I would give this place less than one star but unfortunately it's not possible. The host is rude, unethical and looking for their next dollar. It's crazy how the lack of customer service can be so obvious and yet they don't care. Even when you reserve your spot months in advance (Like i did) they put someone in it. " We'll sorry sir this is a monthly person" the host said with her smug attitude. Your just a peasant who's in only for a couple days, even though i reserved the spot in Jan 25. When you pay a deposit, its for the spot you chose not the one they want to put you in. So if you want to keep the spot that you paid for, not get banned for being upset with their take-or leave it smug dismissive attitude, then go to a different park. The accessibility is great but the and park staff are TERRIBLE! Besides who wants to listen to noise on the 35 while trying to relax anyway. read more

Sweet park right off the highway and accessible to so many things! The river also is right there in the park.

Easter weekend was a blast. This was our first time staying here and we will definitely be coming back soon. The grounds are clean and the sites are well maintained. Wild but friendly ducks roam the park looking for hands out. Bring some duck food or purchase a small bag for a dollar in the office. They seem to greet newcomers quickly. A female goose will make her presentation squawking and attempt to intimidate you. Don't give in or turn your back on her or you may get goosed. Shoo her away and you'll be fine. read more

River Ranch RV "Resort" (notice the quotation marks) This is a decent RV park; however, holding themselves out as a "resort" is a complete OVERSTATEMENT. There are no resort amenities, no pool, no hot tub, no clubhouse. They are, however, located right on the Guadalupe river, though they have made no improvements to their area of the river. For men, there are two showers and one toilet, which is hardly adequate for a park with 50 sights. Again, this is a decent PARK, but a resort, it is not. You are packed in pretty tight. From the door of my camper to the door of my neighbor is MAYBE 8 feet. Honestly, if the place were "River Ranch RV Park" I probably would have added two more stars, but since you are supposedly a "resort" you get two, and that's generous. read more

Clean, well kept grounds, and spotless laundry facilities. You do hear I35, but it becomes background noise and you don't even notice it after awhile. The resort is right on the Guadalupe and they rent kayaks. It's a very peaceful part of the river and perfect for kayaking. read more

Don't give these people your business! We made a reservation, and called back just a few days later needing to cancel because our daughter is sick-10 days in advance of our expected arrival, and they charged us a 50% cancellation fee!! During these crazy times of Coronavirus, all of us business owners need to be better- and extend these courtesies to families who are struggling. We are business owners, and we have altered our policies to assist people during these challenging times. There are other places on the river with better customer service. Yes this place is under the freeway bridges but the view of the river is amazing! Think of it as background noise. The grounds are in tiptop shape, the people that work there were super helpful & even let us borrow an adaptor for our van to plug in. We will be back here for sure, great location & kayaks for people staying here. The bathrooms were in great shape too, dog friendly, just watch for duck poop! read more

Won't go back. Pricey. No features. Absent staff. One of the most expensive parks in the area. The grounds are immaculate. The site next to me had coax cable running to my pylon so I guess there are some issues with the infrastructure. There is a public boat ramp right next to it. From the outside everything looks nice. The freeway noise is irritating. If you don't run the AC or have another source of white noise it will keep you up. I arrived around 4:30, during normal hours, on Saturday and the office was closed with a sign up saying they'd return at 11:00. I wasn't able to check in, didn't get the code for wi-fi, didn't get the combination for the bathroom, wasn't able to confirm checkout time. Ended up leaving late on Sunday, office hours weren't until 1:00 and we should have left at 11:00. I went to the office at 1:10 or so to discuss my late checkout but no staff was there. Someone had left cash sitting on the counter and walked away and no staff were around to collect it. I finally saw a staff member as I was packing up the last of our shore connections. He was walking away after checking to make sure we were leaving so another RV could pull in. If I had not made a reservation I could have arrived to camp for the night and left early and nobody would have known. read more

We Will never stay here again. We made reservations for our anniversary weekend. I received three calls before we got there concerned because we weren't going to be there by 5pm. We're working folks we don't even get off till 5:30. I was told that wasn't their normal policy to have people come in after 5:30. REALLY? Then the host was very rude and short with my husband about his motorcycle. For your information don't be so pre-judgemental; we belong to riding club that everything we do is donated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, we have delivered Christmas present unprivileged children on that "motorcycle" more then I can count. We went to relax and enjoy our weekend. If it had been another weekend and not spring break we would of left and found another more friendly Rv site. read more

Great little RV Park in New Braunfels! Very clean bathroom and showers and super nice people that run the place. Right on the river, nice dog walk area, wifi and cable included. Only thing preventing a 5 Star is the road noise from I-35 but nothing major. read more

Very clean all concrete/cement facility. With marine hook ups . They are still repairing some amenities and facilities from storm and flood damage. Very pricey even during off-season. management and "park posts" have poor communication skills and are just out right rude. But if you need a place to pull into; arent on a budget and don't mind gruff, unhappy and rude people -- you'll find this an acceptable stay. read more

This is a very clean and well maintained park. The staff is super friendly & accommodating and actually stayed open later to wait for late arrivals! The guests were friendly and quiet. A pool or hot tub would be a nice addition, but the property is right on the river if you feel the need to take a swim. If you are looking for a no frills place to stay, this park is perfect. Do Not reserve a space at this RV campground. To say it is a resort is an overstatement of monumental proportion. The campground is located directly under a major interstate, beside a bridge where homeless people wander around, with the rudest front desk clerks I have ever encountered. My family arrived after making a 4 day reservation. When I express my concerns regarding the park's environment and safety for my family, the clerk admitted that the location was not safe to park my boat at the campground due to the homeless people walking around at night, but refused to refund my deposit. The highway noise was deafening, as the park is located directly under the highway bridge. The website made the location look very nice, but the pictures clearly do not accurately reflect the location. This is not a safe or pleasant location to stay and I would not recommend anyone who has a safety concern to stay here. If you put down a deposit and are displeased with the accomodations, they will not refund your deposit. Be Forewarned....... read more

I recently had a 4 day stay at this park and was impressed with the cleanliness of the sites. The owner(Jimmy) and front desk(Julie) were very friendly and helpful. There isn't much to do at the park but a pool would be a big assert. Road noise wasn't as bad as most comments stated. This is more of an adult park and I appreciated that. read more

Stayed in this little RV park this weekend. Staff are pleasant to deal with and they escorted us to our site. Camp hosts came by and talked for a few minutes. The park is located between 2 bridges with constant road noise. Too many petty rules for a park with hardly no visitors. I would not recommend this park unless your just traveling thru one night. Not very pet friendly managers. Fence around park is broken and knocked down in many places so security is not a plus in this park. read more
