All the rides are perfect for kids and overall one of the best water parks I've ever been to I would say the best if you go to Texas San Antonio, you have to go here older people in there are really nice if you do go Not only to drink couple help but getting pass passes for everything if you get the bands, you get a ride everything with a fast pass only once though sadly I hope the owner of the park notices this because this is really a great waterpark and the mascot is a dog so that's my favorite animal so really good should go recommended and when I went everyone, there seemed really happy and none of the rides cost money unless you're trying to get the fast band also go on the dragon ride or one of the only roller coaster water parks which has a roller coaster that is only involved with water and it's awesome but when we went, there wasn't the longest water ride. It wasn't available, but if it is to you, you should go on it.

One stared at me blankly and pointed to a QR code. When I told her my phone was locked in the car, and asked what to do because I obviously can't scan without a phone, and there's no reentry. She just stared at me and pointed to the QR code. I honestly thought she was on herion. ( My neice autistic neice was in full meltdown because it was her birthday, and she lost her glasses on one of the rides). When we first got there, we went to customer service, to get the autism passes. I'm neurodivergent, and my neice is 16 and autistic. Her mon, brother's friend came as well. The woman at customer service looked like a deer caught in inheadlights, when asked about the passes. Then refused to give them to us. Then changed her mind and gave us each 1. It was only good for 1 ride. We were supposed to go back to the customer service booth after each ride. The first ride, had no idea what to do with the passes. When we went back for the next ride, the refused us a second time, and only gave us 2. We told them to keep them. I've been to many amusement and watermarks, with my neices ( I have 2 both ironically are fully autistic. ) I live in Illinois and visiting. I would not recommend this for anyone with autistic children or family members. It's the least accommodating place I've ever been.

Now my concern has changed.... I'm concerned that so many of us are missing out on this amazing place! The margaritas are some of the best I've had, definitely a home made mix, and the top off of "holy water" is pretty awesome. The wine selection is impressive and the owner is very well versed in wines, I'd call him an unofficial sommelier. The food was so delicious, the chicken verde enchiladas were perfect and the salsa was spicy but so flavorful. So many times anything with heat is spicy and bland but not this. I even got chips and they were thin, crispy and perfect. Everyone was so attentive and wanted to make sure that everyone completely enjoyed their dish and drink. I had two delicious margaritas and am not a cheap date and I was feeling it, which was nice... a slight euphoric/buzzed feeling that is hard time come by most of the time. It's definitely not Tex mex. You aren't getting the typical "Mexican rice" anything but man it is better. The owner reminds me of a kind dad/grandpa. The kind of guy that is just fun to be around, his staff equally friendly. This place is one of the few family owned restaurants that are truly welcoming and family owned. Give them a try. Tell them I sent ya.

The dining room had random piles of boxes and cases of Costco waters all over the ground. Food stains and marks all over the walls. Could definitely use some cleaning! Our server was a bit rude and when we were presented the bill we payed with cash and he seemed upset about something. We hadn't even left the tip yet! but he decided to go ahead and start saying something to the cook that was hanging out in the dining room that made him give us a dirty look? This is normal part of the process to pay after eating right?! Super weird behavior from a restaurant. They should focus on cleaning the place up and better customer service skills. But if you enjoy dirty dining rooms, mushy raw tortillas and rude service then give it a shot.

06 May 2026 We…read moreusually try a place a couple of times before I write a review, but... It took me reading a Facebook post about Ernesto's and how it's a small family-owned restaurant. Oh and it's very good. So we went this evening. No reservation as I think is suggested. There was a large group of people, a table of four, and a table of two on the main floor. We were seated in the upper area, not on the main floor. We're OK with that. There are about four two-seaters on this level. Ernesto Jr. came by and explained the three specials offered this evening. The menu lists about a dozen different sauces that can top the dish you order. They all sound delicious. I had the Steak San Antonio. This is a filet of tenderloin covered in avocado butter (so good) with an enchilada of your choice, rice and beans. Served with a basket of freshly baked French bread. The husband had a seafood combo: shrimp, lobster, snapper stuffed with lump crab served with rice. His was topped with the Veracruz sauce and another selected by Ernesto. Fabulous. The food has flavor. Tons of flavor. The service is spot on. Ernesto comes by first, talks to you, makes suggestions and then takes your order. The rest of the staff takes over from here. Delivers your food, keeps up with refills, clears the table, brings the bill. This is a well-run process. We had ceviche to start. The husband is not a big fan, so I ate the majority. I enjoyed it very much. When we left, Ernesto came outside to thank us for coming. That doesn't happen at most places. The truly personal touch. Give this restaurant a try if you haven't already.

Why, bc when I saw the name, Ernesto's Mexican....., the first thing I thought was I was not in the mood for Mexican food. When I saw some of the photos they had, the foods the cook, at the number of reviews they had (500+ reviews) and the 4.5 out of 5 star ratings, figured it was worth trying. Should be named, "Ernesto's Gourmet Cuisine". Why? Bc that is exactly what it serves. The quality is exactly what it is, GOURMET quality. We ordered the Camarones De la Plancha in Veracruz sauce And the Crabmeat & Shrimp Veracruz which were both fantastic! We loved both of them. The atmosphere was great. Waiters were nice and enjoyable to order and talk to. They know their stuff. Place is a nice, quiet and enjoyable atmosphere to be with your friends & family. Overall, We give it a 11 out of 10. Why. Not just because of all I said but bc the value for the quality of the food was great!! They've been in business for over 40+ yrs now! You know they have to doing something right. We give it a "Big Thumbs Up" It is worth your time and money, hands down. You'll be happy you went. Rene

In the lobby for checkin today, I had an instant headache because the fragrance was so strong. At that point they informed us that there is some additional fee per day on top of the already pricey room, a fee that they never disclosed before today. We continued upstairs, and I could hardly breathe in the elevator it was so scented. When we got to the room it was also heavily fragranced. I tried to call the front desk, and the phone in the room didn't work reliably. Our call dropped several times. They offered box fans for us to air out the room. However, when we opened the windows, a blast of cigarette smoke wafted into the room because it is directly above their designated smoking area. We asked the front desk for help, and they said not to worry, hardly anyone smokes in that area. Meanwhile we watched several people out there smoking almost constantly. They offered no other accommodation or help. Not worth it. Very uncomfortable and upset because this will ruin our vacation. Edit: 1 to 3 stars. The manager eventually heard our concerns, responding to a secondary issue with cigar smoke in our room after leaving windows open - their recommendation- to air out the room. They found us a different accommodation and made it more than fair and comfortable. Why not 4 stars? Because it took the entire first day to be resolved.

I was very excited to have their gulf oysters only to be told the kitchen was closed. That they closed at 11p. I asked if she could kindly reconsider because I walked 7 blocks from my hotel just for the oysters and I was catching a plane back home at 7am the next morning. Although her tone was nice, she said no. I nicely mentioned it was cold food and offered to pay double with a HUGE tip to the servers. (By the way, nothing in the restaurant site says the cold kitchen closes at 11pm). Serena's attitude seemed to change into the little Napoleon (man)ager complex and started texting on her phone ignoring me and started talking to her staff. When I noticed she was pulling the power trip dismissive tone while looking at her phone, I just walked away and ordered a margarita at the bar. While I was at the bar, I overheard her talking to a male customer saying: "I've had a FU**ED UP DAY YESTERDAY because: 1. I had a flat tire. 2. The B!7CH ass owner was talking shit to me. 3. I found out someone at work was talking shit about me. 4. And I found out my grandfather had cancer." Well, I guess she probably needs a mental stress health day off because her "shitty" day negatively affected her customer service skills. Message to the owner: Serena is an angry little person who probably has no business running a restaurant when customers are your bread and butter $$$. As much as I truly wanted your oysters, luckily I found a place that is currently serving them, albeit a bit further but it's ok. My inconvenience does not compare to the bigger issue you have with your disgruntled manager. Good luck.
