First, you walk in and don't immediately get hit with the musty-chemical smells like you do every where else. Their place looks and smells clean. The clothes came out great, they did some alterations fast without charging extra. Their prices are reasonable. Our clothes smell nice, the cleaning is excellent- and they are friendly (rare). I cannot begin to say what an incredible job Unique Cleaners does. I brought in two quilts, both heavily stained, that I got at an antique store. Took some pants in to get altered. They did not do them right. One pants leg was higher than the other. Had to wait for them to fix them. They told me that they would be ready a certain date and when I went to pick up, they weren't ready because they forgot to mention to me that the seamstress was on vacation. After paying extra because according to them, they were wider leg. It was more work and paying for them to be steamed. It was a pain to deal with them and unfortunately, we not be using them in the future. read more

I found this company on Yelp and trusted the good reviews, so I came in. I was immediately greeted and given full attention. I had several garments that needed altering, but each was tended to quickly and with detail. I had such a great time while I was there, we laughed about the odd original sizing of the garments. The alterations were ready in about 4 days and although the price was higher than originally quoted, she was so sincere in explaining to me what happened, that I didn't mind. They ruined a brand new pair of jeans I purchased and would not replace them. I took them there for a hem and they were cut 2 inches too short so they no longer fit me. The worst part was they were the last pair at the store and I loved them (was so excited about them). I found another pair online but the owner refused to purchase them because she would have had to pay full price when I purchased them at a discount (I was honest with her about the price I paid). It shouldn't have mattered. They ruined them so they should have replaced them, its as simple as that. They paid me what I paid for the pants but I can't replace them for the same cost so it doesn't matter. I will never do business here again. To top it all off the owner was very rude and condescending and cut me off every time I tried to talk. She kept my pants too (which was very odd). read more

The dry cleaning services for my coat was overpriced and although this business offers coupons online they are very picky when you present the coupon to them, therefore not sure why they are advertising them. As luck would have it, I waited until the last minute to pull out a white dress I was planning wear at a gala. Well, to my surprise, the dress had stains all over it. I went to Unique Cleaners in the hope of having the dress cleaned within an hour, so that I could take it with me out of town but that's not a service they offer. The nice lady recommended that I take the dress to another cleaner in Mt. Juliet, which I did but they don't offer the service either so at that point I decided to leave the dress and pick it up when I returned from out of town. I picked up the dress, from the other cleaner and they weren't able to get the stains out but charged me an amount of money that I didn't think was fair, in light of fact the dress was returned to me in the same manner. I had only worn dress once so I decided to try my luck and take it back to Unique Cleaners to see if they could get the stains out. Well, they were able to get the stains out and I have worn the dress and received tons of compliments. Bob called me and I asked him how was to able to get the stains out and he said he's been in the business for 30 years. Let me tell you, it's obvious he's been the business for 30 years because when I thought all hope was lost they were able to get the stains out.
