Very rude & disrespectful. If there's an issue, things can escalate quickly. I was waiting for a friend in the parking lot by Tesoro Cleaners. I had a garment there that I couldn't afford to pick up at the time, but since I had nothing to do, I thought I'd check if they were able to get the stain out. I asked & specifically said, "I will pick up either way, I just can't afford it at the moment." I was met with a blonde woman who almost immediately accused me of coming there to check the stain so I could abandon it there if the stain wasn't out. I explained that I had just said I would pick it up either way, & she again accused me of trying to scam their system. We exchanged words, with me simply emphasizing that she was being disrespectful & implying I was lying to her (no cussing or insults). She antagonized me even as I walked out the door. Very childish overall. Funny enough, when I told her I wouldn't patronize the store again, she said something like "That's okay. We have plenty of good reviews to keep people coming." Well I counted. 15/43 of their Yelp reviews are 1 star. I picked up my garment & needless to say, I will not be back. Also, very expensive. read more

These guys did an amazing job on an heirloom 100% silk dress with long set-in stains all over it. They managed to completely remove the stains without damaging the silk fabric. The dress looks as good as new, it is so beautiful I really wish I had taken pictures before cleaning so that I could show the difference. The color is vibrant and the silk is shiny and slightly crisp - just like when the dress was new. I am very impressed with this cleaner's work. I will definitely be bringing more of my delicate items (what can I say, I LOVE silk!) here for cleaning in the near future. read more

I picked up my clothing and saw white stains and they were unclean. I brought this to the owners attention. The owner blamed the fabric and said it was difficult to clean. I expressed, I have never had this problem before. ln addition, I had 8 other items all with different fabrics, so no excuse. She was rude and would not take accountability or resolve the issue. I had to ask to have my items dry cleaned again. I offered to pay only for the clothes that were ready for me to wear and I would pay for the others when they were ready. They refused and required me to pay for all of the items in full, even though they were not ready and I had to wait several more days to pick them up due to poor quality work. This was an inconvenience for me. The owner did not seem to care. read more

Severely disappointed! Brought in 3 items, 2 for cleaning one to be mended. For the item that was to be mended, it's a vegan leather jacket and can not be dry cleaned, the lining of the jacket had been torn and I needed it repaired. When I picked the jacket up the leather was peeling and ripping all over. I called the store to figure out if they had cleaned it, the representative had to call the owner then called me back to say no it had not been cleaned which was reflected in what they charged me. When I pushed to why the jacket was now falling apart as I never would have take it to be repaired when the exterior was clearly falling apart, she didn't know and said I could come back Monday to speak with the owner. I pushed to have a call back, which the owner did call, her repo de was the same that they repaired only as reflected in the price. I again tried to be logical and explain I would not have repairs the lining when the exterior of the jacket was ruined and also if it was ruined when I brought it in why was it not noted at that time? The owner told me I probably like to wear it torn like that!!! I understand mistakes but I will never understand an unwillingness to take ownership for that mistake. Fo not recommend! read more

I have been dropping off our garments here now for 2 years and Tesoro Cleaners is the BEST! The staff is very friendly and kind. Recently, while dropping off my husbands dress shirt I asked if they could fix my daughters bunny. She said bring it on in and she would take a look at it and see if she could help. I brought in my daughters bunny with an eye and nose to fix and a few days later it was as good as new! My 5 year old daughter was soo happy! This place is amazing and the service is impeccable! Been a customer for a while here. It a little away from the valley but I trust them with all my shirts and bedding. They always are friendly and are efficient. Surprised at the bad reviews. Never had a problem with late or bad work, been about 4 years using their services. They even stayed later than closing one night when I informed that I was running a bit late (30 min) but I really needed the 3 pcs for a weekend event. Thank you guys, keep up the good work. The woman working at the time refused to take ownership and offered $20 for my $200 dresses AND still charged me for the dry cleaning. Avoid this location at all costs. Never thought I'd have a favorite cleaners before coming across Tesoro Cleaners. Had a couple of pieces that needed to be shortened thanks to my model status height of 5'2. I'd been to a few places in the area, but was never satisfied with the results. My best friend recommended this place, and I'm glad she did. The employees were so sweet and helpful. I needed it by the following day, and they said there would be no problems with that. They let me know when I could expect it to be done and gave me the price before I left. Dropped off a blanket for cleaning here on 8/28/13 they told me at that time that it would be ready by 09/04/13. Went in 09/13/13 after being fed up with thinking they give me a call to remind of the fact that its done or that it even is done. Nearly ten extra days they had my property. And you know what? I asked the people working there if its there policy to hold on to other people's property indefinitely if they do not come in to pick it up. They said that "the receipt is the only reminder to pick up stuff your going to get." They also said they may for some reason another after a lengthy time frame if needed for extra space contact you. But only if they needed the space or are closing down for good. I asked if they were at all planning on contacting there customers in a reasonable time frame because most people don't have the time to be dealing with petty occurrences such as cleaning a blanket that became accidentally dirty. When something like that happens once in a blue moon how is a priority for us to remember to pick up a blanket in the middle summer? The people working here aren't concerned with providing the customer the best possible service. Let alone air conditioning or even a operational phone line on which they should use to do business. Take you hard earned cash and property to a more respectful establishment. read more

THE WORST! Tesero Cleaners hemmed my colleague's pants but did not complete the job. When she showed them, they argued and made her try them on. Once they were on, they agreed that the job was only half done- anyone could see that! They agreed to finish the job, but when she went to pick them up, they said she had to pay another $15! They told her that their policy is: "We pin-you pay!" She was dumbfounded! We told others at our workplace about this experience, and they said that Tesero Dry Cleaners is known for quibbling about money and arguing with their customers. NEVER AGAIN! read more

Overpriced.. not sure how they stay in business with so many places around and such high prices. We had to get something altered and it was more expensive than average prices. We went here just in the fly. I won't be coming back but I will say the three stars is simply for the customer service. The woman that helped us is charming and nice. I saw this cleaners when I went to Albertsons. I had a few of my husbands dress shirts that had some stains on it, and I wanted them to remove it. I asked them to clean it by the next day because he needed it for work. When I went to pick it up the next day I was surprised to see the stains gone, and for a great price. I paid about $10 for three shirts. I will continue to use the dry cleaning service for years to come. read more

Moved to Valencia and decided to get my knee length lab coats cleaned at Tesoro Cleaners. $7.95 per seemed a bit high, but it was a convenient location. Since the volume of coats I brought in was small, I didn't haggle, figuring the gas savings offset the top of the scale pricing. My first brush with "Tesoro Cleaners reality' occurred when they quoted me $12 to do a simple t-shirt hem job. A bit stout for one round on the scissors and sewing machine. Note to self: No alterations will be done at Tesoro Cleaners. A couple weeks ago, good ole' Valpak supplied me with coupons for the place. Wow...I was elated. But then, upon running full tilt there with one lab coat, I was informed that there was a two piece minimum. Okay, mea culpa. I dutifully hoarded lab coats until I had the magic minimum, and then gleefully returned to satisfy my parsimonious nature. The male half of management accepted my "with incoming order" coupon, no muss no fuss. Today, they delivered the coup de grace to this loyal customer. I went in to get the two coats, and was informed by the female half of management that the charge was $16. Whoa...that's more than 2 times $7.95, and I had a coupon!!! She fussed around with the cash register and gave me my dime. I exclaimed, "What about my coupon?" Hackle elevation time. She says, "Sorry, the coupon is for dry cleaning only, not laundering." I told her I had brought the coats in for dry cleaning, not laundering. Now, I'm not a dry cleaning dilettante, but I know that laundering is generally preferred treatment only if a lab coat is stained up or really grubby. Mine are never, ever more than lightly, slightly soiled. The cleanest post-use lab coats in LA County, except maybe for the smelly but unstained underarms and a few wrinkles. She said, "It is up to my discretion whether to launder or dry clean." How convenient considering the teeny-weeny fine print coupon terms which she didn't show me. I averred that had my dog tendered his collar for service, he would know better than I if laundering was required in lieu of dry cleaning. Her condescending attitude and the "gotcha by the gonads" smirk told me I was wasting my time. The male half of management went to the back, ostensibly to check his skirt, while Ms. Tesoro reveled in her under $5 victory. Unless I won the Lotto or bunked at the noodle spot a few doors down, nothing on God's green earth would get me back to that caricature of evil trade. In our day, when government, police and lawyers are accountable for nothing, it would behoove us to be honest and kind to one another in our every human contact. read more

Totally over priced.. Not worth it! I had my husband drop off 8 pieces of clothes here because it was the closest dry cleaners to our house and I didn't do any research before.. Well here we are a few days later, clothes to be ready today, and they were... But not worth the $53 dollar bill it cost the 8 items to get them done! WAY OVER PRICED! All the clothes we brought in were cotton, no special fabric or anything! They did get some Chapstick stain off a shirt, so the quality was good.. But we will NOT BE BACK! read more

I have used Tesoro Cleaners for 5 years since moving to this neighborhood. I have never had an issue until this month. I unpacked my dry cleaning and the pieces looked off color. Specifically two pieces, a white cotton button up that was orange as if burned by an iron all throughout and a cream and black Calvin Klein dress that was now grayish/blue with black stripes. I took the pieces back to the cleaners and their response was less than comforting. They stated that there was no way they were responsible for this but they would try again. I gave them that opportunity as again, I had been coming here for years. The shirt came out better but the dress was ruined. The lovely cream dress with two black stripes along the bottom was still a grayish/blue color with black stripes. Companies make mistakes, no one is perfect and things don't always turn out like you plan. However, Tesoro's response was a complete failure. Their response was "it wasn't them", "it was obviously the dress" (which had only been dry cleaned one other time by them with no issue). Stating that "white is a color and the dry cleaning process removes color thus I should have expected this to happen". When I pressed for compensation for the ruined item and only what was stated available on the back of my receipt (10 times the cost to dry clean, which would have been around $30 for my dress, a pittance compared to what I have given them over the years) I was denied even that. Upon leaving, I let them know that I would no longer be using their services and could not recommend them in the future. The saleswoman just shrugged her shoulders. I was disappointed in the loss of my dress, but even more in their response and lack of customer service to a customer that had been so loyal to them in the last 5 years. read more
