I ultimately chose to do their "in house" dental because I was pleased with my initial visit. When I returned to have minor dental work done; they took their time to make sure I was calm and repeatedly asked if I wanted a break during the procedure. This was something huge to me because I was very anxious. The only reason this isn't a five star review is because I think there was a slight lack of consistency among the staff when it came to communicating. My insurance had changed but I wanted to pay the out-of-pocket for being out of network because I had a complicated case (due to many of her decisions) and I didn't want to mess with explaining it and starting over with a new dentist. When I checked in the receptionist asked if I had anything going on and I said just the usual issues she knows about. She had always done my cleanings in the past so when someone else came to get me I was surprised. At the end of my visit, the receptionist came back in and said the reason why she asked me if anything was going on was because my insurance didn't pay for the doctor to come talk to me. I've never had a doctor, while being at their practice, not come talk to me because my insurance didn't pay them to speak to me. Just so bizarre. There were honestly red flags before this with all my friends/family switching and staff turnover. Every time I went someone had left and there was a new face not to mention the building is very run down. I wish I had listened to my gut years ago. Avoid this place if you can!

However, after my first visit here, I now have ZERO apprehension about going to my bi-annual cleanings/check ups. The front desk staff is consistently friendly and helpful, the dental assistants make sure I'm comfortable (including nitrous at the ready), and Dr. Spears always comes by to check in and explain anything that needs explaining.

Terrible experience…read more I normally do not leave reviews, and I am usually willing to let a bad experience go without saying anything. However, this experience was significant enough that I feel it is important to share what happened. This was my first visit to Fort Worth Dental. No dental treatment was provided. I left the appointment without receiving the care I came in for, yet the practice still submitted a claim to my insurance. During the appointment, I was accused by the dentist Dr. Pham three separate times of drug use based on the condition of my teeth. I do not use drugs. I also do not believe the condition of my teeth was severe enough to warrant such an accusation, particularly from someone who had no knowledge of my dental history. What I found especially unprofessional and ignorant was that, after I corrected the accusation, it was repeated rather than acknowledged and moved past. As a patient, you have to trust your dental provider to listen to you, respect you, and approach your care professionally. I felt that trust was violated during my very first visit. Patients should be able to seek dental care without being subjected to unsupported accusations, particularly when those accusations are repeated after being corrected. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this practice to anyone who values being treated with basic respect, professionalism, and trust. The dentist was confidently incorrect and made the entire situation extremely unprofessional.

A gentleman notified me of the price of an exam, xray and cleaning very quickly. Their promotion was a limited time only and spots were filling quickly. So, I decided to get it done. I booked the appointment and I was off to the Dentist. Best Dental was easy to find but, there's a lot of traffic in the area. It's on the corner of Hulen and Altamesa. The building seems historic but, inside it's modern and cool. I was greeted right away when I walked in. Then, I was asked to fill out some forms. It only took five minutes. Then I was quickly called back to get my xray done by the D.A. that was really nice and personable. The Hygienist was also nice loaded with information. Dr. Brown, the Dentist was a female and she was super sweet! I could tell she had a great working relationship with my her team. I don't think I've been to a Dentist as nice as her. I had no cavities and she was really supportive of that. I could feel her positive energy unlike other Dentists out there. Also, the total cost of an Exam, Xay and Cleaning was $120. If you want Flouride it's not included and will be an additional $55. So, if your ok with that. Come here.
