Bought an XXL Coke Zero (one of the few convenience stores to have it), a corn dog, and cheeseburgers. Unfortunately, there were no packets of condiments, but they had bottles and trays of add-ons. They did have small condiment cups but no lids to take on the road. Store was clean and cashier was busy but efficient. Good selection of fountain drinks and coffee flavors. Arco is the only gas station with one of my fav coffees, the Cafe de la Hoja.

I want to give you this one, take one from inside the cabinet and you charge me. She said she didn't understand and she couldn't do that! What do you mean you can't do that. You can't do that or you don't want to do that?? Last night was the final straw with this place! 8:55PM I pull into the station to get gas! I noticed the lights on the inside of the store are almost completely off and a worker is walking around on the inside. I stick my 76 credit card into the pump and go to start pumping and it won't pump gas. Now it asked for my zip code, what gas I wanted, if I wanted a receipt EVERYTHING but wouldn't pump gas. Another gentlemen had the same issue. We walk up to the door, she opens the door a tiny bit and says they are closed! It isn't even 9PM yet. We said we didn't mind the store is closed but it isn't pumping gas. The worker then said she turned the pumps off! You did what??? She sat there watching us at the pumps and doesn't say a single word.... However, my biggest issue is since when does a gas station turn off the pumps at a station?? Especially before 9PM at night? Not to mention you leave the lights on at the pump to make it look like you are open....

I don't know where that came from, and I found it very ridiculous that he treated the next woman in line who was quite frankly and litetally... dressed in a cheetah shirt with hair & makeup like a... politely... whereas he treated me, who is dressed in a turtleneck zip-up sweater, a hat, and a mask with such contempt and disrespect. He is South Asian with a beard, the woman in a cheetah shirt is white, and I am a Southeast Asian woman in appearance. I wonder what sort of biases might have influenced that very unpleasant interaction. I felt upset enough to ask him this question as I left the store: "Do you know what the name Christian means and what Christians stand for? Why are you so rude and disrespectful?" as the name for the pick-up order was "Christian" (although, I have no idea if they are true Christians or not). I will avoid this store. I hope he gets some feedback from his manager. Maybe he will take a minute or two to reflect.

He must have realized it and came back and grabbed the individually wrapped buns and took them to the register I wasn't feeling well , so I just grabbed some condiment packets even though I wanted to add the onions, tomatoes, and pickles that they have available. This isn't my preferred exit - I like the other one with In N Out and Star Casino but that one doesn't have a Chevron. For as long as I can remember we always stopped in Tracy. They used to have this restaurant Orchards - with special home made apricot syrups to put on your French Toast that was to die for. Thats gone now turned into Black Bear diner. Leaves the problem of finding that new perfect routine. One of my routines is to aim for Chevron fuel. German cars can be finicky and if an engine light turns on it can be like diagnosing one of Dr House's patents. I don't need that. Prices were ok and receipt printed at the pump so no need to walk inside. I feel like most gas stations out there are like Black Bear diner. Just bla. Chevron feels more distinguished like Orchards. Call me crazy but maybe I'm just a sucker for the advertisements with all the happy little cars zooming around. I've got a direct injection so I put some extra fuel additive in but if you've got an older car - I think this is good enough. Convenient to the freeway. If your traveling between Sacramento and the Bay this is a great place to stop. Right off the freeway. No who ha. One light... Wonderful neighbors of interest. Lots of places to eat fast and even a fine gaming institution next door. They have some fine Italian Cypress on either side of the entrance and you'll feel as important as Augustus Caesar when you walk through the front doors. Woody perennial plants of considerable height have that sort of effect on people. Go figure. Solid 3.5 stars - I'll round up this time because I'm in that sort of mood.
