is totally on customer service. We went to Lowe's yesterday to return an item and get some more stuff and my wife wanted to get some paint ideas for our new/old house. My mistake was that I wanted to get a key cut. I waited at the key counter about 5 min. Then went across the aisle to the "customer service desk" and ask them to call someone to cut a key. The lady called for an "associate to the key cutting area". Waited about 5 more min. and stopped another associate to call someone to cut a key and he did. Eventually I left the counter and went looking for my other stuff. I came back sometime later and actually found a man at the counter and ask him if he could cut me a key and he said "I'll call someone to do that for you". I went home without a key. Here we are a year later and I went back to Lowe's because according to their app they had exactly what I needed, three sets of kitchen cabinet hinges. Aisle 2 bay 12. Naturally when I got to the store that bay was full of staples and the hinges were in bay 2 and there weren't any like I needed. The app said they had 18 of them. I found an employee and he didn't have a clue. I called the customer Messinger number and thank goodness I got a very nice lady that found them in a nearby store and helped me order them and send them to my house. read more

If I could give this location zero stars I would on customer service!!! I placed an online order on 8-27-18 to pick up at my local Lowe's store on the same day. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out that way - strike one. I received the standard email it was ready for pickup, and I showed up to pick up the items, and it wasn't the color nor size of the shelf I ordered. After I corrected the employee it was the wrong color and item pulled, I was told the shelf was out of stock & I should get it in within 2-3 days. No apology or anything. UGH! They could of intra-store transferred the item over from Ft. Worth but nope nadda nothing done. Instead I'm told that their inventory was incorrect when I placed the order for the closet shelf and they didn't have the correct color in stock. Strike two! I never received an update on my online order status and had to play "phone tag" with the store to get things done. 10 days later and it arrived, no apology, no call to say "your order is in" and I had to call twice today and put on eternal hold to check if it is in to pick it up. Warning to customers do not shop at this location. Buyer beware! The associates act like it is inconvenient for them to help you. Management & employees need tutorials in customer service. Customer Service is a complete joke to these people. I live in Weatherford, and I am astounded by the lack of professionalism... My husband and I went in to buy a door. One of those aluminum storm doors, with a dog opening at the bottom. After some research we picked the one we wanted. It was on the second shelf and we needed assistance. We found Chris. Chris went and grabbed a lift to help and was able to get the door down. He then scoots it over to my husband and says "if you need a cart, there should be some by Lumber". Now, the door is heavy, not impossible for my husband to carry, but awkward and not at all light. Chris then goes back to his seat. My husband hands me the door to hold up, as he goes and searches. Chris then gets up from his seat, to stand at the counter and text... My husband comes back and we struggle to lie the door down on the cart, as Chris watches. Pretty crappy, but it is what it is. When we check out, Janita is in a bad mood. I know this, because she doesn't even offer a fake smile as we are checking out. She scans the door and light bulbs and says the total. When I ask if I can give her my rewards phone number she says, "For what?" That's it... two words. When I stated that it was for my rewards that is linked to my military discount she sighed, exasperated. After checking our IDs and verifying the 10 percent discount, she took my phone number. We have been going to this store for 9 years. We have bought carpet and tile from them as well. I'm sad to see all the negative reviews as we have never had any issues there. As a matter of fact we had a broken fan blade arm on our outdoor ceiling fan and tried to find the replacement online with no luck. We went to the store and they actually opened up a box and got a new arm out (a very nice guy named Robert) rather than us having to order the part ourselves. Went in this store recently to buy paint and had employees just look up at me standing at the paint counter and go on about their business. Not let me get someone to help you or I'll be with you in a minute, but look at me like why don't you go away. So I did. I think the only way someone would have stopped to help me would have been if I stuck my foot out and tripped them as they walked by, but I think even then they would just have kept on going. This is the second time this has happened, so I'm done. Going to a better Lowes or better yet, Walmart. Cashiers here are great and always helpful but that is only helpful if you can get what you want off a shelf and take it up front. read more

Had a horrible experience regarding my refrigerator order. Long story, so buckle up, or just shop elsewhere and save yourself. Ordered a refrigerator back last summer for our new house. Was told it would arrive in October. Okay, not Lowe's fault, supply issues. Our temp fridge breaks 1 week before delivery. I call Lowe's to ensure the fridge is arriving on time. I'm told yes by an employee who doesn't even put me on hold to verify. This is my first mistake, believing this. We have to ask a neighbor to help us for a week use their fridge. Date first refrigerator is to arrive I got a call and text confirming arrival. Fridge never shows up. Turns out it doesn't exist. It's not even manufactured yet. So I get another temp fridge and make due with a banged up used fridge with no shelves or lights and wait. We close in on new arrival date of November and I get a call that the fridge has been discontinued by Samsung... so I patiently go order a different fridge set to arrive January. January comes and now it's delayed to March.... So I say, get me a fridge that will come soon. Forget style and what I want, something, anything that works that will be here within the next week or two please. I pick a whirlpool. This is the third manufacturer. Fridge comes today and lights don't work... so I call. Can the delivery men take it so I can get a new one. I have waited half a year. By the time I get a response delivery men have to leave. This evening my husband goes in to either get a new fridge put on order for the next few days or at least get the money back so we can buy elsewhere. They can't give us money until they pick up the broken fridge they left and they can't get it until Sunday... wow. And they have nothing in stock that is comparable, regardless of what the website says. Which is funny because Best Buy and wayfair could both get me a fridge this week... Then they tell him they don't "want to inconvenience other customers" by making arrangements to pick this up sooner so we can get our money to buy elsewhere. So I have a fridge I can't use because it's faulty and going back so why put things in there and they have my money after waiting 7 months. Turns out Best Buy can get me a fridge by Friday. We do not matter to these people and I will be pulling all my business from Lowe's in the future. We have waited 7 months but they don't want to inconvenience other customers. My blood still boils thinking about this whole process. Please note these ppl have literally had thousands of dollars from us for 7 months, at one point $4400 because we ordered a high end fridge manufactured in the US in hopes that it would surely arrive, and I would have a fully functional piece of equipment. Run far and fast from high dollar items from Lowe's. Our door replacement showed up banged up previously and they offered us a discount and options on the spot, but a refrigerator apparently we don't matter and neither does our time, family or 4400 bucks... please Go to google and read reviews pertaining to appliances. I called Lowes to build me a fence. My appraiser said they could do it in one day seeing that I only had 130' of fence. I know I was overpaying for this fence, because I did not want to build it. I had to wait a week or so for them to build a 12' gate instead of a 10'.The first day they sent out Bevis and butthead who didn't dig a hole until noon. I complained, and three days later I had a fence. They still installed a 10' gate...Today almost two months later I have my fence. Totally dissatisfied! I still need a carport and shed. Was expecting to use Lowes..I'm cutting up my card and calling someone else!!! What a disaster! read more

Where to begin? Besides having to find your own buggy in the parking lot for lumber every time I'm there. Tonight I witnessed the poor lumber cashier page for help loading for 3 different customers multiple times. One customer needed a pallet down so she paged again. After waiting roughly 15 min or so I had her call the Manager on duty. She called twice and surprise surprise no answer. So I called the store from my phone and asked for a manager on duty to express my concerns and after waiting for 10-15 min I gave up. I know first hand what every code and procedure is for that store. I worked for Lowe's almost 4 years and not one of my store managers would have the parking lot always loaded down with carts nor allow anyone to ignore code 50's being paged over the intercom....... sad to see such a great store fall to poor customer service read more

We hit the jackpot this summer with the staff at Lowes. We are renovating a garage apartment and were so impressed by Candice in flooring who went above and beyond to help us get our order in a timely manner. There was so glitch between Lowes and the install people, but Candice stepped in to make sure it all ran smoothly and we received quality flooring at an affordable price. Then Heidi in paint was super friendly, efficient and gave me terrific advice on the right paint for my project without being asked. Good work Lowes on hiring these two terrific employees. read more

Employee attitudes vary greatly at this Lowe's in Weatherford, Texas. You never know what you'll receive, depending on the department. Sometimes they can be rude when you ask a question, expect customers to move out of their way when you're both moving or carrying material, and many times are engaged with each other and ignore the customer while the customer stands clearly wanting or needings someone's assistance. Some employees are top-notch and customer friendly though and have often made my experience with the store pleasant. I have spent many thousands of dollars at this store. Yesterday, however, one of their employees set a new low level of customer service which will have me shopping at their competitors' stores or at another Lowe's for a long time. The store made a temporary one-way lane near the garden center for pickup only. Not sure if it's Covid-19 related or just early spring volume. The one-way sign is obvious when you come in the main store entrance on that side but not when you come from the back part of the parking lot (there are high stacks of pallets for about half the parking lot). I parked far back out of the way of most vehicles. After I loaded my purchases, I began to exit from where I had parked behind the pallet stacks. I drove out and went the direction I normally do to leave the store when I park at the garden center. But I had entered the wrong way on their makeshift one-way lane. The good news is that there were no vehicles parked on or coming in the one-way lane. That should have been the end of that little faux pas on my part. But there was a young man on a forklift who was there to load vehicles when they pulled in. He saw me and I thought he'd pull out of the way, but he stayed directly in the middle so I couldn't continue. At first I thought he was doing something but then realized he was literally blocking my exit. He had about 30 feet of room to maneuver either way but just stared at me and sat there. When he saw that I wasn't going to back up (fairly unsafe at that point), he finally pulled to my left and was obviously cursing with a long string of expletives. As I pulled next to him, I rolled down my window and asked if he was speaking to me or wanted to say something. He said, yes, I said 'damn.' (I'm sure that at least one of the words he was saying.) Then he began a tirade about the damned customers who were in his way all day and going the wrong way and that he was tired of it. I told him that I had forgotten it was one way temporarily to try to be pleasant and change the tone of the conversation. But then he snarkly stated that I should have seen the sign that was posted somewhere in the back as well. I told him I hadn't seen it and that sometimes you just have to put up with the customers that shop where you work. He then said that he didn't have to put up with anything from customers. I had to ask him to repeat it to be sure that I understood correctly. He repeated the same thing. At that point I went back into the store and spoke to a manager about the circumstances and about my experience with his employee. Whether the employee is corrected or retrained is anybody's guess. Lowe's will no longer be my first choice for purchases in the future. Managers and supervisors are ultimately responsible for the conduct of their employees. I've seen and experienced enough poor customer service at this store to discontinue shopping there. read more

I called the store this morning to verify that they has a 42" Toro Zero-Turn lawnmower that was showing in stock on their website. I didn't want to make a 60 mile drive if they didn't actually have it. The woman who answered the phone was very polite and friendly and said that it did show that they had it in stock but that she was going to transfer me to the lawn and garden department to make sure. The man who answered the phone was very difficult to understand because he spoke very softly and fast. I asked about the lawnmower and he told me they did have two of them but they weren't put together and the guy who does that is on vacation and they might have one next week sometime. Now, I worked in retail for 21 years and our goal was to make sure that we either had what was advertised in stock or that we could get it in a very timely manner or offer an alternative solution. Maybe Lowe's is so big, and their business is so good that they can afford to turn their nose up at a $2700 sale, who knows. What I do know is that when I contacted a different company, I was told that they did have the mower I wanted and that while it was still in the crate, they would have it ready for me when we arrived to pick it up. We purchased a Maytag washer and dryer because we needed to replace our old appliances. When we paid the sales person told us we had received a rebate of several hundred dollar as per the sign posted which we did not previously see.WOW we thought what an added bonus to shop at Lowes. A couple of days later we received an email acknowledgement from Lowes headquarters informing us that we would receive our rebate in 7 to 10 days.That was in June. After five months and discussions with the store manager in Weatherford we still have not, and do not expect to ever, receive our rebate. The Maytags are great however. read more

Since I am remodeling a 120 yr old house from the ground up, I go to all of these DYI stores regularly. They all have issues with unattentive employees and products that don't live up to minimum standards. Twice I have had issues with products purchased there. In both instances the issues arose a couple weeks after the month long Lowes guarantee had expired - leaving me with the manufacturer's warranty which is engineered to be a time consuming, hoop jumping marathon designed to discourage you from using it to begin with. The Weatherford Lowe's manager is available and still cares about customer satisfaction. He made it right for me despite the Lowe's warranty being expired. Both times I was refunded immediately with NO fuss. I buy there first if at all possible. Thanks again to Mr Kelly the store manager. read more
