Most of the spots are long term so there isn't much in and out traffic. There are lots of families. Some spots are pretty small - some have trees and some have only rocks. Ours was a nice spot with lots of room - almost a double lot. Pam is very sweet and helped us a lot. It's hard to get into because they're almost always full. It's a good location and we appreciated being able to stay when we needed a place! They have a nice dog park - most people do clean up after their pets, but there are always a few who don't. I would definitely stay again.

The lady who seems to run it told me to call an hour before we were to arrive and leave her a message and she would meet us there. She said we would be in the overflow but there was someone leaving so we may have a better spot. She would let us know when we arrived. We did as she asked (arriving on a Sunday around 5:30 pm). When we pulled in there was no one in the office and no sign of her. We called again (got VM again). After a bit of walking around the building and trying to figure out what to do, a man came out of a trailer nearby and said she wasn't home (she lives in a trailer next to the office building) but told us where the overflow was when I told him we had reservations for a week and what she had told us on the phone. He didn't appear to work there. I called her again on Monday after checking the office for her -which was locked during regular office hours -and her vm was full. Finally that afternoon she returned my call and told us we could move to a different place in the back of the park. It was much quieter back there. The spots are Very close together with no room for a rug and chairs/grill etc. most spots looked like permanent spots with no one even there most of the time. There is a nice dog area and people did clean up after their dogs. The laundry room had 10 or so washers and driers but most were out of order. There was a note posted that new machines were to be installed by the end of February. The day before we were to leave I called her again and left another vm asking if there was availability for us to extend our stay. Again- no reply call back. If we come back to the area we would stay again but don't expect much customer service. It was a clean and quiet place in the back of the park and they had full hookups and city water. But the sites are close together.

Shotgun, the owner, met us at the front and went out of his way to walk and direct us to the beach we needed for the doggos! It was so peaceful and relaxing, and because of Shotgun and the other team members we had an amazing first experience of the year. Our pups had so much fun and the water, although cold was perfect!! We had a lot of fun here. We went on a Friday morning and we were the only ones there for about 3…read morehours. We didn't rent any canoes or tubes or anything. It was $5 per person and we took 2 of our dogs. Leashes aren't required so once people did get there, dogs were just running up to our dogs who were leashed and their owners didn't care. We ended up leaving a couple of hours after that. The water is amazing though and there's a lot of different entry spots into the water. One trail to drive down might require 4x4 though.

The parking areas are well lighted at night and all areas are under security camera surveillance. We have never had a theft or vandalism problem in the many years we have stored our RV. The staff are very polite and courteous. We can recommend them very highly!

Our third rental was an unregistered vehicle that had not been inspected in three years and had endless issues that plagued our entire vacation and added days of driving around the desert in 100+ temps WITHOUT AC to find parts and/or a mechanic. Our first two rentals (2001 and 2017) had zero issues, so the lack of customer service wasn't evident until we had dangerous problems on our 2024 trip... and then they left us on our own, with a piece of garbage RV falling apart around us in the sweltering summer heat... three women, a 4 year old child, and a very hot dog . Literally, the manager (David) left for the day without calling us back, knowing our predicament, after being repeatedly asked to call us back over several hours. Thanks, David In addition to the AC not working, no cruise control, and the truck engine overheating, plus the rental car and hotels during the worst of the mechanical problems, we also discovered that the microwave didn't work, so ALL the food we had prepped in advance to "heat and eat" was a waste of time and money. I briefly considered burning the RV in the desertand flying home, but I look awful in orange. This is not a real threat, just a very real example of how frustrating the entire ordeal was. We eventually fixed the issues (over and over) and ADV offered ONE day free, but we had to rearrange our whole trip at the height of travel season to accommodate the issues with our existing reservations, so we wound up needing additional fee extra days to get home, but the 4th of July closure made it so we couldn't return it until SATURDAY. Guess who had to pay for those days we didn't need? We did. We were supposed to be home on the 29th, finally got home on the 3rd, and had to pay in advance through the 5th because of their mechanical problems. When we brought it back, we received ZERO APOLOGY for our hardship and were NOT allowed to speak to the manager we repeatedly asked for... who was standing right out front and totally ignored us when we drove up in that rolling safety hazard, and again ignored our request to speak to him, brought by a customer service rep. When we walked up to him outside he was rude and blamed his sales reps for not dealing with the situation. Eew, David. Our family trip to see multiple national parks was turned into a nightmare from day one thanks to this irresponsible business. We will NEVER use them again. Photos of the BROKEN ladder we had to climb daily to fix the AC, because the AC motor mount would come unscrewed every time you used it and sounded like rocks tumbling in a dryer. We originally paid $5,234.20 for two weeks and had to pay $1,061.70 for the extension, for a total of $6,295.90 plus another $865.29 in hotels, rental car and über to try to resolve all the problems. That doesn't count plumbing parts, tools we had to buy, or extra gas driving to different cities looking for a mechanic. Ten days after we returned the RV, the ONLY response has been a $347.69 refund, which comes nowhere near to covering the extra hotel and rental expenses we incurred and submitted for reimbursement, let alone the extra days we had to reserve. No phone call, mail or email to apologize for anything or communicate any resolution. We will now be seeking legal counsel due to the major safety issues we were left to deal with on our "vacation" in one of their unregistered rental units.
