When renovating our front and rear yards, Yards Apart Landscaping provided an amazing service…read more Before placing our house on the market, our landscape badly needed an upgrade. We found Yards Apart Landscaping on Yelp after becoming frustrated with unresponsive landscapers. Within a few hours of our initial request, Sue answered. After a couple of emails, the owner, Troy, arrived at our door the same evening for a preliminary consultation. They worked quickly; we got a thorough price in less than 24 hours. Within a week of submitting the quote, they were able to start the project. Outstanding service was provided. Troy and Sue allowed us to select the items we wanted, and we ultimately decided to go with everything on their quote. Even in the sweltering Texas heat, a work that we expected would take a week to complete was finished in just two days by a tiny but incredibly effective team. And Troy was there, working alongside his group with his sleeves rolled up. Troy was incredibly professional and knowledgeable about plants. He identified our current plants with ease and seamlessly added new ones that properly fit the overall style of our yard. They completed the task ahead of schedule, and we were quite pleased with the outcome. In fact, we're so happy with their job that when our new construction home is ready, we'll get in touch with Yards Apart Landscaping once more. We strongly advise getting in touch with Yards Apart Landscaping if you want to improve your outdoor area. We can vouch to their responsiveness, professionalism, and competence based on our excellent experience.

I had already spent thousands on a landscaper several years ago so I explained to Troy that I wanted to try native plants this time as well as a few of the changes I had in mind. He spent a lot of time listening and making very valuable suggestions. Unlike the first round of landscaping, I decided to give him my budget, and then let him make the choices of plants. Each idea he ran by me I loved, and it was a very easy process in communication. Unlike my first landscaper, Troy was patient, full of great ideas, friendly, and showed excitement about the project. I have had many neighbors stop by and tell me how beautiful my yard looks, and I see people looking as they walk by. Troy also got me in touch with an irrigation expert he vouches for to help my troubleshoot my irrigation system that had. not worked for awhile. He sent me a great company that helped me fix this issues and now I'm able to easily water my newly sodded yard every day! Each time I come home or look out the window, I am in awe at how incredible he and his men made it look. I will be excited when the time comes to call and book the next project, the backyard! Thank you Troy and Yards Apart team! I am so very grateful for your hard work! Carrie Butcher

We hired this crew to redo a neglected area around a large, mature live oak in our backyard -- it…read morewas just bare dirt and old, deteriorating plastic edging when we started. They pulled out the old edging and replaced it with metal edging, brought in fresh dirt and pea gravel, and installed an irrigation line to keep things watered going forward. We also had them plant two jasmine we had in pots, and they patched in new grass around the edges where the old digging had left bare patches. The end result looks great -- clean lines, good drainage, and the area around the tree finally looks intentional instead of neglected. The jasmine and grass patches have taken root well. Jaylin, the foreperson, was easy to work with and responsive to our input throughout the job. It was a small project but he treated it with care, especially working around the tree's root system.

They rejuvenated our side yards, completely transformed our backyard, and built a stunning outdoor kitchen for us. We've been struggling for years with tricky elevation and irrigation issues along the sides of our house, and Manuel really understood the problem and offered a great solution. His design was not only practical but also visually stunning. We had a pool put in the backyard by Cody Pools and alone it would not be the paradise that it is! The pool is beautiful, but the landscaping truly created a personal paradise! We can't forget about the outdoor kitchen. They built exactly what we wanted and precisely installed all the appliances. What a dream! His crews showed up each day ready to work hard--they put in long hours with care, efficiency, and professionalism. Every person on the team was skilled, respectful, and clearly took pride in their work. If you're looking for someone who combines creativity with technical expertise, Austin Gardeners is the team to call. We're beyond happy with the results!

The first company we contacted in the spring wanted to be paid in full BEFORE cutting even started! Thank goodness I persisted in my searching and found Certified Arbor Care. The arborist who came out and consulted had some good tips for us. Her proposal was slightly less than the "all up front" company. A crew of three (very nice guys) showed up this morning and got right to work, climbing our very large live oaks fearlessly. I'll cut to the chase- thoroughly satisfied! The grass is thanking us for the increased sunlight in our yard! I can see the sky again in the back yard. Live oaks and cedar all shaped up, and dead wood all gone. Prompt painting of the cuts. They also trimmed an out-of-control large bush in back yard, which actually has an attractive natural dome shape now. Trees were artfully cut back from our roof and that of our neighbor. And front and back yards cleaned up so you wouldn't know we had just had trees trimmed. I recommend them highly.
