It's September and i'm getting charged for a service we didn't even receive nor asked for. $58.46 we were charged. Called the billing people, Rude guy! Told us we had to pay a $200 cancellation fee!! Like are we joking rn? I'm flabbergasted cause why tf are you trying to charge me a cancellation fee on something i only agreed to ONE TIME SERVICE??? And then charge me for a second service i didn't even receive. SO basically the billing guy told us we had Two options either pay the $200 cancellation fee or set up an appointment for someone to come out and do the service and not get refunded our money! So it's a scam don't agree to the service or sales person. This company is a joke.

Over the series of experiences I've had, it was strangely somewhere in the middle. The positive side was that they were incredibly responsive. The customer service is on point and the attitude of their management is definitely a class act. I have no doubt this is a major driver for their most positive reviews and deservedly so. The part where I struggle is the mixed experiences from the various technicians that had come to one of my properties that had an ant, cockroach, and spider problem. The initial $160 was a bit higher than I expected, but a small price that I was willing to pay to rid the property of creepy crawlers. Jason and Servando (sp) extremely brief in their initial run of the place. Even after their treatment, I still saw plenty of spider action where it was clear were not that thorough. After explaining my situation to their staff, they assigned the manager at the time, Daniel, to come back and apply treatment the way he intended. He went nuclear with a whole host of sprays and was extremely thorough both inside and out. His work made a world of difference and there was very little bug activity for close to a year. He was thorough in his explanaition and super transparent with his approach. If every experience was this thorough I think I'd be more receptive to future service. He has unfortunately left the company. Typically they recommend treatment 3 to 4 months. The subsequent visits after my initial concerns were not charged, which I'm thankful for but should not have taken that many times just to get the desired result. It was close to $250 for carpet ant treatment, which felt out of my budget but was assured that the chemicals would be different than the standard ones used for treatment. I was presented with a 30 and 60-day warranty which is fine but not something I elected to go for this past time around. While I'm sure they've done stellar work for other households and other properties, I do wish that I was able to experience the same magic on a consistent basis.

Restoration Attics was the last company I found after I had already gotten the other two estimates. The other two companies I tried one was kind of rude and the other lied to me about a few things. But that was the other companies. Now let's talk about the good company. The Restoration Attics... The first time I spoke with them over the phone I got ahold of Ivan. Very pleasant person to speak with over the phone. Very knowledgeable and very patient with all the questions I had. For the initial inspection Ivan also came out. Very friendly and professional , explained everything to me, was very honest with me. My Dad worked in the pest and rodent control industry all his life until he retired, so I do have some limited knowledge about a few things with this rodent control stuff I've gleaned from him over the years. Everything Ivan told me checked out and he and all of his workers treated me and my wife with utmost dignity through out the whole process. Every interaction my wife and I have had with The Restoration Attics was great. Wonderful. I don't find many companies that make me feel this calm or at peace that I'm in good hands and being taken care of. The Restoration Attics are a sterling example of integrity. It's been a blessing to me and my family to have found this great company. I was initially nervous the first time they were going to come over to start work. But Ivan came and spoke with me before they started that day and he put my mind at ease about this matter they were taking care of for us. Kristian was the lead man at the job at my house. I don't know where Ivan finds his workers but man, Kristian is a great guy. Professional, hardworking, knowledgeable, answered my questions, and maintained a professional and approachable demeanor every time I interacted with him. Once exclusion was done I met Paul. He's the gentleman that would come check for rodents after the initial phase of the work. Easy going professional great guy. He also checked up on and did some more work on some finishing details with the exclusion and did the disinfecting the attic and garage work after the rest of the work was done. He did a lot of work and did a great job. I also met Eddie, hard working, friendly young man that did lots of work around my house to install the exclusion barrier. Eddie also came over for a few follow ups after all work was done. Rats are stubborn and will keep trying to find ways in. Eddie put this great chemical around places the rats would scratch at to try and get in. The rats really hate that chemical and would go other places instead. Eddie is awesome! Any concerns I had after the work was done was also attended to promptly. Ms. Stephanie the office manager is easy to get ahold of and friendly. When the rats did make attempts to come back into our attic, The Restoration Attics were literally out here usually the next day after I reported it to them, inspecting, and finding ways to keep our home protected. Their prices are fair and competitive. They do a ton of work for what they charge. I am impressed with how much work they did for us for the price they charged. Also Ivan gave me a great warranty on the work they did. If the rats come back during the warranty, these guys will be back at no charge to me. Ivan even mailed me a warranty certificate with his name signed on it for the amount of years he had agreed upon during the estimate. These people are about integrity. They've definitely earned my family's trust. Ivan initially told me they would go above and beyond what I expect when he came to offer me an estimate. He was right. They're a small company, but I put my money on them when compared to bigger companies for the services they offer. I highly recommend you do the same.

Did multiple visits to set traps and check them, after a few weeks of no signs of rodent they came and cleaned out, disinfected, and replaced everything. They were great to work with, everyone was super nice and easy to communicate with. We are very happy with the results. I would say they are a little pricey but well worth it. Highly recommend them for attic needs as well as pest control!

Zero integrity…read more Killum Pest Control had no problem billing my credit card month after month--for 95 months--totaling over $6,400--while rarely performing the services I was paying for. No interior treatment since 2019, no bait station service since 2023--but the charges just kept coming. I've been battling cancer since 2022 and even let them know, yet they offered no alternative, no adjustment, no discount--just kept billing like clockwork without delivering the service. What's worse? They recently told me that the bait stations on my property belong to a third party, something they never disclosed when I paid for installation years ago. Now they want to retrieve the stations but still refuse to acknowledge the lack of service or offer any credit for services not rendered. I asked for a resolution. They refused. I called the…read morefirst time, got a quote and the lady was the friendliest out of all the pest control companies I contacted. Well I decided to go with them because of the price they quoted. My husband called to let them know we were interested, but no one answered. We tried calling 3 more times and still no answer. We decided to leave a message. We tried one more time about 20 minutes later, and still no answer. Finally the lady called back, I believe her name was Loretta. We made an appointment for a few days later (earliest appointment they had available). The man came today and he was very nice. He sprayed everywhere in the house as well as the garage and around the house and backyard. He was very nice and talkative (in a good way). The visit was very quick, I kind of would have liked a little more explaining like when should I not see any more bugs, and if I do see bugs still if I should call and they come by again? I just looked it up on their website (they do come back if you see bugs) and noticed that they offer a 20% coupon to new customers. Wish that was mentioned when I inquired, or even when I was writing my check out when the man was here. Bummer! Overall was a good experience and will be updating this review after I see results from the spray.
