You're not packed in right on top of your neighbors, which makes such a difference! The campground is also gated, which is a HUGE plus! There are two dog parks, both double-gated, which is wonderful for those of us traveling with dogs. The staff is friendly and very helpful, and the restrooms and showers have consistently been clean and well maintained. The amenities are another big plus! There's a fun game room and a great little fitness room equipped with a treadmill, stationary bike, dumbbells, and a multi-function, plate-loaded weight machine that allows for several different strength-training exercises. The community room is spacious and inviting, and the swimming pool is absolutely beautiful, complete with a charming waterfall. I also love the little lake on the property. It's such a peaceful place to walk down to in the evenings. It's obvious that thought has gone into making this campground comfortable and enjoyable for its guests. We've appreciated the atmosphere, amenities, and especially the breathing room between sites! Definitely a campground we recommend. We will return -- as we have found our "go-to"!

I'm told that Nancy opened the park about five years ago and there are some who have been here from the beginning and I love that about the place. You just won't want to leave unless you have to. Nancy also offers several spots for those traveling through for only days or weeks. If you appreciate the outdoors and peace and quiet, this is your place. Last night I fell asleep to the owls communicating. There is a family of foxes that make appearances from time to time and a roadrunner that lives around here. Nancy has cattle in the pasture that roam nearby. My bird feeders are overwhelmed year round and it's hard to keep up with the hummingbirds from April to October. Who needs amenities when you have nature? For exercise we walk the long driveway, the park roads, or the pasture. We are only 25 minutes from San Antonio and grateful to be living out of the city, yet close enough to go when needed. You won't find trashy trailers here or loud partiers. There are some rules and that too is why we love it. I noticed there weren't any updated posts and I hope this helps others to consider this piece of paradise. PS...I have no shortage of beautiful sunset pics but these are my favorites.

We stayed in a one bedroom cabin, with a loft. Things we liked: the fan in the living area, full kitchen, the beds were comfy, friendly staff, ability to rent a golf cart, laundry area, playground and pool! Things that could be improved: thorough cleaning after a pet stay (I'm very allergic to cat/dog dander and stayed in the loft with my toddler and if I didn't have socks on my allergies were BAD due to the carpet), a few pieces on trim kept falling off by the door(which normally I wouldn't care but my curious toddler kept touching the exposed nails), no blinds in the loft and shower is SHORT (I'm 5'4" and was bending down to wash my hair). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. I could see how it could be loud for some people, but our cabin was on the non-highway side so we had a quiet and peaceful trip. We would definitely stay here again next time, just in a bigger cabin!

I came to town for work, traveling superintendent working for a reputable contractor with over 30…read moreyears in this town. 6 months with no issues, and a woman(employee of park whom all live on site) decided to walk into the men's bathroom and confront my son by banging on shower stall door and inquire if he was homeless. He was timid like most kids, and did not tell her off as I would have, but he complied with orders to remove himself from the shower stall in a towel, and then she wanted him to walk outside to prove he lived in the spot he said he did by arming his car alarm. He pointed our spot within 200 feet of the bathroom, laundry, and office facilities for the last 6 months but that wasn't enough. Then she simply walked away without any apology or anything said further, leaving a kid in his towel standing there alone and lost as to what he did wrong. He had taken a shower every night in there so he should be known by all staff. I was out of town, or this would have been handled differently, considering the adult I am. She only confronted my son, once he was alone in bathroom, so I feel like he was targeted, because the bathroom was not empty a minute prior to this. Considering all this, and the fact I pay near $1200 to be here, and the QRV corporate people decided to reprimand her and not do anything for is, besides email apologizing and excusing her behavior in what ways worked for them. My favorite part, was corporate kid(Nick) I can only assume kid, because he thought he had the right how to tell me to act or react in this situation. I'm a father of 8, and I'll react how I see fit, and he learned that.

We are leaving this awful place at 11am The owner has…read morelocked the gate and won't let us leave. We have only been here for 9 days. On the night of the 7 day we received a eviction notice for some unknown infraction. We moved here from Burnet tx. We needed a place to stay until we could find a house. By no stretch of the imagination would a 90 yr old and a 64 year old driving a 40 year old pick could or would break his foolish rules. If you would check the reviews on this site are from 2020. My review is the only current one. Those early reviews were by people who only were here for a day or two.. the long term RV people are terrified of being evicted for some trumped changes. Who knows?. We are currently waiting for the sheriff's department to come and resolve this matter. We will probably file a civil suit against him. He currently has men with him if there's trouble. It's better to let the sheriff resolve this At costs stay away from this place. It's subpar!!!!!!

The rv spots were all clean and so was the pool and entire outside from what I saw. The trash bags you see is because you put ur trash bag on the curb and they come pick it up for you. Has power, water and sewage hookups. I don't know about cable we don't watch our tv since we go and do things and just visit. Some of the full time residents actually have really lovely plants and decor, all so friendly. There also is a dog park, the lights do flicker in the park which they could do better or have some more lighting or better numbering for rv spots.
