I purchased some sandstone rocks and two ceiling fans. The associate who helped me said that I…read morecould get a discount and free delivery if I applied for a card. So I thought, why not? I was led to believe that if I had the Lowe's card that I would be able to get free delivery in the future on additional purchases. My concern is that I was told this and it was not true. I did get a big discount which made up for the delivery fee which I did appreciate once I understood it. I just don't think it was very ethical for the card to have been presented to me in that way. I will say that the two associates who helped me were very friendly and easy to work with. In addition, I spoke with Dylan at the Weatherford store today and he explained it. He was also very nice as he explained to me that Lowe's in Weatherford did not do free deliveries. I have no problem with the products I purchased. I do feel that someone in authority needs to instruct associates that they cannot offer free delivery and present it as such. That does not seem quite ethical to me.
