It had been a few years since I've been in one of their stores, and I think the last time I was here was because I was buying something off of a friend's wedding registry. Upon walking in, I quickly realized that it is time to do some updating in my kitchen. Lol. Somehow, I have been too busy cooking and not busy enough updating lol. My experience here was wonderful because of the sales person that I met. Deborah was amazing! While I like to cook and bake, I by no means am an expert, but Deborah was able to help me understand which direction I probably want to go when I buy my new set of pots. And honestly after the service that she gave me and the time and attention to detail that she gave me I would not purchase them from anyone but Williams Sonoma, and from her. Thank you for a wonderful experience and for teaching us about you all's Sunday morning events, and we will see you at one very soon!

There are so many options for toasters, pots and pans, tableware (an oh my - some beautiful table ware) and baking utensils. I'm ready to replace all my pots and pans now. There's a genuinely warm and inviting way with this store. We learned about the importance of copper pots/pans while taking with Deborah Pride. She truly knows her stuff!

I love Sur La Table and so easy to get lost in here…read more This trip I have a gift card so when I go back to pick up my sharpened knives. Picked up the knives all sharpened and on the clearance isle I found an ornamental loaf pan and look forward to baking. Oh and got a few frosting tips. There was a cooking class that was jam packed eager people preparing some sort of shrimp dish. It's been years since I took a class there but you should put that in your to do list. Such a fun store and love the employees.

Great experience, great food, and zero pressure. Just learning, cooking, and eating. Hard to beat that. Our instructor, Chef Michael, was fantastic. Knowledgeable without being preachy, confident without being arrogant, and genuinely fun to learn from. He explained the "why" behind what we were doing, not just the steps, which made the whole class more engaging and useful. We learned how to make lobster risotto that was rich, creamy, and surprisingly approachable. He also walked us through a fresh salad with a maple vinaigrette that was simple but elevated, and we finished with a perfectly cooked New York strip topped with a herb compound butter that brought everything together. The class was relaxed, interactive, and delicious from start to finish. You cook real food, learn techniques you can actually use at home, and then sit down and enjoy what you made. No rushing, no stress, just a really good experience. Highly recommend this class, whether you're a confident home cook or someone who just wants to learn a few new skills. We will absolutely be back. The Italian cooking class is next on my list, and I'm already looking forward to it.

If you shop in store, you will most likely be told they don't have what you want and to purchase it online. I did that. On Oct 16th, I purchased a buffet from the website. It was advertised as "In Stock" and "Ready to Ship" which was a selling point for me considering I needed the storage room urgently. My card was charged Nov 7th which is when the order is supposed to ship. I have now spent several hours talking to 5 different customer service agents and supervisors. It turns out this order never shipped and there was a production delay and is now backordered. I have waited 3 months and have received zero updates from anyone. I have had to call and follow up every other week because each person tells me a different story. I was told : 1. The item was shipped and at my local delivery center, there is just a delay at the dock and should be delivered in 3-5 days. This was in November 2022. 2. The item has not been shipped and the vendor has a backorder. It was supposed to ship, but then did not have enough stock, but they charged my card and now cannot do anything about that unless I cancel the order. 3. In December 2022, this item was on a seasonal promotion and was once again "in stock" and "ready to ship". I contacted customer service, they told me the website is OFTEN inaccurate and they have no control over what is advertised and whether it's true or not. 4. January 13, 2022, I am now told this has not shipped and will be coming from an international vendor and there is no timeline to receive my order, while the maximum compensation they can provide is 15% off for this "inconvenience". Would love for this to be resolved, but it really seems like PB is incapable of putting someone on the phone who knows what they are talking about. I have talked through chat, on the phone several times, emailed twice. ZERO accountability. Misleading business practices. False advertising. I got all the receipts too.

My husband and I have gone in during the week and not at a busy time. I carried a rather long list of items I wished to take home that day. Items that included nearly every single dept/area. We roamed about on two separate days. Not once were we greeted. First time we looked for about 45 minutes, zero contact. Second time, I gave them about 20 minutes and realized they were not interested in making any kind of a sale. We had just come from an event that required business attire, so I don't "think" we looked like bums. SO PB, we gave you TWO tries. Found everything we needed in Clearfork. We were actually given "service" in many of the shops and checked off most of the list. We were not the only customers treated this way. I saw several customers with arms full of items and trying to awkwardly carry them to the check out. I do not feel the prices charged in this store warrant such disregard for service. I mean, not even a greeting. Not a "Hey, I don't want to hover but if you need anything let me know..." Will spend my money where it is appreciated.

Our instructor was very personable, helpful, and experienced (she told us about how she had previously won Cupcake Wars and owns a local bakery herself). The kitchen was very clean, everyone was given their own apron to wear, and there was water available to sip on throughout the class. We made a Rainbow Carrot Ricotta Tart, Cherry Turnovers, and a Braided Apple Puff Pastry. All of the items were delicious and I would certainly make them again (they give you all of the recipes at the end of the class). The main reason for 4 stars instead of 5 has to do with pricing. I personally bought two seats in the class and my cousin bought two as well. When we walked in, they assumed we were going to bake all together and removed the materials for one of the stations. This resulted in us baking and splitting our goods amongst the four of us (instead of each pair having their own portion). For $81.50 per person, I was hoping to take more food home than I did! Overall, I would definitely take another class and would recommend it to all!

They posted a tantalizing menu on a Facebook event that had me looking for a way to sign up. Unfortunately there was no way to register for the class online through their website. Matter of fact, the website didn't provide any information about the class. I called the store phone number during business hours several times, but no one answered. Finally I left a Facebook message, and someone eventually replied and asked me to email to sign up. I would highly recommend the store find a way to streamline this process. There are so many online ticketing companies out there that will allow people to sign up and prepay for the event. A customer should never have to work so hard to register. My persistence was due to the tasty and possibly tricky-to-make menu items posted. There was the promise of vegetable samosas with a cucumber sauce and chicken tagine. Unfortunately we didn't get to make the samosas. They had already wrapped the cooked vegetables in phyllo dough and baked them. We got to make the cucumber sauce that topped the samosa and eat the savory creation, but I was disappointed that we didn't get a chance to make this staple appetizer. Our class of eight each had their own cooking station with a cutting board, knife, spatula, ramekins, pre-measured ingredients, cooktop, etc. Aprons were provided so that we would go home with food in our belly as opposed to on it. This was a hands on class where we were able to cut, chop, mix and stir. We were also offered a glass of merlot and a hot toddy to savor during the class. Sadly there was no tagine pot. This was another letdown. I had really hoped we would learn to cook with a tagine. They had one on display. Apparently the owner had ordered them, but they didn't arrive in time. Despite this, the final result was delicious. I devoured every last morsel of my chicken curry poured over rice with a side of wheat pita bread. Dessert was a light, healthy mix of orange slices and dates. The best parts of the class were: 1) Having our own work stations where we could get our hands dirty 2) Being able to drink wine during the evening 3) Asking questions of our chefs who gave us several tidbits we could use to entertain our friends and family later 4) Eating our masterpiece at the conclusion of the class without having to do the cleanup! Would I take another class here? Maybe, but unlikely. The price was steep ($69) per person. For people who already have a little bit of know-how in the kitchen, this class would have been a snoozer, but for those foraging into this area for the first time, the hand holding through the class is definitely a way to build ones cooking confidence.
