I ordered and purchased a double oven during a Black Friday Sale in 2024. It's now February 2025. It turns out the oven we purchased is out of stock and the manufacturer's production is running behind. I can understand that, no problem. But, was first told right after the sale by Texas Appliance that it would be 30 days for delivery. It's now past 60 days. Again, I can understand this. But, the problem is lack of clarity and lack of communication from Texas Appliance. The online sales rep will not return my calls or respond to my emails for a status update. I finally had to reach out to the bricks and mortar store by phone then in person at the store. The sales reps at the store behave as if online sales are a separate entity. My response to the sales reps is that all parts of the operation are branded as Texas Appliance and it should not matter how I purchased my appliance. All staff at Texas Appliance should have the tools and resources to help anyone no matter how the purchase was made. Even having an online order # was not enough to easily look up my purchase and its status in the store. I was told that there is no way of knowing when my oven may arrive. Sales rep even asked if I wanted to change my purchase to a different oven direct from the store. The alternatives are way more expensive - even more galling! This is 2025, things take time to manufacture. I understand. But, many businesses, even small ones, have well developed updated technology that provides seamless transparent automatic tracking on all orders. Then, if there are delays, apologies are issued by the system. Come on guys, I'm an architect and I work with an average of 40 residential clients in North Texas a year. My old refrigerator in the garage finally quit and I needed a replacement. Texas Appliance had one on sale but when I got there first thing Monday morning, unfortunately that refrigerator was out of stock (all stores in the DFW area) and there was no indication from the manufacturers website (it was listed as "unknown") when it would be back in stock. Sales Associate (Are they even called that anymore? I don't know.) Alfredo very patiently helped me find another refrigerator which fit my needs and for not that much more. Overall a very good and pleasant experience. The refrigerator was delivered on Wednesday (shipped from the Texas Appliance store in Pantego) and 24 hours later per the instructions it is ready for use. This was my first time using Texas Appliance. Their prices, delivery and haul away fees are competitive and I recommend them if you need an appliance. read more

We bought a full kitchen of appliances from Texas Appliance on Hulen Park Dr. Mark was our awesome salesman. When they were installed we realized due to the type of handles on them one of our drawers wouldn't pull out without hitting the handle. Purchased a washer/dryer combo from them in 2021. I unfortunately bought an Electrolux EFLS627UTT front load washer that has a mold problem. It's in the gasket and you aren't able to clean it up. Definitely a manufacturers issue and this I understand. Now that I am trying to figure out how to remedy - I realize this is an ongoing mold issue from this Electrolux for many years. I just called the store and the rep was helping me by getting me the manufacturer number. Making casual talk, I asked him if he was aware that it there is a large lawsuit against the manufacturer. He cut me off and was so rude. "Maam - that is none of our business. We stay out of that ... etc, etc,". To which I responded, well don't you just want to know so you can communicate to your customers? His response was just more rudeness and more "thats none of our business". If your looking for a business that carries a large line of products Texas Appliance is that type of location. Unfortunately it ends there . I've spent thousands of dollars with them so I feel I'm qualified to rate this company. Their customer service is extremely poor and they make very little effort to convenience the consumer. Salespeople are not concerned about trying to work with the consumer's schedule, especially if the consumer has already purchased and paid for the product. Orders that we placed and paid for took way longer than we were told and delivery window was all on their schedule with no effort to meet our schedule. So we needed a microwave and were told to try either Texas Appliance or Oliver Dyers. We had never been to TA so we gave it a shot. Our salesman was very nice and helpful, but the rest of the experience has not been good at all. Virtually none of the other staff wore a mask at any point while we were in the store. This was also true when I went back to get the appliance. All of the men working there just stood around together talking with no masks on, while all of the customers were complying with the rules. I was told my microwave would be to the store on the following Tuesday but they would call me when it arrived. They never called. So I follow up and they couldn't find my order, but then finally said "oh yeah, it's here". No apology when I explained I thought they would reach out. I also purchased a warranty on the item through Square Trade. Square Trade did not get my warranty registration and I've spent so much time trying to resolve the warranty end of it. I still don't know whose fault that is but I hold the store accountable since they promote it and sold it to me. What good is a warranty purchase if the process of getting it registered doesn't work. I've been trying to do that on my own but the warranty provider will not take calls about this....only claims. I do NOT recommend you use their warranty process. As a pastor these qualities are important to me and so is integrity. The whole business, most certainly, Andrew, exudes integrity. Even the prices cannot be beaten. Andrew walked with us through the whole process including settling an issue with the manufacturer to get our rebate when there was an issue. Who does that these days? Wow! Please take your business somewhere else. My husband and I were so overwhelmed and confused upon leaving this store. The reps were not friendly, and their knowledge on their products was not helpful at all. They don't display pricing, and did not know the pricing of several products when we asked. There were also multiple times when they stated, "I'm not sure if this is discontinued." Why would you have it on the floor without a sign saying "discontinued" if you cannot guarantee that it's available for the customer? That is a dishonest way to run your business. Another behavior that turned us off from this business was that they did not treat their property well, and several times they kicked stubborn drawers to close them instead of taking care of the products and treating them with care. I would not ever trust buying from this place with the experience we had. We just bought a new house and needed a refrigerator. Came in, warmly greeted by Will who ended up helping us out. We were initially very happy with our buying experience and did purchase a refrigerator and a freezer for the garage. We paid and arranged delivery for a few days later. The day of delivery we were notified both items were on back order and we might possibly receive them the following week. For starters, we were not notified the day before but the day OF that they were unavailable yet he did tell us that they were already on back order the day we bought them. I asked why he didn't say something at that time but he couldn't give an answer. I asked him what we could do, if anything, to remedy the situation in order to have a fridge in our home that day or the following morning at most. His reply was, "Nothing. Did you not hear me say they're on back order?" If you're rude or disrespectful, you immediately lose my business and my respect. Due to Will's attitude and lack of tact (A great salesman would have asked us back in...) I told him that for one, I know what back order implies and that since he was being so rude and could not offer a solution, I wanted a refund. He told me he wasn't sure if he could give one so I asked that he check. I listened to him breathing heavily for 6-8 minutes before he said it could be done. He stated the last four numbers of our card which I confirmed but then he said he needed the entire card number. Since we used my husband's card I sent him a text asking for it. Will did not want to wait even 30 seconds for him to respond and asked that I call him back later with it. At this point, my rating went from 5 stars to 3 stars... then further downhill. Every time I tried to call back he was either with a customer, couldn't come to the phone or had just stepped out. No one wanted to process the refund "for him." Finally in my frustration, the last guy I spoke to that day, Mike, said he would take care of it. After providing our debit card number, he switched and said he'd give the info to Will and someone would call me back shortly. I could not believe this man WROTE DOWN OUR CC NUMBER!!! That is a direct violation and poses a huge security risk!! And no surprise here, we did not get a call back. When I tried an hour later they were closed. In addition to this mess, I arranged to work from home so I could be available for the delivery - this is not something I would have done voluntarily being it was end of the year / month and the beginning of a new quarter. Working from home during that timeframe is chaos. Anyhow, the next morning I called again, and in asking for Will, was told he called out sick and if I could try again the next day. At this point, I asked for the manager who after holding for 3-5 minutes was told he was too busy but he was aware of the situation. I said they could either process the refund right then or I was on my way up there. This time I was told they could go ahead and complete the process and I didn't need to provide anything because another associate had just handed him our debit card information. I pointed out that in itself was unprofessional to have our information lying about. He agreed with me, said it had been locked up (but the same person who saved it brought it to him???) but that it should not have happened. Needless to say, we will not shop here again. I highly advise anyone to take their business elsewhere and had our debit card been compromised, the company would have been liable. This is also how identity theft can and does occur. (Being that my husband and I have both worked in banking, we are very aware of the government and states rules and regulations.) I went to Oliver Dyer's Appliances, spent nearly double the amount but for an upgraded, counter depth fridge and can say that if you want customer service, to ask for Martin. I would have easily spent the same amount here if it weren't for the run around and headache caused by Tx Appliances. Had this been handled differently by Will or especially the manager, this review would be night and day. read more

We have bought a number of appliances from TX Appliance's Fort Worth store - including a Subzero refrigerator and most recently a GE Cafe oven. Shoppers at TX Appliance should be aware that the store provides no after purchase support and you must work directly with the manufacturers. So when you get a lemon, such as the GE Cafe oven with repeated failures despite multiple service calls by GE - they do nothing to help. If you shop at big box stores, they would have replaced the appliance by now. TX Appliance really needs to stand up more for its customers. And because we purchased the appliance in the store, we cannot even leave a review of the Cafe oven online. So be warned, if you want true service, you might want to go elsewhere. read more

I purchased a stove and waited weeks for it to come. Once I got it the oven didn't work. I had to wait more time for the second one to arrive. The second one doesn't work properly either and now I am being told to call to schedule service using the warranty. I will have to wait another month to get service. Terrible Experience! Very clear they only care about making a sale. Just purchased new gas cook top, oven and microwave. Gave all the specifications to the sales associate regarding products i had to help insure the new products would work. They started by missing the first delivery date. I set up to take the day off and they informed me on the weekend they would not make their Monday appointment. Took the day to be home for the instal. Had to reschedule and take another day off. The cook top ended up being just a bit larger so i was hit with $150 fee to grind an 1/8 of an inch off my counter top. I was ok with that except they made an absolute mess in my kitchen. Told me that it would create a little dust but they would get most of it with a shop vac. Having to remove all dishes out of my cabinets to clean and dust. After making a mess in my home, they never hooked my cook top up. Said they do not hook anything up to gas. Not sure why i paid the $400 for installation for a product that i will be hiring another plumber to come out a hook it up. I was very clear with my sales associate that i was on propane and would need to have my cook top work in my home. Called to speak to sales manager of the store and was put on hold with no return phone call. Go to Home Depot for your purchase. read more

Nice showroom. We purchased a built in oven, giving the specifics to the salesperson and were told the installer could make some minor adjustments and do the install no problem. 9 days later the installer looks at the oven and said no way would it fit. Called the store manager, who apologized for the inconvenience and gave us a discount with a new oven having to be ordered. While I appreciate everything the store manager did to correct the situation, I wasn't happy with the way the salesperson handled the sale upon finding out they had the specs for what ovens work with different cooktops and this could have been looked up before the purchase saving us the additional wait time. Really disappointed since we went in with a photo of the old oven,the make and model number. I do like the new oven once it was delivered and installed. read more

I ordered a complete package for my kitchen in Nov 2018. Refrigerator, drawer microwave, cooktop, canopy, blower, and double oven, all KitchenAid. And here I am, May 2019, still trying to get it taken care of. The incompetence of the Hulen location in Fort Worth, TX is ridiculous! The salesman I dealt with, Will O., is uneducated with his product. The manager, Wes?, dodges the issues all together, and near impossible to reach....'on vacation'. What a joke of a corporation. I was told my COMPLETE package was in and set up for delivery back in February. The canopy wasn't in! And I wasn't advised of the need for an extension piece in order to install. The refrigerator is dented on the top panel. Two replacement pieces have been ordered since. The first one was bent on the bottom and the technician couldn't install. The second box came in damaged via usps. Still no resolution. What a joke of a company! TAKE HEED! There and many other companies out there to purchase appliances without all the headache. TA came highly recommended to us to purchase our appliances for our new construction. But unfortunately the lack of communication and lack of professionalism by some of your employees and "assistant manager, Will" we will not be forwarding those recommendations on to anyone else. Hands down the worst sales person when it comes to communicating the status of back ordered appliances when at the time we ordered and paid in full not one mention that it was on back order. I had to call weekly to get status updates or I wouldn't hear from them at all. And every single time I called you could tell the annoyance they had with having to answer my questions each time- great customer service . We purchased a washer/dryer set, fridge, range, dishwasher. On delivery day our builder called and asked if we knew there wasn't a washer in the delivery. No one told us it wouldn't be arriving with the others. But they did go ahead and install our dryer which started the warranty the day it arrived. But dryer sat there for a month and a half and was never used since we didn't have a washer. Now here we are a month and a half out from that dryer delivery and finally have a washer. But we were told the warranties would not match up on them and that they couldn't do anything about it and I would have to call GE to get it fixed- aka fix there mistake. They should have never delivered the dryer without the other piece. They also sold me a floor model fridge and told me there was absolutely no dings and was working 100% since it had only been on the floor for a couple of days. It arrived with missing trays, broken water filter, and dings and scratches all over the front of it. Installer told us they would get us a new one and again, no communication on when it will be arriving to us. But each time I call to check status updates I get treated like I am the problem. Whirlpool Microwave Above Wall Oven purchased and installed through Texas Appliance with one year warranty. Warranty did not cover a fire that broke out in the microwave just after warranty expiration. Spoke to manager who directed me to call Whirlpool for help! Called back a few days later to Texas Appliance after Whirlpool could offer no help and was told either the manager was not in or that she was busy! The male clerk I talked to offered to call Whirlpool for me as none of us could determine why the fire would have started or how I could eliminate the burnt walls in the microwave. The microwave still worked; however, I was very dissatisfied with the help I never received from Texas Appliance and will not be buying from them again. read more

The showroom is very nice. Lots of items on display and the salesperson was knowledgable. Unfortunately that was where the service ended. My salesperson did not communicate at all and I had to keep calling to see when my appliances would be delivered and also to confirm on the delivery day. Even though I confirmed delivery with him on the delivery day, he did not tell me that one of my appliances still had not arrived. Since you have to be home for a very large window of time, that meant I would have had to be home again for the second delivery. Inconvenient and inconsiderate. I called a manager. She was nice and apologetic, but offered no explanation as to why this happened other than he didn't follow through. He never called to apologize. I spent a substantial amount with them. To save time, they called and I picked the remaining item up in my car when it came in. I was lucky it was a cooktop and I have an suv. I called today to see about getting a washer/dryer for our inlaws but after calling and pressing zero to redirect for almost 10 minutes, no one answers the phone. I would not recommend this business to anyone, which is sad because they have a good location and showroom, but poor customer service. read more

This location of Texas Appliance has very poor customer service. I ordered a grill, great price. I was told it would be 1 week. Let me say this, the only communication was initiated by me. After 1 week I called and they gave me a delivery date of May 20th, 2 weeks from when I ordered. On May 19th I called, they said my delivery date was pushed out to June 3rd, 1 month after my order. No on ever called to tell me the original delivery date would not be met. Let me tell you a raised a fit, as I needed the grill for the holiday weekend. Well since it was Friday, they told me they would get back with me on Monday with an update. Guess what, who do you think had to call for an update.....ME! Monday I called and was told the grill would be in late Monday May 22nd. I asked about delivery, they said May 26th. What? It's coming in Monday but you can't deliver it for and entire work week? They did they'd let me know if they could deliver sooner. They did call and said they'd deliver May 25th. I asked again about a sooner date. They said delivery was booked up. So you miss my original delivery date, don't communicate and now I'm punished because you're booked up? Please! Do not buy here if you are in any hurry. read more
