I needed to find a dry cleaners as soon as I moved to Santa Clarita from LA. I picked a dry cleansers at random. They broke the zipper of a jacket and bleached an expensive pair of jeans. So I went on Yelp to look for a dry cleaners with five star ratings and adequate prices. I came upon Bridge Cleaners. Jimmy the owner is the nicest most professional dry cleaner I've ever seen and so is his wife Cindy. The service and results are phenomenal! I use Jimmy for dry cleaning and alterations. Always top notch results. There's a Coffee Bean near by. I often leave the dry cleaning with Jimmy and get a coffee. When I come back, the dry cleaning is ready and packed. My parents are now customers of Jimmy since getting poor service from the same dry cleaners I left. read more

Extremely disappointed with the service and care of my wedding dress. Brought my Jenny Yoo wedding dress in to have stains removed and pressed clean with no box because I'd be wearing it. After picking it up, I saw they had pinned my dress with safety pins along the top to secure to the hanger even though it has garment straps for hangers. Outraged at the damage of my $2000 dress!! I had a pair of men's slacks I'd wear for work which were 3 sizes too large in the waist just so they'd fit over my "junk-in-the-trunk" So I said to myself, "self, I can fix these pants, no problem! I'll just, cut a 2" piece off each side then sew the two ends together..." NOPE! The waistband was off-center, the material at the waist was bunchy and the pockets were suddenly kind of weird! When I decided I could no longer wear these Dr. Frankenstein slacks, I took them to Mr. Jimmy at Bridge who asked me, what in the world I had done?! After my very amateur job and explanation of my "process" Mr. Jimmy took mercy on me and rushed the repair in 2 days because I needed them for work. My slacks fit like they came off of the rack! I felt like a new person. I was ecstatic! He took a pair of slacks with entire chunks missing, linings sewn together, elastic bits with buttons hanging out, I mean, he raised these pants from the dead! Bridge Cleaners was timely and helpful in getting my wedding dress cleaned and ready for re-sale. We also brought in a few other items for cleaning and were happy with their service, for the most part. There were some stains that were overlooked, that I think should have been removable? (make up stains, for instance). On a separate note: it is hard to stomach the amount of waste generated for each item of clothing, as each item is hung on a separate hanger with foam, plastic clips, two paper labels, and a large plastic bag. How many plastic bags, hangers, and foam pads are used each day? Each year? It is estimated that dry cleaners use more than 300 million pounds of plastic film, every year, in the U.S. alone. These items will undoubtedly be in landfills for thousands of years, degrading into ever more pernicious and harmful micro-plastics which threaten our wildlife, water, soil, and air quality. Fortunately, there are simple solutions available to the dry cleaning industry, including: - offering re-usable clothing bags for a fee to customers, which could be redeemed when returned to the store - asking customers if they would like to opt out of a plastic bag/foam/plastic clips completely, for a small percentage off - encouraging customers to return plastic bags and hangers to the cleaners for re-use, for a small percentage off While these adjustments can be hard for a small business, I know that if we as a community can show our support for Bridge Cleaners in reducing plastic waste, we can help make the transition an worthwhile one. We have been coming to Bridge cleaners for many years and they have always done a great job. I don't usually write reviews for this kind of service but today was different. My wife forgot she had left our daughters dress for a performance at the cleaners and didn't pick it up by Saturday.(her performance is at 7am on Monday) By chance I messaged them on fb and on Sunday they responded and said they would meet us to help us get the dress. Although they were closed and it was totally out fault for not picking up the dress on time, they went above and beyond and helped us when we needed it.
